What a difference a century makes..NYC 100 years

I saw this on one of the newspapers that I read.  I thought it was pretty neat.

What a difference a century makes: Pictures of New York skyline from 1876 show how it has been transformed with skyscrapers

The future: From next year this is how we can expect to see the New York skyline with the Freedom Tower reaching towards the sky in place of the Twin Towers
The changes are shown in a startling composite picture of the skyline over the decades, starting with 1876, going into 1932 and 1988 and finishing in 2013. All that remains from the hustle and bustle of the 19th century is the iconic Brookly Bridge which was just being built to connect the district with Manhattan.
