Can we prevent a second civil war?

I got this from JPFO here is the Linkie
JPFO is a very aggressive 2nd Amendment organization, I use their resources to combat the propaganda from the lamestream media and other propaganda outlets used by the leftist groups that still search for their utopia of government control and tyranny cloaked in socialism.

There are three issues that could presently trigger a Civil War in America:
  • Illegal aliens. A government that refuses to protect our borders, the methodical structure of citizenship, and the rule of law, will only be tolerated for so long. America is reaching a tipping point on this issue.
  • Abortion. Irreconcilable differences here. This may likely become as potent an issue as slavery was in the 1860s.
No other significant present day problems could potentially result in the “brother against brother” tragedy of a Second American Civil War.
Sooner or later, the massive invasion of America by illegal aliens will be confronted, if not by the rule of law then by either armed police officers and soldiers … or armed citizens. There are twenty million or more illegal aliens entrenched in this nation now. How many tens of millions more will it take to reach a tipping point? At what point will law enforcement agencies and/or the military begin to do the job they were sworn to do? At what point will citizens themselves be forced, by government inactivity, to confront this invasion by force of arms?
Will the liberal politicians actually allow this showdown? Is this actually the sort of crisis opportunism that Obama’s Rahm Immanuel, and other leftist cultural Marxists, relish?
As an American, and a gun owner, would you take to the street to confront this illegal alien invasion? Do you have a personal breaking point on this issue?
I won’t deal with abortion here, except to note that the anti-abortion forces have the same moral intensity and personal commitment that was demonstrated by the slavery abolitionists of the nineteenth century. We saw where that led in America.
However, there is a third possible cause of a Second American Civil War: infringement of the right to keep and bear arms.
This nation’s Second Amendment freedoms have too long been burdened with the lethargic, tunnel vision behavior of the gun owners known as “Elmer Fudds”, or, as Aaron Zelman used to call them “quackers”. This is the “good ole’ boy” type who simply doesn’t care about gun registrations, permits, regulations, or even confiscations, as long as he can keep his deer rifle or shotgun and exercise his “sportin’ rights”. This myopic fellow can be bought off for the price of a buck tag or duck license. Even Senator Chuck Schumer is a “Fudd”! “I ain’t gonna take your shotguns away, fellas!”
On the other side of the room from the Fudds is the “Cold Dead Fingers” crowd. A lot of tough talk over in that camp. A lot of arm chair patriotism and rhetorical heat. A lot of “let ‘em try to take my guns!” chest puffing. But somewhere at the core of this quite large group of gun owners is a determined minority that does really mean it.
I would assert that every single one of these very determined armed Americans has some idea, deep in his or her heart, as to what their personal “line in the sand” actually is. When it comes to this amorphous, mostly low profile, group, the hammer is cocked. These folks are getting to be known as the “Three Percenters”.
What the cultural Marxists, elitists, and authoritarians who advocate “gun control” (read "Know Thine Enemy") don’t seem to be able to grasp is the strange fact that a significant minority of human beings are willing to fight ferociously to preserve their freedoms. This irascible minority has yet to be awakened to action. But they’re sleeping with one eye open.
The attacks on the Second Amendment have, since 1934, been so gradual and incremental that the victim disarmament forces have prevailed to an amazing degree. They hear the loud complaints of gun owners, then make strategic “compromises” with other compromisers, and then, sure as day, there’s another gun regulation, permit process, limitation, restriction, tax burden, or license needed for each of us to exercise an unalienable right that, according to the American Bill of Rights, “shall not be infringed”.
Makes me think of the laughs I got as a kid when, in the Bugs Bunny cartoons, Elmer Fudd’s head turned into a big “SUCKER” when Bugs had tricked him once again. What also comes to mind is Charlie Brown and Lucy with her football, the football, that, to my knowledge, Charlie Brown was never able to kick. Only, unlike the comics, few of us are smiling about this. This could become deadly serious. Because the sneaking vermin cannot be allowed to win.
What must be obvious to any truly concerned American gun owner is that we absolutely must take EVERY action afforded us to prevent a Second American Civil War. This means that gun owners must become far more personally involved. Gun owners have to really grow fangs and learn to “snarl” in a societal and political sense. Wake up! You are the “gun lobby” these insidious liars and manipulators complain about! Remind them of that in every lawful way that you can.
Do you want to remain completely anonymous, but still help? A blank postal money order sent to GOA, SAF or JPFO works just fine, thanks.
We have to learn how to warn these gun prohibitionists off with unrelenting determination. When we gain a political victory or legal victory like the Heller or McDonald cases, we must be willing to dig into our own pockets and financially support those who truly won those victories, so that they may drive forward and win another, and another, with relentless momentum.
Political activism doesn’t need to cost much at all, especially in this day and age of email and unlimited phone calling plans. If you can’t afford to donate money to a Second Amendment organization, write the letters, send the emails, and make the phone calls in support of our gun rights. Talk to your gun owner friends and neighbors. Don’t let them remain Fudds or Quackers!
Or, when you hear “They ain’t gonna get my guns!”, ask that person how he or she is going to stop them. Don’t let this kind of chest puffing go unquestioned. Ask the arm chair warrior what he or she is doing now, today, to PREVENT that horror. If the question makes them uncomfortable it should! It won’t be Chuck Norris, Sly Stallone or Arnold coming through with minor flesh wounds, friends. A Second American Civil War will not be played out on a Hollywood set. You won’t be able to get up and leave the theater.
We need to prevent that war before it happens. How can we best do so? By preserving our right to keep and bear arms. Contribute to JPFO today and help us to protect that right. So called “gun control” must be completely destroyed. We m

The Obamas Silent in the Face of Race Atrocity

I got this from the American thinkerhttp://www.americanthinker.com
There have been a spat of  black on white violence the past few years.  And here in Atlanta some Delta airline employees got attacked, beatened and robbed.  All you have to do is go to you tube and type in black on white violence and you would have a plethora of clips to choose from.
For the average human being, it was not possible to watch the video of two black women beating the life out of a defenseless white woman at a McDonald's in Baltimore and not feel complete and total revulsion.  Adding to the horror was the knowledge that the black employees -- one who only half-heartedly attempted to intervene, one who was filming the barbarism, and perhaps others not seen on the video -- did absolutely nothing to save the white woman from her assailants.

