"Its Just Business"......The SPLC Story

 

I have known for a while that the SPLC was phony, they have been scaring the crap out of black people for years using the "boogeymen" of the KKK, and other right wing hate groups, I knew that the KKK was flat broke, the SPLC broke those clowns in the 1970's, flat out bankrupted them, owned all their assets, everything.  You noticed that they faded away for a while...then all of a sudden they came back....with a vengence......Especially after Obungler got elected and it got worse after "Evil Orange Man Bad" got elected.  The Ferguson riots and Trayvon Martin were a godsend for the SPLC, it let them find the "boogeymen" again....and finance them.   and the donations started rolling in.....

For me, the SPLC revelations are simultaneously damning and completely unsurprising. I’ve been researching and writing about why people persist in believing things that simply aren’t true for a long time. It’s not just the SPLC, it’s most high-profile left-wing organizations that incorporate propaganda as one of their chief outputs. I became acutely aware of increasing SPLC discoveries of “racism” and “homophobia” during the G.W. Bush administration as need for a class wedge evolved. If you or your group was conservative, Christian, or even just leaned libertarian, you made their list.

The increases in the named groups that are enemies of the Democrat Party and the corresponding increases in funding as the names on their list increased is not coincidental. It is actually a business model.

Let’s not forget that model requires two things, the cynical bastards who to create the lies (that not even they believe) and push them into the popular mind, and the willing dupes who, with religious-like fervor, will believe anything regardless of how improbable or impossible it is, simply due to who or what the lie is aimed.

If you think there is a persistent tendency in American political discourse to treat ideology as a set of ideas to be tested against reality, you don’t get to pass Go or collect $200. That assumption breaks down when what you are actually dealing with is not ideology alone, but something closer to theology, an all-encompassing belief system that orders the world not by evidence, but by moral narrative.

Much of the contemporary American left operates in precisely that space, where politics is not merely about outcomes or policies, but about affirming a worldview rooted in opposition.

Every functioning system needs critique, skepticism, and competing priorities. What we are seeing instead is something more reflexive and less tethered to results, it is opposition as identity. If a policy, institution, or outcome can be associated with the “wrong” side of the moral ledger, be it capitalism, tradition, nationalism, or meritocracy, then it must be resisted, regardless of whether it is objectively working within the boundaries within which it was designed to operate.

This is where the theology enters from stage left. This is not about God or a god, but it exists in a very similar religious framework. In a traditional framework, outcomes are often secondary to adherence. The true believer does not measure truth by immediate results, but by fidelity to doctrine and the strength of beliefs remain even when the desired outcomes are not realized.

When that approach is transposed into politics, you get a system where success itself becomes suspect or illegitimate if it emerges from the wrong premises. A functioning market is recast as exploitation (capitalist competition is racist, right?) and effective law enforcement becomes systemic oppression (the ICE actions, particularly in Minnesota are good examples). Even declining crime or rising prosperity can be reframed as evidence of hidden injustice rather than indicators of success (think about the accusations of racism as DC’s crime rate fell).

Intellectually, doesn’t make sense. If a system is achieving its stated goals by reducing poverty, increasing opportunity, or maintaining order, it should at least earn a hearing on its own merits, but that requires a willingness to evaluate outcomes dispassionately and separate emotional reaction from empirical observation—precisely what an ideo-theological framework resists.

It cannot afford to concede that something it opposes might actually work, because doing so would undermine the moral architecture of the entire belief system.

So, the evaluation shifts from logical examination to emotional reasoning. The question is no longer “Does this produce good results?” but “Does this align with our moral narrative?” If the answer to the second question is no, then the first question becomes irrelevant. In fact, positive results can intensify the opposition, because they represent a threat. They suggest that the world is more complicated than the doctrine allows, that solutions can arise from sources deemed illegitimate.

This helps explain the immediate and compulsive need to locate failure, injustice, or crisis even in environments that are objectively improving. The system must remain morally flawed, not because it is, but because the belief system cannot stand if it isn’t.

The difference between intellectual consideration and emotional evaluation is stark. The former asks whether something works and why. It is the century old basis for using logic and facts to understand and solve problems, the basis for the scientific method.

The latter begins with a conclusion and works backward, filtering reality through a predetermined lens. In a way, it is a capitalistic model that recognizes a need, then finds ways to fill it.

In that, the SPLC is not alone, it is no different from the Human Rights Campaign. The HRC was the number one left-wing ally and funding source for same sex unions. When the Supreme Court decision about gay marriage came down, the donations dried up, so the HRC switched to advocating for transgenderism and the money started flowing again.

Likewise, SPLC saw an increasing demand for racism while supply of was dwindling (and the money drying up), so they started building white supremacy factories all over America.

Opposition is no longer a means to an end; it is just the business model.

"Creating Racism" where it don't Exist.

