Kyle Rittenhouse Victory is a Victory for all of US.

 

 

 If Kyle had been found Guilty, it would have made any Self Defense claim much harder to prove because prosecutors would have used the legal precedents set by the Rittonhouse trial to try any of us especially if we tried to defend us our family against the "Soldiers of Soros" A.K.A BLM or Antifa when the next time they throw a temper Tantrum and decide to loot, Burn, assault and murder in furtherance of the goals of the state and the donks.

 

Over the past two weeks, I found myself overly invested - perhaps even a bit obsessed - with the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Like all or most of you, I watched in horror as a corrupt prosecution team actively tried to put a teenager in prison for life for the ‘crime’ of defending himself against lunatics who were actively trying to kill him during a violent riot that should never have happened in the first place. Though they had zero actual facts on their side - a fact that became increasingly obvious as the trial progressed - these denizens of hell still pressed on, tossing theory after theory against the wall and hoping one would stick and manipulate, er, ‘convince’ the jury to falsely imprison a clearly innocent person.

I was so invested, in fact, that at times it almost felt like I was the one on trial. At those points I felt guilty though, because I would imagine what it must be like to have your actual life on the line, your fate to be decided by a jury who also had an ear toward that mob outside who, like the real mob, likely had every intention of harming them and their families if the ‘wrong’ decision was made. What must it be like to face the prospect of life in prison not because of anything you actually did wrong, but because crazed leftists bullied your peers into finding you ‘guilty’ to save themselves? It had to have been pure hell.

No, I wasn’t personally facing anything close to the horror that Kyle Rittenhouse faced, at least not yet. However, the reason I and probably others felt that way was because a key aspect of our worldview - the notion that human beings have the right to defend their property and themselves against violent aggressors - certainly was also on trial. And the left knew it. Last week, Fox News host Tucker Carlson horrifying described the “whole point” of that bogus prosecution:

"So no one with a concealed carry permit is allowed to defend himself? What’s the point of having a gun if you can't save your own life with it? Well, that’s exactly what they’re telling you. They’re telling you you don't have that right. You have no right to resist. That’s the whole point of this whole proceeding. So the next time BLM sweeps into your town, your neighborhood, your house to burn and loot and brandish weapons, you had better not try to protect yourself or your family. Try to protect yourself or your family and we will charge you with murder, and while we’re at it we’ll have the national media call you racist."

Tucker is spot-on, of course. For me, watching this whole trial play out has led to a lot of self-reflection. We can argue about his age, the weapon he brought, and whether or not he should have been there in the first place. But if BLM and Antifa thugs came to my town to loot and burn instead of protesting peacefully, I would hope I would have the courage to get out there and defend my community like then-17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse did. I would imagine most readers of this column would agree. But the left not only wants us to stay home and let these jackals burn our cities and towns, they want to punish us if we resist.

And make no mistake, that’s exactly why what happened to Kyle Rittenhouse happened in the first place. No prosecutor with any sense of real justice would have ever put a defendant through a trial - and the very real prospect of losing their liberty - based on the facts in that case. But they did, and judging by some reports on the nature of actual discussions going on in that jury room, they came uncomfortably close to winning or at least getting another shot at the apple with a mistrial.

 

During the days the jury was deciding Kyle Rittenhouse’s fate, I found myself checking my phone every hour or two. The longer it took, the more nervous I became. Yes, mostly nervous for that poor kid who was at risk of losing his life for nothing, but also nervous for the precedent this would set for future heroes forced by the insane left to defend their lives with lethal force. Are we seriously going to live in a society where we have to weigh defending our own life and those of our families with the prospect of going to prison? And even beyond that, when we start imprisoning people who use guns in self-defense, the next step is banning those guns entirely. After all, what would be the point?

 

 We all know how this particular story ended. Thankfully, evil didn’t win. Not this time. This time, sanity won. This time, if only for a few hours or days, the balance of universal justice, of common sense, of nature’s law, prevailed. Yes, Kyle Rittenhouse gets to live his life, hopefully as a rich man at the helm of MSNBC (you know, after he ‘owns’ them in a massive lawsuit). It was his victory first, and a well deserved one at that. But it was also a victory for all of us who care about preserving the God-given right to defend ourselves against violent aggressors who would do us harm.