While police investigations are focusing on whether the attack was a racially motivated hate crime, the LGBT group is also suggesting that the assault was a hate crime due to the victim being a transgender woman, notwithstanding what appears to be a lack of evidence that the woman's sexual status was known by her assailants.  In either case, it is clear from the video that the monsters beating their helpless prey were filled with animal blood lust that was completely inhuman.

One of the first thoughts that I had when trying to process this heinous assault that left the woman bleeding from her mouth and seizing violently on the ground was how it reminded me of the days of wilding, the Central Park jogger case in particular, and of all the other senseless hate crimes that occur in our cities.

The end of the age of America.......

By Brett Arends, MarketWatch
This column has been updated to include a reaction from the IMF.
BOSTON (MarketWatch) — The International Monetary Fund has just dropped a bombshell, and nobody noticed.
For the first time, the international organization has set a date for the moment when the “Age of America” will end and the U.S. economy will be overtaken by that of China.

IMF sees China topping U.S. in 2016

According to the latest IMF official forecasts, China's economy will surpass that of America in real terms in 2016 — just five years from now. Brett Arends looks at the implications for the U.S. dollar and the Treasury market.
And it’s a lot closer than you may think.
According to the latest IMF official forecasts, China’s economy will surpass that of America in real terms in 2016 — just five years from now.
Put that in your calendar.
It provides a painful context for the budget wrangling taking place in Washington right now. It raises enormous questions about what the international security system is going to look like in just a handful of years. And it casts a deepening cloud over both the U.S. dollar and the giant Treasury market, which have been propped up for decades by their privileged status as the liabilities of the world’s hegemonic power.
According to the IMF forecast, which was quietly posted on the Fund’s website just two weeks ago, whoever is elected U.S. president next year — Obama? Mitt Romney? Donald Trump? — will be the last to preside over the world’s largest economy.
Most people aren’t prepared for this. They aren’t even aware it’s that close. Listen to experts of various stripes, and they will tell you this moment is decades away. The most bearish will put the figure in the mid-2020s.

China’s economy will be the world’s largest within five years or so.
But they’re miscounting. They’re only comparing the gross domestic products of the two countries using current exchange rates.
That’s a largely meaningless comparison in real terms. Exchange rates change quickly. And China’s exchange rates are phony. China artificially undervalues its currency, the renminbi, through massive intervention in the markets.

The comparison that really matters

In addition to comparing the two countries based on exchange rates, the IMF analysis also looked to the true, real-terms picture of the economies using “purchasing power parities.” That compares what people earn and spend in real terms in their domestic economies.
Under PPP, the Chinese economy will expand from $11.2 trillion this year to $19 trillion in 2016. Meanwhile the size of the U.S. economy will rise from $15.2 trillion to $18.8 trillion. That would take America’s share of the world output down to 17.7%, the lowest in modern times. China’s would reach 18%, and rising.
Just 10 years ago, the U.S. economy was three times the size of China’s.
Naturally, all forecasts are fallible. Time and chance happen to them all. The actual date when China surpasses the U.S. might come even earlier than the IMF predicts, or somewhat later. If the great Chinese juggernaut blows a tire, as a growing number fear it might, it could even delay things by several years. But the outcome is scarcely in doubt.
This is more than a statistical story. It is the end of the Age of America. As a bond strategist in Europe told me two weeks ago, “We are witnessing the end of America’s economic hegemony.”
We have lived in a world dominated by the U.S. for so long that there is no longer anyone alive who remembers anything else. America overtook Great Britain as the world’s leading economic power in the 1890s and never looked back.
And both those countries live under very similar rules of constitutional government, respect for civil liberties and the rights of property. China has none of those. The Age of China will feel very different.

Right Wingers Continue to Mean-Spiritedly Nitpick at President Obama

Cry me a fucking river  Did I say that out loud?   My bad.  The same left that slung so much vitriol at Bush, Palin  derided my Tea Party as "astroturf" call the Republicans " Mean spirited"

COMMENTARY | Despite the fact President Barack Obama participated in an Easter Egg roll Monday as well as church services Sunday, he has once again come under fire by right wingers, this time over trivial matters regarding the religious holiday: The White House never released a proclamation about Easter, and even conservative TV hacks like Sean Hannity whined about it Monday night with his "Great American Panel."
Seeing the president and first lady participate with thousands of children for the annual Easter Egg Roll on the White House South Lawn, progressives, who are cognizant of how much the right wing loathes Obama, must have wondered what grounds they would find to accuse the president over this time. Like how he and Michelle read the story "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" or the "Get Up and Go" theme promoting anti-obesity?
Given the White House had issued releases on Muslim holidays and Earth Day, conservatives have found yet another "Obama conspiracy" to gripe about, along with his birth certificate, the issue that current leader in the Republican pre-primary polls Donald Trump has been browbeating for his own ego

Where can I start.....lessee....The term right wingers...The left use that word like an  epitaph.  They put soo much emotion into that word,  like the people that don't agree with you politically are evil, stupid and ignorant.
Obummer talks about earthday, which just so happens to be on V.I.Lenin's birthday, like that was some coincidence...they had 365 days to pick one and just so happens to pick one for the guy that started the communist party.  Obummer also mentions Muslim holidays and doesn't mention the christian ones,  His response was to say" Those holidays aren't practiced by most Americans"  The birth certificate was mentioned, as I understand it, obummer finally released the complete one.  This individual mention conservative conspiracies ..like the liberals don't? what you call the 911 truth crap?
A lot of people don't know when certain Muslim holidays take place, as well as Earth Day. So why get on the White House and Obama for letting the public know that the executive branch of government is aware of the holidays of other religions that aren't practiced by the majority of Americans? It's not like Obama or his family are seen regularly attending mosques.  They attend churches that practice black liberation theology and push social justice.

