More thoughts on the Zimmerman trial and the aftermath....

I am reading the news and seeing all the demonstrations about the verdict and a thought came to me....(I know heresy,)  The people that are protesting are mad because they didn't get what they want.  For the past 5+ years they have gotten everything that they wanted facts be dammed.  Now a jury of 6 females in Florida said " NO"  they listened to the law and the Florida law is on Zimmerman's side.  Now the race hucksters and professional black grievance industry cranked up full bore for 16 months aided by a complicit media has injected race into what would have been a straight up justifiable self defense claim.   Now they have been told " no" and they are enraged...kinda like a kid that has been getting everything they wanted for 5+ years and all of a sudden being told " NO".  The progessive left has lost their religion to use a phrase that we in the south use to describe someone that has gone totally cuckoo for cocoa puffs.
Now you have noticed for the past 40 years that there has been a concerted effort to identify people by group dynamics and group think.  We are black, white, hispanic, pacific islander, eskimo, indian(feather not dot)and the hyphenated American think became vogue.  I remember a phrase that Teddy Roosevelt used to describe hyphenated Americans "“In this country we have no place for hyphenated Americans..  To expand on this :“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”  Now for the past 40+ years there has been group think pushed and group rights pushed...not individual rights.  This I believe by design.  Our rights that are granted by our creator  and enshrined in the bill of rights are .....wait for it.....INDIVIDUAL rights....Government can't give them or take them.  Our constitution codifies our natural rights and the government's job is to protect them.  With group rights, they are granted by governments...look at affirmative action...that is a group right...and what a government givith...the government can taketh.  there are no guarantees
.The constant drumbeat of strife is encouraged to keep us divided and at each others throats and the people that are stirring this up...for example was Eric Holders Department of Justice that sent people to organize anti Zimmerman protest to circumvent the rule of law down in Florida.   You think this was by accident?  this is to follow an agenda, if we are squabbling, people will then look for Big Brother to punish the other people that don't agree with you.  If we turn to big brother to resolutions, then we will surrender some of our individual rights and individual sovereignty to the government.   This has been a plan of the progressives since Woodrow Wilson who started the modern progressive movement.  More government control, let the elitist and other people lead us to this great socialist utopia that is just down the road if we would just do what our "betters" tell us to do since we live in "flyover country" and am not enlighted like they are.
Now this image is used to describe forward thinking....by their ideology.  Now the reigning Obama Junta( I use Junta to describe what the current administration is doing.  The actions that they use are out of what a 3rd world country would use, like using the organs of the government to attack their political opponents.  Like the IRS going after conservative groups, and having found out that after the elections, somebody in the IRS leaked Mitt Romney tax information along with his donor list..I bet they got audited.  Using other sections of the government to go after everybody else...like the DOJ...supposed to be neutral....not under Obama.  How about the DHS targeting Veterans....You think that was by accident?   It is by design.  It is called "VEAGLE" a play on veteran and Eagle.  This is used to profile vets for possible anti government beliefs.  Veterans have the skill set to make things tough on people that try to enslave other people.)

The people behind the scenes will continue to pit Americans against Americans so we don't pay attention to what they are doing.   Who is pulling the puppet strings....who would benefit from all this strife?   When you know who would benefit..than you will know who is pulling the strings.

What are you going to do...?

I got this from JPFO.

The author makes a valid point.   I have a feeling that this summer will burn kinda like 1968 did.  With the divisive election with Obungler, the Trayvon Martin shooting, the retaliations by the blacks against the whites, those incidents are being buried by the media because it doesn't support their agenda.  This summer will be a powderkeg and I have a feeling that those that are prepared will do alright, and those that are not will be the ones hurt or worse when the cities erupt.   I am not trying to sound like an alarmist but the signs are there from the past 3 years of divisive politics, the OWS idiots and this summer will be warmer than normal.  This will be a recipe for an explosion of anger.  It will take either a verdict of "not guilty" and the urban segment will explode.  Or if Obungler loses, the cities will explode.   It will be a trying time for us as a nation.