I have noticed that people are waking up from the lies from the media, they have pushed it so hard that people that normally don't get involved are getting involved and they are getting pissed because they realize that they were lied to and they are not "Happy Campers" and this bodes ill for the Donks because people that are aware are difficult to put asleep again.  It is like in the matrix, once you realize that you are a "Duracell" battery, it is hard to go back to be ignorant.

You know, a few more rampages by inept alleged “white supremacists” like Kyle Rittenhouse – he only managed to shoot white criminals! – and everybody is going to be thoroughly awakened to the reality of the leftist scam. The trial that followed the Kenosha Kid’s act of social hygiene constituted only one tab in the big bottle of scarlet pills America’s been force-fed lately. Others include being confronted at work with mandates for vaxes that don’t act as advertised, as well as being inundated with racist CRT garbage, and having one’s kids come home from school with creepy porno crap that makes you wonder if they hit up the Lincoln Project lending library.

There are more pills going on than in Hunter’s medicine cabinet.

Why the festival of figurative pharmaceuticals? Because the left got out over its skis. It went too far, too fast, and now normal folks who just want to live their lives and usually show no interest in political/cultural controversies are showing up at school board meetings asking why the hell their kids are accusing them of slavery. Combined with a crusty old pervert in the White House who is causing economic inflation and international humiliation, and the left is in trouble. Deep trouble. See, the truth is getting out despite the media’s lies. Its pet political party is looking at being demolished next November. But instead of slowing down and taking stock, the Marxists are doubling down on failure knowing they only have their micro-majorities for a year. This genius strategy got them Glenn Youngkin and will get them many more based pols who are many times more hardcore.

It is only going to get worse for them, which means it is only going to get better for America.

Remember, leftism only succeeds when surrounded by a fog of lies. When the fog lifts, people reject it. And the media pumped out all the fog it could. There were people who literally did not know the collection of criminals and/or perverts Kyle exorcised were as white as Mitt Romney at a Cure concert. Really. That was the media’s doing, lying that the only reason Kyle didn’t want to have his brains bashed in by these scumbags was his pallor and reporting that nonsense accordingly. But when people watched the trial, they saw something entirely different from what they had been fed by the Enemy of the People, and it stuck. People were shocked – not people like us who are fully woke to the fact the media is nothing more than a collection of semi-literate, poorly-paid hack transcriptionists for the liberal elite – to see that they were being lied to, and hard. Not little lies. Not careless errors. No, these were calculated, intentional lies designed to push the party line. And their lies were revealed to all in that Kenosha courtroom.

The liberal champions were Binger and Lunchbox, the Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dumbass of assistant DAs who were incompetent when they weren’t straight-up lying. And people saw it all. Normal people, the kind who used to have some faith in the people in charge of the system.

Now they are like us. They got woke.

In this, MSNBC did yeoman service – wait, is Joy Reid going to shriek that I assumed the gender of a yeo? Now, few people except communists, masochists, and people who can’t find the remote, watch that festival of cable onanism, so the big effect was not from its non-stop parade of ridiculous people crying about Kyle. No, it was these dummies’ decision to get caught stalking the jury in what was clearly an attempt to dox the jurors. Normal people may not know the statutes and code sections, but they have an understanding that you don’t mess with a deliberating jury. Congrats, MSNBC – you have amazingly managed to drive the reputation of the media even lower, and we thank you for it. We will not be happy until you have alienated every patriotic, non-pinko American!

You know who saved Kyle, and us? It was normal people who got woke to the lie, the jurors. They saw the evidence, or rather, the total absence of it. They deliberated for nearly 24 hours. They asked to review video. They asked to examine copies of the instructions. They – and even I was too cynical to see this coming in an era when every single institution from Hollywood to the Marines has failed us – did their job.

Whoa.

And Americans all over are doing their job, which the left hates. They are confronting school boards. They are voting for patriots. They are organizing. They are pushing back. Right now, the polling for the Democrats is positively gruesome, like that one guy’s bicep. It’s because people are getting activated. They are not sitting on the bench. 2022 is going to be epic.