What the Obama bashers fail to realize is that actions speak louder than words. Obama and his family attended services at a Washington Baptist church shiloh baptist church, the one that said that obummers preacher Rev Wright was correct about America preaches Black liberation Theology and continued the Easter tradition with kids Monday. He was golfing sunday....You know...that day called Easter? Furthermore, virtually every American knows that Easter weekend took place this past weekend,But the Easter Egg hunt was on monday.gotta get in some golf... so why necessarily make a proclamation about it?So those that are new to this country will understand the significance of a major holiday  to their host country. What, does Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin need White House reminders about holidays since their awareness about other things is questionable, i.e., the Minnesota congresswoman's lack of U.S. history knowledge, How about obummers lack of knowedge of U.S. Constitutional law. and the former Alaska governor needing hand crib notes to get by? Obummer don't use crib notes...he has professional speechwriters and a fucking teleprompter.

Being against a president over his policies is one thing, but being petty over everything Obama says and does reflects the mean-spiritedness of many in the conservative movement.   How about the vitriol used against bush and Palin, we are just mean, what y'all did was so far past mean it was utterly disrespectful and blind hatred.  We listened to y'all spout off and say the nastiest  vilest , made a movie about assassinate Bush, y'all with the code pink wacko's gave medical supplies and money to those people that are actively trying to kill our troops.  Y'all ridiculed him as a chimp with a hitler mustache.   Y'all have done things to Bush for 8 years and now y'all want to call us "mean spirited"  well fuck you,   Get a life and a clue.

The Story of jim

 I borrowed this from lisahttp://lucyemerson.blogspot.com/

   I loved the parable ;)

I am terrible at thinking on my feet.

Sure, I've uttered my share of witticisms and even profundities, but far more often than not they have been the result of past conversations or debates that I'd had wherein the other party left me dumbstruck or unsuccessfully scrambling for an answer. I'm the person who has the perfect comeback . . . five minutes later. In short, I am one of the last people you want spearheading your side of an argument in an impromptu debate.

A couple of months ago a dear friend of mine posted on his Facebook page his belief that a large (and growing) federal government has given us, as Americans, more freedom than the much smaller and limited one that we started with. This felt profoundly wrong to me, but pontificate as I might (and did), I still couldn't put my finger on why his reasoning was flawed. I've been chewing on the matter ever since; what follows is the result of my ongoing mental mastication.

This is the story of Jim. Jim was an average young man in an average American town. He earned above-average grades in high school, and went on to attend an average American college. Jim's parents, while not destitute, were in no position to help him with finances, so Jim worked full-time at an average college job to support himself, riding his bike to school, then to work, and then back to his far-below-average studio apartment to study, eat average college food, and fall asleep. The next day began the whole process again.

One day, while Jim was enjoying a rare free moment, his uncle paid him a surprise visit. Jim's uncle was a wealthy man, though no one quite knew what he did to amass his fortune. He entered the tiny rented room with a warm greeting, and sat on the edge of the bed. After exchanging pleasantries and small talk, Jim's uncle asked if there was anything he could do to make Jim's life easier. Jim didn't want to impose, so he politely declined. Jim's uncle pressed his point, saying, "Jim,I've known you for longer than you remember, and it pains me to see you having to struggle this way. Here," and he pulled a small black card out of his jacket pocket. Jim tried to refuse, but his uncle insisted. "Use this as you see fit," he said to the young man. They talked awhile longer about various family members and Jim's classes, and then, after affectionate goodbyes, Jim's uncle left.

Jim followed his uncle to the door, and shut it after him. He then turned over the small black card in his hand. It was a credit card. . . sort of. There was a sixteen-digit number on it and a magnetic strip , but no expiration date, no name, no logo, not even a signature bar. Just a wholly unremarkable, glossy black card. Jim wondered how it could even work, and then decided that he would not find out. He was determined to go it on his own, just like his parents had taught him. "Earn what you get, or there's no joy in having it," his father liked to say. Jim went to throw the card away, but hesitated. It couldn't hurt, after all, to have options, could it? That's really all he was doing, was being careful, he told himself as he put the card in his desk.

For months, Jim rarely even thought of the card. Then, one day he noticed a letter from the college in his stack of mail. Times had grown tough not just for Jim, but for everybody, and money was tight all around. Though Jim had carried his above average grades with him to college, they were no longer enough to maintain his scholarship. Jim sat crumpled in his chair, head in hands. He would have to delay his schooling and spend the next semester saving for the following term. The thought was not at all appealing -- hadn't he suffered enough? He worked his heart out and sacrificed so much; how could this happen? Suddenly, that little black card loomed large in Jim's mind. Surely it wouldn't hurt to use it for his living expenses. Not luxury items -- just the stuff he was already using. Then he would work even harder, improve his grades so he could get his scholarship back, and then put the card away. Other students lived on credit -- was it really so wrong?

Jim put his plan into action, knowing full well that he might regret it when the bill came. He determined he would cross that bridge when he came to it. He was a little nervous the first time he swiped the little black card, but it worked just fine. All he needed to do was sign. He stayed true to his word, using his credit judiciously. A month passed. Then two. Jim checked every day, but no bill came to him. Worried, he called his uncle. "Don't worry about it, my boy, it's all taken care of," Jim's uncle reassured him. "But..." Jim started to protest, but his uncle cut him off: "It's all taken care of. I meant what I said -- use it as you see fit. I'll tell you what: I'll arrange with your employer to automatically deduct payments from your paycheck, alright?" This eased Jim's mind, and he let the matter go.

In the ensuing months, Jim came to rely on the card more and more. He asked his boss to move him to part-time hours: With all his needs paid for, he could start focusing on his wants, and one of those was more leisure time. The money he earned could also go to wants, rather than needs. Jim felt as if the weight of the world had been removed from his shoulders. His wants, however, soon outstripped his income, and he found himself pulling out that little black card more and more often. The card seemed to have no limit; though his purchases grew progressively larger, the card was never declined.

Jim was coming out of the store after one of his larger purchases when he saw a man standing at a nearby intersection holding a cardboard sign. Jim walked over to talk to the man, and found that the man, Andrew, had fallen on hard times. He had lost his job, could not find another one, and had a family to feed, so he stood on the corner begging strangers for money. Andrew's story troubled Jim; he'd experienced hard times himself, and could not imagine having to face unemployment with a family to feed. Jim quickly told Andrew about his little black card, and offered to use it for Andrew's family's expenses as well. Andrew, overcome with emotion, threw his arms around Jim and sobbed thanks into his shoulder.

