"EX- Seal Chris Kyle fatally shot at gun range".

I have gotten more information..Apparently to several sources, it was a vet suffering from PTSD that did the shooting.  I have edited my original posting...My Apologies for the erroneous information.

I read this on Yahoo while checking on what is going on in the world.  This screams "hit" to me.  I wonder if it was a money job or ideological.  The police have somebody in custody according to the article. and motive is unclear.   Well to somebody that used to read between the lines when dealing with the soviets, this tells me that this is politically embarrassing to somebody, that usually means in this case it is probably a religion of peace representative muslim and it was either a ideological hit or a money hit because of the bounty.  Watch how this unfolds.   I  honor his service to his country, Seals with the exception of Jesse Ventura are unabashed patriots and if I recall he was the one that decked Ventura after several slurs were made at a SEAL bar about the person being remembered "deserving it because of his service in Iraq".  I did see him several times on FOX talking to Hannity and I think Oreily.  SEALS like Kyle represents a fading image of the U.S Military, where merit is the only measure, the one that is not P.C. and geared toward diversity, all hail diversity.   If more people have more information, please let me know and pass it on.

GLEN ROSE, Texas (AP) — A Texas sheriff has told local newspapers that author and former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle has been fatally shot along with another man on a gun range.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Stephenville Empire-Tribune report that Erath County Sheriff Tommy Bryant says the 38-year-old Kyle and a second man were found dead Saturday afternoon at Rough Creek Lodge's shooting range west of Glen Rose.
The Star-Telegram reports that witnesses told sheriff's investigators a gunman opened fire on the men, then fled in a pickup truck belonging to one of the victims. Glen Rose is about an hour southwest of Fort Worth.
The newspapers say a 25-year-old man was later taken into custody in Lancaster, southeast of Dallas. The motive is unclear.
Kyle wrote the best-selling book, "American Sniper."