GOP, take note of the Kyle Rittenhouse phenomenon. Understand why people get angry at school board meetings. Hear the Blank Joe Biden chants. Learn the right lessons from them. Don’t start up with the chin-stroking crap about, “Well, Kyle never should have been there.” Baloney. Americans have a right to be anywhere they damn well please. It’s the dirtbag degenerates who don’t have a right to be there, burning and looting. They don’t have a right to burn and loot in peace. We have a right to be ticked off at CRT and other perversions inflicted on our kids, and if we are rude to bureaucrats, too bad. And who cares if fed-up people yell dirty words about Grandpa Badfinger? Stop clutching your pearls. Stop playing the left’s game because you think it might make you seem “reasonable” and avoid uncomfortable conversations at the country club. Take our side in the fight.

Take Kyle’s side. Take the parents’ side. Take the drunk college kids’ side. Take our side, or you’ll be pushed aside. Be based or be Liz Cheney – you pols are fungible and if you fail to perform there’s someone with testosterone who can replace you.

Stand strong and militant. We do not recognize any duty to not be anywhere because it inconveniences the military wing of the Democrat Party, and we do not recognize any duty to not legally pack heat in doing so. We do not recognize a duty to suck up to petty administrators and flunkies. And we’ll swear about that desiccated old freak if we feel like it. The GOP better get on board or we’ll toss it off the train.

The American people are waking up and taking their own side in this fight. Kyle. Virginia. Let’s go, Brandon. The GOP must be dragged into the next round of the fight, and it damn well better stop resisting us and start resisting the lef

 I snagged this off the NY Post editorial Page, I was kinda surprised to see it, but I agree with it, a lot of drama could have been avoided if the Legacy Media had waited for the facts to play out rather than run with an agenda that inflamed a lot of drama that got people killed and caused millions of dollars of property damage, I would love to find a way for some of these muckrakers to get charged with "inciting a riot" for the irresponsible reporting.  I really want to see Kyle go after the Media with lawsuits for slander because his life will never be the same, there will always be people gunning for him to "right the wrongs of Kenosha"

This is an example of the twitter post that I have seen,  and she is kinda mild for some of the vitriol that I have seen, you want to see what the Left thinks of you? go on twitter and Tiktok and you will learn, I hate wading through that sewer but forwarned is forearmed.  Also there was a Rapper that drove his SUV through a Christmas Parade and right now it is a tossup if it is the "Religion of Pieces" making an appearance, Driving through Christmas Parades is their "Thing" and they did it a few more times since that post, or it could be blowback to the Rittonhouse Verdict.  The fact is that there is no news released to who the guy is by the mainstream media tells me that it "Ain't a white guy", if it was, they would be trumpeting it long and wide because it supports "Da Narrative".

Not guilty on all counts: That verdict comes as no surprise to anyone who’d paid close attention to the Kyle Rittenhouse trial but may shock those who relied on horrifically biased media accounts.

Nearly all the early media tropes proved false: He didn’t bring the gun across state lines; he had major roots in Kenosha including his day job and much of his family. He wasn’t a militia-wannabe but an aspiring cop/firefighter/EMT.

Absolutely nothing suggests he was a “white supremacist,” as no less than Joe Biden claimed right before last year’s election.

And the men he shot were all attacking him when he pulled the trigger; all were white, and at least two had histories of violence.

None of this makes him a “patriot,” as ideologues on the other side insist. But the evidence for self-defense was rock-solid.

Some refuse to admit that. Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D.) released a bizarre statement that “no verdict will be able to bring back the lives” of the two men Rittenhouse killed, nor “heal the wounds” of the Jacob Blake shooting that triggered the riots nor remove the state’s need to work toward “equity.” Translation: I’m on your side, rioters: Please don’t riot again.

New York pols also treated the verdict as some kind of injustice, including Mayor de Blasio, who wants to free every criminal in Rikers but called the Rittenhouse decision “disgusting and it sends a horrible message to this country.”  

Maybe that’s because the haters stuck to their narrative for months, even as the trial exposed the core facts.

The worst — MSNBC’s Joy Reid, for one — will never let it go. You can see them practically begging for there to be riots, an incredibly irresponsible position for Kenosha and the nation. Let’s hope no one listens to them.

The rank, politicized distortions of fact here — and in so many other recent incidents — should teach everyone once and for all not to trust instant analysis or agenda-driven reporting. When the facts played out via the proper judicial process, common sense and truth prevailed.

May that lesson sink in widely, not least with the man in charge of upholding America’s institutions and leading the nation to unity.