Word of the miraculous card spread quickly, and soon Jim was inundated with requests for help. Some seemed more legitimate than others, but who was he to judge? Jim accepted them all, and it seemed that in no time half of the town was dependent on the card Jim's uncle had given to him. Jim was thrilled that he could help so many people. Gone were his days of counting change for food; now, because of him, those days were gone for so many others, too. "This," Jim thought to himself one night, "is freedom."

Jim's philanthropic ventures weren't the only thing on his mind. There was a young lady he'd met in class. Sharla. She was beautiful, intelligent, kind -- everything Jim was looking for. And, though he could hardly believe it, she reciprocated his feelings. It wasn't long until he had a ring on her finger. Money no longer being an object, he made sure that their wedding was everything she had ever wanted. He thought nothing could have made him happier, but he had to admit he was wrong on that point on the day that Sharla gave birth to their first child, a darling baby boy who they called Sam.

Sam was just a few days old, sleeping in his mother's arms in their comfortable home, when there came a knock at the door. Jim ran to answer it and found a delivery man standing there with a package. Jim signed for the package, thanked the man, and went back in the house. He turned the box over to see not his name, or Sharla's, but Sam's. Thinking it was a gift for the new baby, he opened it. He was puzzled to find not gifts, but a stack of official-looking pages. He grabbed the first one and began to read.

Jim could feel the blood draining from his face. His hands began to shake. This had to be wrong, this could not be possible. He raced for the phone, punched in his uncle's number, and demanded that the old man get there NOW. Jim paced the floor while he waited, unable to continue perusing the pages in the box. Not possible. Not possible.

Jim's uncle knocked on the door in short order. Jim nearly wrenched the door off its hinges, grabbed his uncle by the arm, dragged him to the box, and thrust the first paper into his face. "How?" bellowed Jim. "How is this possible?!"

Jim's uncle stepped back, stroked his white goatee thoughtfully, and calmly said, "Jim, I told you it was taken care of. You never asked how."

Jim's eyes grew wide. "How could you do this to me? To him? My son, he's just a baby! How on earth can he pay this off?" Another thought gripped Jim, turning him paler still. "Half the town is living on this card! They depend upon it! I can't just cut them off! But if I don't..." His sentence trailed off as he stared in anguish at his son, who had somehow slept through Jim's outburst.

Jim's uncle nodded gravely. "I'll tell you what, Jim. I can help you with this problem as well." He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out another card, just like Jim's, but with a different number on it. "Give him this when he's of age."

Jim was flabbergasted. "You cannot be serious," he said. Another thought occurred to him, and he grasped at it like a drowning man lunging for a piece of driftwood. "What about the payments that were being taken from my paychecks?"

Jim's uncle laughed. "My boy, surely you don't believe you made this much?!"

"Well, no," admitted Jim, clinging to this last tiny piece of hope, "but it's got to count for something, right?"

Jim's uncle laughed again. "My boy," he said again, slightly shaking his head from side to side, "how do you think I've made my fortune?" He stuffed the second card into his stunned nephew's hands, nodded to an equally stunned Sharla, and escorted himself out, leaving a horrified silence in his wake.

And now I will ask you the question that was surely running laps around Jim's beleaguered mind: If you have to steal from and enslave your own children to achieve it, can you truly call it freedom?

Obummer and oil......

Katie Dud

Back when George W. Bush was President of the United States, the mainstream media not only claimed that he was personally responsible for rising gasoline prices (which would ruin the lives of working Americans), they also suggested that he was sneaking to people's homes at night to deflate their cars' tires and take a leak in their windshield fluid reservoirs.

But today, things are very different. Even though Barack Obama's
two year legacy of anti-oil policies would seem to have a direct bearing on the skyrocketing cost of gasoline, only 1% of network news stories bothered to mention that, just maybe, Obama's moratorium on oil drilling and exploration - and his lobbing cruise missiles into the oil fields of Libya - just might have something to do with the fact that a tank of gas now costs twice what a share of General Motors stock does. No, really.

Instead, the networks are parroting Mr. Obama's assertion that the rising prices are due solely to the oil companies (the evil rich), and oil speculators (the evil rich), and Republicans (the evil rich) who have failed to prudently invest in sustainable, natural, alternative energies (unicorn farts).

Which is, perhaps, why network news ratings are increasingly going into the dumper. As today's cartoon mentions, CBS has just agreed to accept Katie Couric's "decision" (wink-wink, nudge-nudge) to leave her position as anchor of the CBS Evening News...but only after covering a really
important news story: the Royal Wedding of Two People Whose Names We Don't Remember But Sort Of Like Anyway Because They Didn't Send Invitations To Barack And Michelle Obama.

Here at
Hope n' Change, we'd like to think that Couric's dismissal could hint at the possibility of actual news reporting returning to the networks...if only in an attempt to steal some of Fox News's audience share.

But it probably won't happen. We have it on good authority (from the mainstream media) that the real blame for the decline in network news viewership should be directed at George Bush.

Just like the blame for everything else that's happened for the past two years

To Retire Our National Debt, We Must Retire Obama

I got this from Human Events, it is a comment about the federal deficit and the total lack of guidance from the present administration with the exception of the class warfare demogaugery.
Everyone but the blind and reckless agrees that the United States faces a dire financial crisis. But only one of the two major political parties is offering a plan that has a reasonable chance of averting this crisis and restoring the nation to financial health.

Obama's ever-changing proposals, allegedly designed to tackle the problem, simply could not work. One of the following must be true: He doesn't agree that the crisis is grave, doesn't understand that his policies can't work, doesn't have the same vision about America as most of us, or doesn't intend for his policies to work. Some people believe he's intentionally damaging America, because they believe he's too smart not to know that we face a crisis and that his policies can't work.

I don't pretend to comprehend the inner child of his past that apparently impels him to pursue this current path of destruction. My educated guess is that his leftist ideology blinds him to the inefficacy of failed liberal prescriptions but also that this same ideology tells him that if things don't get appreciably better, then that's OK, too, because America's had more than its fair share of prosperity anyway.

