I heard or read somewhere that the standard Rangers of that era weren't designed to deal will with ethanol. On the other hand, I have a "flexfuel" 2000 Ranger that I've had for eleven years, with no sign of fuel line issues. Will be watching this closer as the truck draws closer to its 20 year mark. Does anyone even make a decent small to mid-size pickup anymore? And I'm not impressed with the way the new full size ones look, so I may have the Ranger another decade or so (or swap it out for another used one).