Monday Music "Hysteria" by Def Leppard

 I am continuing my "What songs would i play if Sirius/XM let me host a segment for an hour and these are the songs that I couold play over and over again 3 or 4 times before continuing to the next song.  I will continue the *Boogaloo* theme after Christmas, that poor theme I had started November of last year and rode it hard like that little burro that carries the really fat lady down the grand canyon and back up again so it is still recharging in the pasture eating grass and grain before use it again.

This is one of my favorite "Def Leppard" songs.  I bought this album in both vinyl and CD.  Where I was stationed, we would go to "Robinson Barracks" in Stuttgart to visit the big PX, and for a while they had a hard time keeping this album in stock.   I rank this album along with U2 "The Joshua Tree" as the most iconic albums of the late 80's.  Def Leppard puts on a hell of a show, I saw them in Europe and from what I have been told, they still so.  Back then I had the "stupid" money to lay out for a concert but now my taste have changed, something about crowds I suppose and the cost.  I just can't see dropping the money they want for tickets in this day and age.   Next week I will run a song from the 70's, I already have one in mind ;)

"Hysteria" is a love song by the English hard rock band Def Leppard. It is the tenth track on their 1987 album of the same name and was released as the fourth single from that album in November 1987. On VH1 Storytellers: Def Leppard, lead singer Joe Elliott revealed that the song title came from drummer Rick Allen.

The mellow ballad features a clean guitar melody that is very reminiscent of "Goodbye Blue Sky" by Pink Floyd, and heavily multi-tracked vocals in its chorus. The "extreme" nature of producer Mutt Lange's recording methods is also exampled in the chorus, where the clean guitar chords were recorded one note at a time as opposed to the traditional method of strumming them, in effect "building" a chord by recording the notes that make them up as one would build a wall by stacking bricks upon each other one-by-one as confirmed by recording engineer Mike Shipley. An acoustic rendition of the song was performed by Elliott and guitarist Phil Collen on the Hysteria edition of VH1's Classic Albums.

Sorry about the delay in posting, I got really busy in *Meatspace* and between work and some stuff going on here, I didn't get a chance to post.

U.S Airforce Employee handed personal information to the German tax court resulting in a $300,000 Judgment

This gave me the chills when I read it, I was stationed there for 5 years from 1986 to 1991 and I had dealings with the German court system,hey speeding tickets add up.  I lost every one because I was an American and it didn't matter that a couple of them were bogus, I still had to pay, and JAG was no help, and from what I heard, I wasn't the only one with that problem.  The SOFA Agreement supposed to give us some protection from the local laws because we are Americans stationed there.  One of the things was we didn't pay the "Zolle" or fuel tax on the gas, I was already paying a dollar a gallon for super unleaded back then and a few other things that were tax exempt.  And another thing was the agent Dirk, makes me wonder where his loyalty was, to his job or to his homeland.  If I was his boss, I would find a way to can his ass, but to fire him in Germany is an expensive proposition because of the job protections they have.

     After reading this, it reinforced my attitude that we need to pull the rest of our troops out and send them to Poland or back to the States.  President Trump had the right idea but the Germans didn't want us leaving because we are a revenue source for them, ..hey someone has to pay for all the benefits for the "refugees" you know.  I have a bunch of good memories of Germany back during the Cold way, but after the Cold war, I heard everything changed and the Germans didn't want us there anymore.

STUTTGART, Germany -- The German tax collectors wanted to know it all: commissary expenditures, on-base gasoline purchases, visits to a Ramstein Air Base fitness center, discounted airline flights to the United States.

And special agent Dirk Roessling, a German employee of the U.S. Air Force's Office of Special Investigations at Ramstein, obliged in a five-page report that ended up being used against a U.S. military-affiliated family in tax court.

The report shows a U.S. military agency collaborating with German authorities to collect German income tax penalties on U.S. military paychecks -- a practice the State Department considers a violation of a multinational treaty.

"It felt like there was a mole on the inside," said the American, who worked as a military civilian at Ramstein under the NATO Status of Forces Agreement before moving to the U.S. in 2020.

Added his German wife: "They knew everything. I feel like they are Stasi people working there," a reference to the secret police of communist East Germany during the Cold Wa

The couple, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of being retargeted by collectors, are among an untold number of Americans connected to the military in Germany who have been financially ruined by local tax offices.