Think about it. Through every fiber of his being runs a sense of injustice at what he perceives to be a grossly inequitable distribution of income in America. He largely blames these inequities on capitalism. Please don't call me an extremist for saying that, either; I hear it in almost everything he says and see it in what he does.

I correspond with liberals like Obama every day, whose angst reflexively attaches to those who have succeeded under our system: villainous corporations, oil companies, fat cat bankers and wealthy individuals. It's not just that capitalism is inherently flawed for fostering a climate that guarantees such disparities in prosperity but also that those who have exploited these flaws are evil.

As the leftists' sense of fairness and "economic justice" tells them that people's incomes in this country should be more equitably distributed, it likewise tells them that the wealth of the world's nations should be more equitably distributed. Call it "balance," the administration's most recent euphemism of choice.

I only indulge in this brief inquiry into Obama's mindset because it enables us to see that he doesn't view the nation's financial problems with the same degree of urgency as most of us do. To him, the stakes don't seem quite so high, because if we fail, the worst that could happen is that we get our comeuppance and/or become a European socialist state -- and what's so bad about that?

Obama's ideology tethers him to the idea that the central government should be the primary engine of economic growth and the super-arbiter of the winners and losers in our economy. He cannot countenance the possibility that Keynesian stimulus spending does not appreciably stimulate and probably does just the opposite; never mind that we can't afford it. He can't process that we cannot tax ourselves into prosperity or out of debt. He is viscerally unwilling to restructure the programs that have us committed to $88 trillion in unfunded liabilities. And he either cannot comprehend or is morally hardened to the evil and ineffectiveness involved in the government's making command-control decisions rather than free people through the invisible hand of the market, especially in health care. He cannot understand or is rebellious against the truth that capitalism is morally superior to and produces greater prosperity across the board than any other economic system, bar none.

Paul Ryan's plan is light-years from being radical, but it is eminently realistic and promising. He proposes phasing in his Medicare reforms so as to keep the government's faith with those who've already reached retirement age and converting it into supplemental government aid while introducing market forces; restructuring Medicaid as block grants to the states; and establishing a deferred trigger for Social Security reform. Not being a slave to class warfare thinking or a defiant scoffer of the 10th commandment, he has proposed, along with Obama's deficit commission, tax cuts that would stimulate economic growth, which is indispensable to reversing our debt picture.

Obama, captured in his maximum-security class warfare prison mindset, has proposed even higher taxes on the already overburdened producers, which would further smother the economy and prevent economic recovery, growth and abatement of the national debt. His only real remedy for Medicare is to empower the Independent Payment Advisory Board to ration health care according to its one-size-fits-all lunacy. This might artificially control some costs, but not without destroying the quality of health care and defeating Obama's stated purpose of Obamacare: to make health care vastly more accessible.

There can be no workable compromise with Obama because his plan could not work to retire the debt and avert our national crisis. The only solution is to retire him.

How to behave during a islamic massacre

I got this from www.Pajamamedia.com  I commented the same thing several weeks ago when the muslims rioted when that idiot burned the koran.http://mydailykona.blogspot.com/2011/04/burning-of-koran.html

Female protestor stands her ground in Frankfurt against muslims

This Woman has courage, to speak out despite the intimidation by the radicals in Frankfurt. I used to live there in Germany and was stationed there for 5 years. To have somebody stand up and say something is telling. She is aware of the danger of the radicals that protest in Europe and have nothing but contempt for their host nations. The radicals want to impose sharia law in Europe and their own beliefs on other.  I wish more of the people of the West would stand up to the radical muslims and speak their mind and not be cowed or intimidated by the PC movement that is rampant in the West.   What is more powerful about the above video is the fact that the PC movement is stronger in Europe than here, and to have an average German speak her mind.  What the video doesn't show is what the other people are saying, I believe that they are the muslims, they are telling her to"go away" If the German Police wasn't there, they would have done more than tell her to go away.  Radical muslims view women as chattel and as property and they will beat women for disobeying the men.   To me she is the German version of Pamela Geller of http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/
Go you girl, to me she is a heroine for standing up for what is proper and I hope that nothing bad happens to her for speaking up.

And why weren't the Obamas invited to the Royal Wedding?

I shamelessly borrowed this from  "knuckledraggin"  here is the link, and a great websaite.http://ogdaa.blogspot.com/

I am shamed on how our traditional and staunchest allies are being treated by that asshole sumbitch in chief  amateur in the White House.  Great Britain has been our greatest ally since WWII.  Great Britain went into Iraq on the faith and belief and strength in the unique friendship and bond of our relationship.  Now they are crapped on by this tool.