Moral conscience is in dwindling supply in this nation. Our bankers are thieves, stealing TRILLIONS because they are allowed to do so. Nearly all of our politicians are venal, lying parasites who a century and a half ago would have all had their heads lopped off by rage-fueled mobs.
A growing proportion of our citizenry behave like hyenas, jackals and vultures at the slightest opportunity. Our nation has been invaded by twenty million illegal aliens.
Only a fool can’t see that we are headed for a potential showdown.
To those who will listen, it’s time to take a look in the mirror and ask yourself: “What am I going to do as this societal and fiscal decay continues to its logical end?”
You need to evaluate what you can independently do for yourself, quietly on your own, in the coming weeks and months? And I mean for just yourself, not your mate, family, friends, or neighbors. You’ll be of no help to any of them unless you’ve got your own base well covered first.
The most fundamental expansion of your personal power is to acquire the tools, and achieve the skill to have the means and wherewithal to defend against one, several, or even a dozen other human beings. The legally safe term is “self defense”, but when the code red light starts flashing, and your options are coming at you with overwhelming intensity, you will shift into the bone chilling animal presence of your primitive ancestors. But you MUST have the tools and a modicum of skill.
Most of The United States is unique in its stubborn persistence in actually preserving, and even expanding, the individual’s unalienable right to meaningful and justifiable self defense. The Second Amendment does not mean your right to squirt someone with pepper spray. It preserves your right to, under certain life-threatening circumstances, apply emphatic lethal force.
But let’s step away from political theory and extrapolate the situation to everyday life. That stranger you confront in the parking lot late at night.
The group of “youths” you run up against if you stroll a block too far into the “bad” side of town. The guy on the park bench watching you jog past.
The weird driver tailgating you on a desolate stretch of road. The knock on your door and someone you do not recognize standing outside waiting to confront you for one reason or another.I’m asking you to either prove or disprove your sanity here: Would you rather deal with these mundane issues armed, or would you rather simply take your chances? This isn’t “Leave it to Beaver” America anymore, friends.
This is now an America that has lost its way, a nation drifting in “situational morality” and where theft is called “redistribution of wealth”. Pre teens beat innocent people to death, and laugh and giggle as though it were a day at the playground.
Are you going allow yourself to remain defenseless? Are you going to be left staring at your cell phone (if you have time) as your 911 call is ignored because of massive overload?
Are you going to be a survivor, a potential protector of the innocent? Or are you going to be a Darwin Award Candidate, too stupid to even provide for your own survival?
Let’s cut to the chase. In my opinion Barrack Hussein Obama is going to be re-elected. This nation has become addicted to socialism. It will be Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton sashaying into the White House when the smoke has settled.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME to wait to see this actually happen to buy a gun or seriously stock up on ammunition. You have to act immediately. You must behave as though you have only a week from the time your read this to get your act together.
The rush is on for handguns. As I write this, Ruger and Smith & Wesson have BOTH suspended taking new orders because of an unprecedented six month backlog. Expect other quality handguns to be fetching record prices. It’s just supply and demand.
So let’s turn to the lowly shotgun in the “if you could own only one gun” debate. NOTE: This evaluation leans heavily on keeping within a tight budget.
A reliable pump shotgun is the gun to own if you could own only one gun. This is for home defense or for tossing in the back of your car in the event of social turmoil. Eight rounds of 00 buckshot skipped across the pavement and into the shins of a mob can be a very significant behavior modification device.
In my town the price of a Mossberg 500 pump (holding up to eight rounds) is less than $300. A box of five 00 buckshot is $4.50 (see photo) and a 25 round box of standard shot is $4.99. Do the math. Compare the cost to a handgun of significant caliber or a rifle of significant caliber along with ammo.
For less than $400 you can be seriously prepared with a shotgun. Practice with the bird shot and only try out the buckshot to get a feel for any difference in recoil. What’s also important is the reliability of a “thrift” shotgun.
The somber fact is that handguns are generally more difficult to hit something with than a shotgun. The “stopping power” of a 12 gauge round loaded with 00 buckshot is ruthless, and therefore preferable. As mentioned above, a street mob scenario presents no contest. A shotgun is just downright scarier to assailants.
Time for theorizing is over. Act now. Do what you can, for yourself, immediately

London Olympics

I shamelessly borrowed this from here

If you want to see what a disarmed society looks like, look no further than England.