The amount they paid, much of it related to penalties connected to so-called base "privileges," was 248,452.99 euros, or roughly $300,000, the couple said.

The cooperation of the Air Force's OSI branch at Ramstein came to light after Stars and Stripes was provided a copy of the purchase records covering four years that Roessling sent the Neustadt finance department in 2018.

The Neustadt office is where Rheinland-Pfalz tax dispute cases are litigated.

The couple lost their case in tax court in Neustadt in 2020. The court determined that the American wasn't in Germany "solely" for his job and that he had no intention of returning to the U.S., where he now lives, the family said.

Mike Goff, a retired Air Force senior master sergeant who serves as an advocate for the affected military community in Germany, said he was "astonished" that any U.S. military office handed over information about on-base purchases by a SOFA-protected American "to share with a foreign country's most feared agency."

U.S. Air Forces in Europe said in a statement that the Air Force Office of Special Investigations "does not comment on pending legal matters."

Roessling, the special agent who sent the report to the tax authorities, did not respond to a request for comment.

More than one year after the U.S. government lodged a diplomatic complaint that German finance offices are misinterpreting the SOFA in their attempts to tax military personnel, there is still no end in sight to what has become a revenue stream for some German garrison towns.

"At this time, we cannot get into specific discussions," a U.S. State Department spokesman told Stars and Stripes in a statement. "However, we can assure you that the U.S. government has expressed at very high levels our eagerness to see the long-standing issue resolved. We will continue to engage with our German partners on this matter."

In September, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told reporters during a visit to Ramstein Air Base that he was unaware of the matter but that he would look into it. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin raised his concerns with his German counterpart during a Pentagon meeting in June.

While diplomatic talks drag on, there are new questions about how much cooperation U.S. military investigators should give when German authorities pursue these tax cases.

The dispute centers on how to interpret the NATO treaty, which puts the pay and benefits of those with military visas off-limits to local tax collectors.

No other country with large concentrations of U.S. forces, including Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan and South Korea, has tried to collect income tax on military paychecks, which are already taxed by the U.S. government.

But some German authorities say the treaty leaves the door open to taxing Americans who have personal reasons for being in Germany.

Being married to a German, sending children to local schools or having lengthy tours of duty are some of the factors considered in tax liability cases.

Certain groups of military civilians, such as teachers, are especially at risk because their positions don't come with tour length restrictions, and they can spend their whole careers abroad.

For American personnel, getting into a tax battle with the Germans involves more than just pay. Finance offices use base amenities to inflate bills.

Things like access to discounted gas, Defense Department schools for children, tax-free shopping and free gyms are among the privileges that get factored in.

"This is what the (German finance offices) use to tack on upwards of 15,000 euros to our fellow Americans' income to squeeze more illegal money out of them," Goff said.

Both USAFE and U.S. Army Europe and Africa say they are unaware of requests by local tax offices for purchase records from base authorities for use in tax assessments against personnel.

That raises the question of whether German tax officials are approaching U.S. military investigators with felony allegations of tax fraud as a means of accessing the records, which can then be redirected to noncriminal tax dispute cases at issue in the SOFA dispute.

Under the SOFA, the military must provide information in certain cases, such as when goods are being sold on the black market.

The SOFA provisions also apply when a person or business is already subject to German taxation.

For example, the military would have to provide records pertaining to on-base concessionaires who are accused of not reporting income and purchases to German authorities.

Yet Ramstein's OSI office appears to have gone a step further, sending information on a military-affiliated family that it acknowledged in its letter to German finance officials had "full entitlement" to privileges.

The Landstuhl-Kusel finance office, which oversees matters in the Ramstein area, defended its methods.

In a statement, it said it seeks information for tax cases "based exclusively" on what is "permitted under procedural law" and provisions in the SOFA.

German authorities haven't revealed how much money they've collected from American personnel over the years or how many people have been targeted in all, but in the Ramstein Air Base area alone, there were roughly 400 cases as of last year.

Opposition is growing to the Un-American Vaccine Mandates

 I am having to fill out a petition at work for a waiver not to have to take the "Vaccine", at my place of employment, I have a job that pays exceeding well and I have to worry about losing that job because I am standing up on my principles on "Who Owns You" I am concerned despite the court order telling the Xiden administration that they overreached, he is telling companies to proceed anyway and most of them are proceeding despite the court order.  What is going on? why are all these companies rolling over and showing their bellies to the Xiden administration.  Does anybody have a spine anymore?