From the London Daily Telegraph's Editor on Foreign Relations

"Let me be clear: I'm not normally in favor of boycotts, and I love the American people. I holiday in their country regularly, and hate the tedious snobby sneers against the United States. But the American people chose to elect an idiot who seems hell bent on insulting their allies, and something must be done to stop Obama's reckless foreign policy, before he does the dirty on his allies on every issue."
One of the most poorly kept secrets in Washington is President Obama's animosity toward Great Britain, presumably because of what he regards as its sins while ruling Kenya (1895-1963).
One of Barack Hussein Obama's first acts as president was to return to Britain a bust of Winston Churchill that had graced the Oval Office since 9/11. He followed this up by denying Prime Minister Gordon Brown, on his first state visit, the usual joint press conference with flags.
The president was "too tired" to grant the leader of America's closest ally a proper welcome, his aides told British journalists.
Mr. Obama followed this up with cheesy gifts for Mr. Brown and the Queen. Columnist Ian Martin described his behavior as "rudeness personified." There was more rudeness in store for Mr. Brown at the opening session of the United Nations in September. "The prime minister was forced to dash through the kitchens of the UN in New York to secure five minutes of face time with President Obama after five requests for a sit down meeting were rejected by the White House," said London Telegraph columnist David Hughes. Mr. Obama's "churlishness is unforgivable," Mr. Hughes said.
The administration went beyond snubs and slights last week when Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, endorsed the demand of Argentine President Cristina Kirchner, a Hugo Chavez ally, for mediation of Argentina's specious claim to the Falkland Islands, a British dependency since 1833. The people who live in the Falklands, who speak English, want nothing to do with Argentina. When, in 1982, an earlier Argentine dictatorship tried to seize the Falklands by force, the British -- with strong support from President Ronald Reagan -- expelled them.
"It is truly shocking that Barack Obama has decided to disregard our shared history," wrote Telegraph columnist Toby Young. "Does Britain's friendship really mean so little to him?" One could ask, does the friendship of anyone in the entire world mean anything to him?
"I recently asked several senior administration officials, separately, to name a foreign leader with whom Barack Obama has forged a strong personal relationship during his first year in office," wrote Jackson Diehl, Deputy Editorial Page Editor of the Washington Post, on Monday." A lot of hemming and hawing ensued." One official named French President Nicolas Sarkozy, but his contempt for Mr. Obama is an open secret. Another named German Chancellor Angela Merkel. But, said Mr. Diehl, "Merkel too has been conspicuously cool toward Obama."
Mr. Obama certainly doesn't care about the Poles and Czechs, whom he has betrayed on missile defense. Honduras and Israel also can attest that he's been an unreliable ally and an unfaithful friend. Ironically, our relations with both Israel and the Palestinian Authority have never been worse. Russia has offered nothing in exchange for Mr. Obama's abandonment of missile defense. Russia and China won't support serious sanctions on Iran. Syria's support for terrorism has not diminished despite efforts to normalize diplomatic relations. The reclusive military dictatorship that runs Burma has responded to our efforts at "engagement" by deepening its ties to North Korea. And the Chinese make little effort to disguise their contempt for him.
For the first time in a long time, the President of the United States is actually distrusted by its allies and not in the least feared by its adversaries. Nor is Mr. Obama now respected by the majority of Americans. Understandably focused on the dismal economy and Mr. Obama's relentless efforts to nationalize and socialize health care, Americans apparently have yet to notice his dismal performance and lack of respect in the world community. They soon will.

Sir Barack the valiant

I got this from www.hotair.com  I also saw this cartoon on www.patriots post.com   The cartoon pretty much explains our campaigner in chief.

On Wednesday, Barack Obama tried to claim the mantle of deficit-slayer in a speech that was long on posing and short on actual spending-cut action.  In fact, as I noted at the time, step one of Obama’s “plan” to slay the deficit was to, er, keep “investing” through federal spending.  Nate Beeler at the Washington Examiner casts Obama in the timeless tale of Sir George and the Dragon, and ends up closer to Sir Robin and the Holy Grail:

The only way this depiction could possibly be improved would be to show Sir Barack the Valiant taking the moral high ground by promising to get the dragon to burn 20% fewer houses, while characterizing the townspeople wanting to kill the dragon entirely as heartless purveyors of baby-dragon orphanage.  Otherwise, this is spot-on.
Be sure to check out Nate’s blog for more of his excellent work, featured at the indispensable Examiner.

Federal labor board seeks to ground Boeing

This article is from the Washington Examiner,   I read this and immediately thought of "Atlas Shrugged"  and the bureaucrats forcing Rearden Steel to fork over its product " for the common good".   I fear for this republic.   The same kind of people are trying to extend the outdoor anti-smoking ban for" the public good".  I don't smoke, but I believe in free choice, and they are cutting our freedoms bit by bit and nobody is complaining.

Members of the National Labor Relations Board are seeking to force Boeing to build an assembly line in Washington state instead of South Carolina. Pat Sullivan/AP
Can federal bureaucrats tell a private company where to build a factory? Members of President Obama's National Labor Relations Board think they can. In a decision that even the New York Times is describing as "highly unusual for the federal government," Lafe Solomon, who was appointed to the board by Obama, filed a complaint on behalf of the NLRB on Wednesday seeking to force the Boeing Co. to build an assembly line in Washington state instead of South Carolina. The NLRB action stems from Boeing's October 2009 decision to build a new factory for its new 787 Dreamliner airplane near Charleston, S.C. Boeing first sought to build the new plant near its existing facility in Puget Sound, but negotiations with the International Association of Machinists broke down when the union refused to agree to a long-term no-strike clause. The IAM had struck four times since 1989, costing Boeing at least $1.8 billion in revenue.
That's when Boeing chose South Carolina, a right-to-work state where, unlike Washington, workers are not forced to join unions. As a result of this policy, only 6.2 percent of South Carolinians belong to unions. Construction of Boeing's new Charleston factory is nearly complete, and the company has already hired more than 1,000 new employees, drawn mostly from within the immediate region. And back in Washington, Boeing has actually increased employment at its Puget Sound plant by 2,000 workers. But that isn't good enough for the IAM or the Obama White House. After suffering major defeats in Wisconsin and Ohio, the labor movement is looking for a scalp. Obama's NLRB is trying to turn Boeing into one.
The NLRB is hanging its case on a senior Boeing official's statement to the Seattle Times that "The overriding factor [in transferring the line] ... was that we cannot afford to have a work stoppage, you know, every three years." The NLRB absurdly claims this is "unlawful employer speech" that infringes on "a worker's fundamental" right to strike. But the Supreme Court has long held that firms may consider the economic effect of strikes when making business decisions. Also, Boeing's existing collective bargaining agreement with the IAM allows Boeing to build facilities at other locations. An administrative law judge will hear Boeing's objection to the NLRB's complaint June 14, so there still is hope sanity will prevail. But a decision in favor of the IAM would be a disaster not just for Boeing, but for American workers everywhere. A ruling in favor of Obama's NLRB would make it presumptively illegal for any unionized firm to invest in a right-to-work state.
At first, this would mainly hurt right-to-work states, as they would no longer be able to lure new businesses from existing unionized firms. But over the long run, this policy would hurt unions and all Americans. Why would any domestic company choose to build a factory in a forced-union state if it knew that meant it could never expand to a right-to-work state? Why would any international firm invest anywhere in this country if it knew the White House would favor political allies?
The NLRB isn't protecting workers, it is setting them up for eventual unemployment

Earth day idiots

You know, for a while I wondered why Earth day was on Lenin's Birthday Vladimir Ilyich Lenin (22 April 1870 – 21 January 1924), was the godfather and founder of the modern communist movement.  I suspected that the environmental movement is just a cloak for anti-capitalistic activities since capitalism is the great satan to the communist and other hard and softcore leftist that hang around the Western based societies like parasites.  You will not find them anywhere else.  They are with us because of our laws protect idiots, and other places rule of law is a nasty gulag or a 9mm bullet in the ear.

