Military Humor

I am an Army veteran so we can make jokes at the Air Force.  They DO treat their people  way better and that is a fact.....although I and other veterans do consider them........well pampered comes to mind.  We will give them a hard time but woe to any civilian that tries to give them or anybody in the military any crap, unless they walked in our boots, they didn't earn the right to give any of us any grief.  I piled on some people that tried to talk crap praising the Marines and talk shit about the other service and I told them, "unless you are in the green weenie, you can't say crap about the other services, the marines will shut you down faster than I am, so you need to chill out with that shit before your mouth writes a check your ass can't cash".

I will also add another one that had made the rounds a few times and I had seen a copy of this at the flight operations hut at Katterbach Germany(Near Ansbach)

  1. I spent many, many great times with all three branches during my career, and we teased the hell out of each other, but it was all fraternal. I had USN attached to my unit during the first desert war; I trained with USA units and went to their schools while stationed in USAFE (the USAF version of USAREUR) over 10 years, and had quite the time with USMC infantry while training with them on one of their forays into Texas, trying to find a new place to train that would not put the whole town off limits to them.

I've had civilians ask me over the years why we are so 'cruel' to each other, to which I replied, "it's how we hug..."

    Thanks for the laughs, brother!

Try plugging an electric shaver into a 120V 400hZ outlet. LOL, and to think he made that cord special. I've watched grenades explode with less vigor.

Fact. That's most businesses these days as well.

My favorite in Honduras was "We the unwilling, led by the unknowing, doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We've done so much for so long with so little, we can now successfully do anything with nothing." 28 flight days a month, usually starting at 3 or 4am, and I did it for 696 days. I'd go back tomorrow :-)