After two years of fear mongering from the country’s political, media and medical elite, President Joe Biden ordered a highly controversial COVID-19 vaccine mandate on September 9, 2021. He authorized the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to prepare these orders for businesses with over one hundred employees.

On November 4, 2021, OSHA officially announced the rules; however, enforcement was not set to begin until early in 2022. The orders require employees to take the COVID-19 vaccine or submit to weekly tests proving they are free of the virus. The businesses might have to terminate their best employees if they do not comply with these stringent requirements.

This was Biden’s most aggressive step to force Americans to take a vaccine, regardless of their age or health condition. It also mandated compliance regardless of whether employees were previously infected and had natural immunity.

Coupled with the continuing mask mandates and the ongoing restrictions on certain businesses, the American people must realize that the hyping of the COVID-19 pandemic is not going away anytime soon. Regardless of whether the number of hospitalized patients or virus-related deaths is increasing or decreasing, the corrupt elite need the pandemic to continue. Of course, American citizens in the grips of fear of COVID-19 are easier to control and manipulate.

The Biden administration is intent on forcing mandates on the nation, despite the economic cost. Already, our economy is suffering from the Biden administration’s horrific mismanagement. The country is facing soaring inflation, increasing gasoline prices, foreign energy dependence and a wide-open border with a massive surge of millions of people pouring into the country.

Instead of dealing with the country’s real problems and offering useful solutions, the Biden administration continues to focus on its favorite issues: vaccine mandates and climate change action. No matter what issue develops, the Biden administration finds opportunities to advocate for more vaccine compliance and more green energy “solutions” to the “crisis” of climate change.

There should be little wonder why the poll numbers for Biden and the Democrats are plunging. This administration is not listening to the American people. Instead, it is forcing its unpopular agenda on the country.

Regarding the vaccine mandates, it is time the American people channeled the anger from the character Howard Beale, the anchor in the movie Network, performed brilliantly by Academy Award winning actor Peter Finch. In the movie, he famously encouraged people to open their windows and yell, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!”

The American people should not meekly accept our federal government trying to force citizens to take a vaccine against their will. The mantra, “my body, my choice” should apply to vaccines. In this country, medical privacy should be the guaranteed right of every American citizen. Whether we take a COVID-19 vaccine or not should be no one’s business, especially the federal government. These actions are hallmarks of communist dictatorships, not a 245-year-old constitutional republic like the United States of America.

 

Fortunately, there has been noteworthy progress in recent days. For example, the new commander of the Oklahoma National Guard, Army Brigadier General Thomas Mancino, informed the 10,000 troops under his authority that he will not be enforcing the COVID-19 vaccine mandate ordered by U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. The order impacted all branches of the military, including the National Guard in each state.

Mancino made the announcement the day after his appointment to the position by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, who had already requested that the Defense Department end any type of vaccine mandate on the members of the Oklahoma Army and Air National Guard. Stitt called the mandate “irresponsible.”

General Mancino will not enforce the mandate on the Oklahoma troops despite the Defense Department’s order to “discipline and ultimately discharge (non-vaccinated) servicemembers.”  This protection will only extend to the Oklahoma National Guard members while they are under state command, not when they are under the authority of the federal government.

In his reply to these actions in Oklahoma, Pentagon spokesperson Admiral John Kirby, stated that Secretary Austin will respond to the Governor of Oklahoma “appropriately.” He claimed that Secretary Austin believes that the vaccine mandates make the country’s armed forces, including the national guard units of each state, “a more ready force.”

Along with the decision of the Oklahoma National Guard Commander, the opponents of the vaccine mandate secured a major victory in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. On Friday evening, the court delivered a huge defeat to the Biden administration, which will not be able to proceed with plans to force businesses with over one hundred employees to mandate COVID-19 vaccines or weekly testing for their workforces.

According to the judges, the mandate most likely “violates the constitutional structure that safeguards our collective liberty.” The judges also claimed the mandate “grossly exceeds OSHA’s statutory authority,” and is “staggeringly overbroad.”