                                                        www.wikipedia.org

Earth Day is a day that is intended to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's natural environment. Earth Day was founded by United States Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in first held on April 22, 1970. While this first Earth Day was focused on the United States, an organization launched by Denis Hayes, who was the original national coordinator in 1970, took it international in 1990 and organized events in 141 nations.[1][2] Earth Day is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network,[3] and is celebrated in more than 175 countries every year.[4] Numerous communities celebrate Earth Week, an entire week of activities focused on environmental issues. In 2009, the United Nations designated April 22 International Mother Earth Day.[5]

Income Redistribution

This I stumbled across following other links. and it explains much.

In Obama’s recent speech on reducing the debt (also see my earlier post on this subject), President Obama proposed instituting a “debt trigger,” or fail-safe mechanism, that would force the government to make substantial reductions in discretionary spending if deficits exceed 2.8 percent of GDP starting 2014 (which they are going to as a result of his budget calling on more and more spending combined with his policies which encourage lower and lower GDP). Entitlement programs would be exempt, which is important, because entitlement programs make up most of what our government spends money on and are predicted to overwhelm our entire budget in the coming decades, so by making them exempt from this ‘debt trigger’, the President conveniently votes present on the most important issues facing our nation once again.

Wake Up, Critics: Here’s Obama’s Grand Plan

I read this from one of the blogs that I check out every day.http://ibloga.blogspot.com/

Hint: the White House is a stepping stone.

I have always been an admirer of David Axelrod — since I found out who he was. His creation of the Obama myth is one of the most impressive marketing and propaganda feats in history, carefully crafted from a simple set of rules and masterfully applied to challenging, shifting circumstances.

Axelrod knew just what he was doing. He created an African American candidate without the ghetto rap. He created an ultimate urban intellectual alternative to George W. Bush — a veritable anti-Bush. He created a pseudo-legend based upon a semi-fictional autobiography.

He created a quasi-evangelical being with the gift to heal the earth.

To create this myth, the Axelrod team had to suppress the dark pages of Obama’s life. Obama’s ideological convictions were simply too far off center, too much the result of a radical leftist ideology.

Obama was a lifelong student of Marxist and neo-Marxist thinkers, his life dedicated to a theoretic approach based on the “historical” conflict of opposing classes. Long before he received the Axelrod touch, Obama was planning the long march through the institutions as a student. He has been as much a brilliant strategist and tactician as Axelrod. He has known when to lay low, and when to attack; when to aggrandize, and when to diminish.
When Obama started to realize that a path to the White House could be opened, he knew he had a problem. As a student he created a trail of radical papers which could be catastrophic to his career. But he was lucky, and able, to hide them in time.

Where the job are......

I got this from hope and change cartoons, it is a cartoon but the story it tells is real life.  I have bemoaned the loss of our industrial prowess and technical skills.  All the skilled jobs are leaving and they ain't coming back.  Before I got hired at my present employer, I worked at Ford Motor Company here in Atlanta for 11+ years, we built Tauruses and Sables( both good cars, I owned 3 of them)  When my plant closed down, we knew that it was coming, Ford Motor was good to us in a bad situation, we got a good severance package,Those that wanted to transfer could transfer to other location and keep their seniority. They maintained my medical insurance on my family at no cost to me for 6 months.  I still have a pension with them.  I don't hate the company, but I did hate the position we were in, because of market share issues Ford had too many assembly plants for its North American operations.  The reasons for the plant closing was varied, no close vendor plants, outdated vehicle line, older plant, not set up for lean or flex manufacturing.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlanta_Assembly

SuperDownsized

On Tuesday, McDonald's gave Barack Obama the gift of rising employment numbers by hiring 50,000 new employees in a single day.

The jobs, which start at $8 an hour, were once considered "starter positions" for teens...but at some locations, the majority of slots are filled by adults and working parents who are grateful to find
any work at all in the Obamaconomy.

But how can McDonald's afford to be hiring? Part of the answer may come from the fact that the fast food giant saved a "supersized" amount of money when they were granted a waiver from Obamacare.

Of course, the idea that companies with "more money" can do "more hiring" is
preposterous according to the alleged president, who is simultaneously working to raise business's taxes, healthcare costs, and energy costs. Which presumably will continue to kill professional positions across the country, and free up more applicants to work at McDonald's as counter help.

Or, if the economy continues on its current path...as meat.

How to ,splain the budget process

To understand the U.S. federal budget, divide by 100,000,000

We have a family that is spending $38,200 per year. The family's income is $21,700 per year. The family adds $16,500 in credit card debt every year in order to pay its bills. After a long and difficult debate among family members, keeping in mind that it was not going to be possible to borrow $16,500 every year forever, the parents and children agreed that a $380/year premium cable subscription could be terminated. So now the family will have to borrow only $16,120 per year.

Freeloader Nation

I got this from the Neal Boortz website, he is my homepage and I get a lot of good stuff from him.  the URL is www.boortz.com.
By Neal Boortz
This growing trend can only lead to one thing: crippling our society. There comes a point when the few producers can no longer support the growing masses of moochers. We are rapidly approaching this point. As Paul Ryan says, this is the most predictable crisis in our history that we are facing. So take a look at these facts ..
For the first time since the Great Depression, households are receiving more income from the government than they are paying the government in taxes. The combination of more cash from various programs, called transfer payments, and lower taxes has been a double-barreled boost to consumers’ buying power, while also blowing a hole in the deficit. The 1930s offer a cautionary tale: The only other time government income support exceeded taxes paid was from 1931 to 1936. That trend reversed in 1936, after a recovery was underway, and the economy fell back into a second leg of recession during 1937 and 1938.
Congratulations Barack Obama for achieving a majority moocher society on your watch! A society where households are receiving more income from the government than they are paying in taxes. A liberal hack Community Organizer wouldn’t have it any other way

Run Herman Run

Here is a candidate for President that surprisingly hasn't gotten any attention.   Go to www.hermancain.com

and read up on him.  I much prefer him to the failed 2008 candidates that are jockeying for a run for the GOP nomination.  We need somebody new and I think Herman Cain would do much better than the current occupant in the White House.
This is a quote beck in 1994 when Hillerycare was being pushed, when Herman Cain had an opportunity to speak to President Clinton during a televised townhall program.
"In 1994, as chairman of the National Restaurant Association, I had the opportunity to speak with President Clinton during a nationally televised town hall meeting. Here, I challenged the President regarding the impact on businesses if his health care overhaul proposal were passed.