Thousands of angry, drunk, violent thugs running wild and stealing anything they can carry. Shopkeepers and homeowners crippled with fear, unable to defend their loved ones or their property. Innocent citizens forced to watch helplessly while their life’s dreams — everything they worked so hard to build and acquire — are carried out the door, or smashed to pieces, or burned to the ground.

Men, women and children forced to strip naked in the streets, while packs of criminals laugh and ridicule them before making off with their clothing.

The fact is, when British politicians stripped their citizens of their God-given right to self-defense, they robbed them of their freedom and their dignity.

Sales of baseball bats are up over 5,000% on Amazon.co.uk. This isn’t to mark the beginning of little league season. These are desperate homeowners and shopkeepers purchasing the best - and in reality, only - self-defense tool that the British government will allow them to own . . . at least for now.

If past is prologue, this flood of baseball bats into London will spark cries from government leaders for mandatory bat registration and a wave of new laws on how, when, and under what circumstances British citizens may carry or swing a bat. After all, this is exactly how British citizens lost their gun rights.

First came mandatory gun licensing. Next came a wave of restrictions on firearms ownership. Then came the outright gun bans.

It has been illegal to own a handgun in Britain for nearly 15 years. As a result, Britain’s violent crime rate has soared. In fact, Britain consistently clocks-in with the highest violent crime rate in all of Europe. Last week’s riots notwithstanding, you are six times more likely to be mugged in London than in New York. These are the inconvenient statistics that the gun-ban crowd likes to sweep under the rug.

As if banning handguns didn’t send a strong enough message to criminals that British citizens are ripe for the picking, the British government went even further in 1999.

Recall the tragic story of Tony Martin, the British farmer who was awakened one night to the sound of breaking glass and found two burglars in his home. Martin had been robbed six times before. This time, he went downstairs, retrieved a shotgun, and fired at the intruders.

For this, Martin received life in prison for killing one of the burglars, ten years for wounding the other thug, and one additional year for possession of an unregistered shotgun. The wounded burglar served just 18 months of a three-year sentence and was given $5,000 in legal assistance from Britain’s Legal Services Commission so he could sue Martin for violating his civil rights.

More news from across the pond

Like I have stated on many occasions, I get my news from Europe also, notably England and Germany.  This is an article from here
The same people that burning and rioting in London and other cities we have here, what will happen here when the government gravy train stops.........We have the same underclass that subsist and get their cash from government largesses.  What will happen when the freeloaders are told that they have to actually produce something more than crime and more freeloaders to get more "free stuff from the gub-ment"

A few weeks after the U.S. city of Detroit was ravaged by 1967 race riots in which 43 people died, I was shown around the wrecked areas by a black  reporter named Joe Strickland.
He said: ‘Don’t you believe all that stuff people here are giving media folk about how sorry they are about what happened. When they talk to each other, they say: “It was a great fire, man!” ’
I am sure that is what many of the young rioters, black and white, who have burned and looted in England through the past few shocking nights think today.
Manchester: Hooded looters laden with clothes run from a Manchester shopping centre
Rich pickings: Hooded looters laden with clothes run from a Manchester shopping centre
It was fun. It made life interesting. It got people to notice them. As a girl looter told a BBC reporter, it showed ‘the rich’ and the police that ‘we can do what we like

If you live a normal life of absolute futility, which we can assume most of this week’s rioters do, excitement of any kind is welcome. The people who wrecked swathes of property, burned vehicles and terrorised communities have no moral compass to make them susceptible to guilt or shame.
Most have no jobs to go to or exams they might pass. They know no family role models, for most live in homes in which the father is unemployed, or from which he has decamped

They are illiterate and innumerate, beyond maybe some dexterity with computer games and BlackBerries.
They are essentially wild beasts. I use that phrase advisedly, because it seems appropriate to young people bereft of the discipline that might make them employable; of the conscience that distinguishes between right and wrong.
They respond only to instinctive animal impulses — to eat and drink, have sex, seize or destroy the accessible property of others.