The decision was a powerful strike against the Biden administration’s aggressive vaccine plans. In one section of the decision, the three judge panel accurately noted the economic costs that would be imposed on American businesses, “The Mandate imposes a financial burden upon them by deputizing their participation in OSHA’s regulatory scheme, exposes them to severe financial risk if they refuse or fail to comply, and threatens to decimate their workforces (and business prospects) by forcing unwilling employees to take their shots, take their tests, or hit the road.”

These employees would “hit the road” only because of their stance on vaccines, not their work performance.

The mandate would have impacted eighty million Americans, about two-thirds of the private sector workforce in the country. According to Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, who participated in the lawsuit against the Biden administration, “The Court’s action not only halts Biden from moving forward with his unlawful overreach, but it also commands the judicious review we sought.”

Let us hope this upcoming “judicious review” will put a stake in this un-American vaccine mandate for the last time.

 

Monday Music "Going Down To Liverpool" By the Bangles

  

 I am still giving my Bugaloo Muse a break for a couple more weeks, as it fattens itself up some more in the pasture after being rode hard for a year.  

I always liked the Bangles (Besides being hot, I am a guy of course)  I considered them very talented musicians...to the scale of Meatloaf? or Fleetwood Mac or KISS or AC/DC...No......But way better than that douche-nozzle bieber or some of the other clowns that keeps making the news nowadays for various escapades.


"Going Down To Liverpool" is a song written by Kimberley Rew for his group Katrina and The Waves, although best remembered by a cover done by The Bangles. The song was first released on the band's 1982 EP titled Shock Horror! (with the band then simply named The Waves) and also included on their 1983 debut album Walking on Sunshine, which was only released in Canada. The version included on both releases featured Rew on lead vocals.
When the band signed with major label Capitol Records, the song was re-recorded with Katrina Leskanich on lead vocals and included on their 1985 self-titled album . Although never released as a single, it was featured as the b-side of two of the bands' singles, Plastic Man and their breakthrough hit Walking on Sunshine.

American female band The Bangles covered the song on their 1984 major label debut album All Over the Place. The song features lead vocals by Debbi Peterson and it was released as the album's second single, one of only two singles with Peterson on lead vocals, the other being "Be With You". The song had been introduced by a friend to Vicki Peterson, who immediately liked it and urged the band to record a cover.
The single failed to chart in the USA, and became a very minor UK hit in April 1985, peaking at #79. The single's b-side was the album track Dover Beach, while the 12" single featured three songs from their Bangles EP on the b-side.
When the band found success with their subsequent album Different Light, "Going Down To Liverpool" was re-released as a single in the UK and Ireland in 1986, after the release of "If She Knew What She Wants", with new cover artwork and featuring the Different Light album track "Let It Go". This time the single fared better but still only became a minor hit, peaking at #56, while it became a top 40 hit in Ireland peaking at #21.

 The music video for the song, directed by Tamar Simon Hoffs, features the band inside a car being driven around by a chauffeur, who appears to be unimpressed by the group (at one point he turns off the car radio, stopping the song). The car stops inside a tunnel and the girls walk towards the end of it, which cuts to the band playing and dancing over a red background. Leonard Nimoy played the part of the chauffeur; this came about due to a college friendship between Susanna Hoffs and Nimoy's son Adam. 

 

Minor Addendums...

 I returned to work yesterday after my bout with "Covid", I am still kinda tired, but I have this week to file my objections to the vaccine at my employer, I have medical, religious, moral and ethical; and I have a week to get my objection in before the window closes.

   I watched a classic on "Prime" last night, the movie is called "The Warriors", the movie came out in 1979 and I tuned into it later.  The Movie has become into a cult classic, everyone pretty much recognizes it..."Can you Dig it......"

For someone as old as I am and older, New York had a reputation as a "Sewer", that it very recently returned to for all the graffiti and crime(Thanks Donks and DeBlasio), but watching that movie is a blast from the past because it is a reminder of what the late 70's was like for those of us that were around back then, it was the best of time and the worst of time if you know what I am saying.

  So my Precious would be under cover when I am not driving her, the dang trees are tough, I had a heck of a time cleaning her up when she sat for a couple of months, and I don't want to repeat that.