President Clinton attempted to assure me and the millions of viewers watching at home that his legislation would not harm American business owners and their employees.

I was skeptical. “Quite honestly Mr. President, your calculations are incorrect,” I said. “In the competitive marketplace, it simply doesn’t work that way.

Constitutional Amendments......

I got this from GOC www.grouchyoldcripple.com

I like the idea and figured I would pass it on.

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971...before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to
become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.

I'm asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on
their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the
message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.

Congressional Reform Act of 2011
1. Term Limits.
12 years only, one of the possible options below..
A. Two Six-year Senate terms
B. Six Two-year House terms
C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms

2. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when
they are out of office.

3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security
system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system,
and Congress participates with the American people.
How long do you think it would take Congress to fix Social Security if this happened? ... GOC
4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will
rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
I've got a better idea. They only get a pay raise when the budget is balanced. Deficit spending means no pay raise for the congresscritters. What kind of politicians are they if they can't survive on their already generous salaries and all the money they get in bribes and graft? ... GOC
6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same
health care system as the American people.
Wonder what that would do to Obummercare? ... GOC

7. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/11.
The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen.
Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is
an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators,
so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three
days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Maybe it is time.

THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!! If you agree with the above, pass it on.

Raging Against Self Defense:
A Psychiatrist Examines The Anti-Gun Mentality

By Sarah Thompson, M.D.
righter@therighter.com

We have archived another article which compliments this page's Sarah Thompson piece - it is written by Gene Flick, MD, a Psychiatrist - "An open letter to the American Psychiatric Association"
    Share/Bookmark

"You don't need to have a gun; the police will protect you."

"If people carry guns, there will be murders over parking spaces and neighborhood basketball games."

"I'm a pacifist. Enlightened, spiritually aware people shouldn't own guns."

"I'd rather be raped than have some redneck militia type try to rescue me."

How often have you heard these statements from misguided advocates of victim disarmament, or even woefully uninformed relatives and neighbors? Why do people cling so tightly to these beliefs, in the face of incontrovertible evidence that they are wrong? Why do they get so furiously angry when gun owners point out that their arguments are factually and logically incorrect?
How can you communicate with these people who seem to be out of touch with reality and rational thought?
One approach to help you deal with anti-gun people is to understand their psychological processes. Once you understand why these people behave so irrationally, you can communicate more effectively with them.

Defense Mechanisms

Projection
About a year ago I received an e-mail from a member of a local Jewish organization. The author, who chose to remain anonymous, insisted that people have no right to carry firearms because he didn't want to be murdered if one of his neighbors had a "bad day". (I don't know that this person is a "he", but I'm assuming so for the sake of simplicity.) I responded by asking him why he thought his neighbors wanted to murder him, and, of course, got no response. The truth is that he's statistically more likely to be murdered by a neighbor who doesn't legally carry a firearm1 and more likely to be shot accidentally by a law enforcement officer.1
How does my correspondent "know" that his neighbors would murder him if they had guns? He doesn't. What he was really saying was that if he had a gun, he might murder his neighbors if he had a bad day, or if they took his parking space, or played their stereos too loud. This is an example of what mental health professionals call projection – unconsciously projecting one's own unacceptable feelings onto other people, so that one doesn't have to own them.3 In some cases, the intolerable feelings are projected not onto a person, but onto an inanimate object, such as a gun,4 so that the projector believes the gun itself will murder him.
Projection is a defense mechanism. Defense mechanisms are unconscious psychological mechanisms that protect us from feelings that we cannot consciously accept.5 They operate without our awareness, so that we don't have to deal consciously with "forbidden" feelings and impulses. Thus, if you asked my e-mail correspondent if he really wanted to murder his neighbors, he would vehemently deny it, and insist that other people want to kill him.
Projection is a particularly insidious defense mechanism, because it not only prevents a person from dealing with his own feelings, it also creates a world where he perceives everyone else as directing his own hostile feelings back at him.6
All people have violent, and even homicidal, impulses. For example, it's common to hear people say "I'd like to kill my boss", or "If you do that one more time I'm going to kill you." They don't actually mean that they're going to, or even would, kill anyone; they're simply acknowledging anger and frustration. All of us suffer from fear and feelings of helplessness and vulnerability. Most people can acknowledge feelings of rage, fear, frustration, jealousy, etc. without having to act on them in inappropriate and destructive ways.
Some people, however, are unable consciously to admit that they have such "unacceptable" emotions. They may have higher than average levels of rage, frustration, or fear. Perhaps they fear that if they acknowledge the hostile feelings, they will lose control and really will hurt someone. They may believe that "good people" never have such feelings, when in fact all people have them.
This is especially true now that education "experts" commonly prohibit children from expressing negative emotions or aggression. Instead of learning that such emotions are normal, but that destructive behavior needs to be controlled, children now learn that feelings of anger are evil, dangerous and subject to severe punishment.7To protect themselves from "being bad", they are forced to use defense mechanisms to avoid owning their own normal emotions. Unfortunately, using such defense mechanisms inappropriately can endanger their mental health; children need to learn how to deal appropriately with reality, not how to avoid it.8
(This discussion of psychological mechanisms applies to the average person who is uninformed, or misinformed, about firearms and self-defense. It does not apply to the anti- gun ideologue. Fanatics like Charles Schumer know the facts about firearms, and advocate victim disarmament consciously and willfully in order to gain political power. This psychological analysis does not apply to them.)