 Several things went on, I installed new plugs and wires on my truck trying to get it to pass emissions and I still was having problems, I kept getting the dreaded Cylinder#7 misfire.  I went and changed the coilpack

   Still had the problem, so at this time, I made an appointment with the shop, I couldn't keep shotgunning parts at the truck and hope I fix the problem,.  Well I nursed the truck to the shop and it cost me $125 shop time for them to tell me I had the wires out of sequence.  Da hell?  I had checked the firing sequence, and a friend of mine checked the firing sequence and we were sure that we were spot on, but I picked up the truck and it worked fine.

 

      Next step was the intake system as I reverted it back to original, I kept getting MAF sensor codes after installing the Cold Air Intake on my truck.  My son and I had gone to a junkyard and picked up several items including a complete factory intake really cheap.  We also had offered to stay and make a witness statement when a person in front of us tried to steal several items then tried to run over the employee with a golfcart trying to get away.  Some people....

After getting my F150 to pass emissions, (3 more years until exempt) Yay !!. I went ahead and 

 

handled the rear door, apparently it is a bad design prone to breakage. I have repaired them before. First time I replaced the cables$$$, then I found this cheap fix on ebay,

 

 but the latest fix, they had on amazon. Installed the replacement "cap" for lack of a better word,

  This metal piece replaces the plastic piece that seems to tear up and fall apart, it seems to be endemic of all extended cab trucks.

 Next project is battery clamp I noticed when I had the truck seem to shut out on me and I couldn't figure out what the problem was.....

  And the bad thing was that I changed that clamp a year ago...go figure

I removed the old clamp, 

 

 

I cleaned the terminal, removing any old corrosion using a "scotchbrite pad I had to cut the old clamp off with a set of dykes,

 

I then I peeled and stripped the insulation back a bit, attached the new clamp to the positive wire, 

 

then I stuck a pair of needle nose pliers through it to spread it apart, then I attached it to the positive terminal and using a brass hammer to seat the clamp.

 You know you are good when the hood light illuminates. 

 

 I finished securing the clamp to the terminal. Then using the corrosion Inhibiting Spray, I coated the terminal and the wire, 

 

I waited a few minutes between coats to allow setting time. Then I cranked the truck and then spent 10 minutes while the truck was idling trying to remember how to set the clock on my radio, lol. 

I had done this before coming down with the kung-flu....again...... This is my second bout. I got sent home late last week for popping "Positive" on the weekly test I have to endure as one of the "Great Unvaxxed". 

 

Me wrapped up in a blanket that my wife had made for me from a bunch of my Boy Scout tshirts and a couple of my "Gun" T-Shirts that I can't wear anymore because I lost soo much weight. I had gone ahead and preloaded my blog a week out in case I got really sick. I got a little sick, I had been taking Zinc a lot as part of my daily vitamins, As soon as I popped positive, I started taking "Elderberries" and "Oscillococcinum" 3 times a day, and the symptoms were not near as bad the second time around, I was more tired and lost my appetite and ran a fever for a day and that was it. I am past the heaviest part of it, now I have to build back my strength. so we will see,

I saw this in the truck in front of me today, and I had to do a doubletake...I at first thought he was a proud "Biden supporter" until I read the sticker closer....Thought it was brilliant.LOL

    Stacy Abrams 2018 democratic candidate for governor and general bigot that sees "racism" in everything, and still believes that she should have been governor of Georgia but for "Racism".  She campaigned for the donks in Virginia, and was instrumental in getting the "All-Star" game pulled from Georgia to Punish the State for making it harder for the democrats to "harvest Votes" and steal the Election.

Also unless you were living under a rock...The Atlanta Braves won the World Series in game Six, both Teams played well, but this was Atlanta's year...Especially when the All Star game was stripped from us by the woke Commissioner because of our "Racist"Voting laws. and got sent to Colorado that had the same voting laws......I'm sure that made sense...somewhere. And when the Woke commissioner presented the trophy to Atlanta, both the fans from Atlanta and Houston both boo'ed him. Maybe it is showing that people are tired of the "Woke" bullcrap. And when the AllStar break happened, Atlanta was Subpar .500 for the season. 

     I got a new book I will be starting on after I finish Mack's  book I am almost done with that he loaned me.  I also got the "Grant" Miniseries the same time I got "To Rescue the Republic"  I always liked Grant and thought he got short shifted by History because he was an honorable man and expected everyone else to have the same ethics and they didn't.