 Yes I snagged this from Bill O"Reilly again....This ties in what I have been saying, we are teaching a generation of kids that "Western Civilization" is evil and that our country is "Bad"   How can you have kids that are willing to believe in this country and defend this country if they believe that it "is bad".  This is the end result, who will fight for it?  If the Chinese invade, will they be willing "5th Columnist" that will knife their fellow Americans in the back because they were programmed since a young age to "Hate America", This is the danger we have with this "Woke Crap" that is being taught in school and people are afraid to call them out because the cancel culture is soo strong.  I am fortunate that my son is graduating high school and his political beliefs are set, but when he eventually have kids, they will go into the toxic miasma called the "education System" in this country, and I am not sure that Private Education is much better since they pull their teachers and curriculums from the same sources as the public schools.   

Imagine you are a third grader in the Wake County, North Carolina school district, the largest in the state.  All around you are children of different ethnicities and skin colors.  Your parents say that you are in school to learn things that will help you throughout life.

 

But there is something very wrong in your school.  Because you’re just nine years old, you may not fully understand what is being presented to you, at least by some teachers.  Their attitude about American society is hateful and this is being passed on to you.

 

According to reporting by the magazine City Journal, more than 200 North Carolina teachers attended a racially provocative conference, and the Wake County public schools have launched a campaign entitled “whiteness in educational spaces.”

 

Basically, some schools are forming “equity teams” that are pushing a concept called “anti-racism.”

 

According to documents obtained by journalist A. P. Dillion, teachers are being instructed that white “cultural values” include denial, fear, blame, control, punishment, and one-dimensional thinking.  Of course any group could have elements that embrace those things but for the Wake schools it’s exclusively a white problem.

 

In one teaching session, the argument was made that “whiteness perpetuates the (American) system of injustice.” Therefore, teachers should challenge the dominant ideology of whiteness and actually disrupt white culture in the classroom.

 

This incredibly racist point of view is not just on display among the “woke” in Wake County.  It has taken root all over the country.

 

The race hustlers who peddle this pernicious propaganda also advised teachers to disrupt any parent who might object have his or her child brain-washed.

“You can’t let parents deter you from the work,” City Journal quotes an instructor.  “White children are benefiting from the system.”

 

This is simply horrible.  Young children being taught skin color dictates their lives. Talk about creating division and bitterness.

 

But if you confront the educational bigots, you are immediately branded a bigot yourself.  You are canceled.   Loathed. Your reputation sullied.  This is the great far-left racist strategy.  Oppose us and we will destroy you.

 

Many public schools and colleges are now spreading a contagion far worse than Covid.  It is a poison that harms the minds of American students who should be taught the virtues of brotherhood and sisterhood.

 

Instead, many kids are getting lessons on the evils of “whiteness.”  For this illness, there will be no vaccine.

My apologies for not posting...I have been suffering from what could be called a "malaise of spirit" as it were.  I had run across this article and the taglines really stuck with me..The Italized is the quotes from the article I read and shamelessly cut and pasted....Hey I do that sometimes...But the article is linked on my post if you want to read the article for your viewing pleasure.

The race card is a very powerful card.

Peele is more vocal than most about his hiring policy, but his outlook is increasingly widespread. Dozens of producers, writers and actors have spoken to The Mail on Sunday about the wave of ‘reverse racism’ pulsing through the industry.

It’s not “reverse racism” it’s racism pure and simple. Africans can be racists and they are. Black Lives Matter is a racist organization.

speaking on condition of anonymity, the executive confirmed that the climate is now toxic for any ‘white, middle-aged man in showbusiness’. Their careers, ‘are pretty much over’.  They continued: ‘We’re only hiring people of colour, women or LGBT to write, star, produce, operate the cameras, work in craft services. If you are white, you can’t speak out because you will instantly be branded ‘racist’ or condemned for "‘white privilege’."

This is fucking great! I love to see the left eating its own and that is exactly what is going on in Hollywood. Guess what “middle aged white men”, you let this happen and now you are paying the price. Let’s see Hollywood produce movies only starring Africans. Won’t bother me a bit since I don’t go to movies anymore. I will love seeing all of those white liberal actors not getting cast in any movies anymore

 Sure I am enjoying the Hollywood leftist eating their own, there is a certain satisfaction watching that happen after watching that cultural trainwreck coming into the station, after seeing them screw over their country for 20 plus years by embracing the latest and greatest of the leftest causes  all of a sudden to find themselves on the outside looking in and wondering "what just happened" and realized that they are 2nd class citizens now.   But the realization for me is that what happened in Hollywood is happening all over the United States especially in Corporate America.  We have  the CEO of NBC stating that he is pushing to reflect 50% diversity hire in his company in new initiative's  and right now his company is a mix of men and women and he states that he wants to set a cap of 25% of white males in his company and if memory serves, it about 38% white males  so he will have to early retire them, or offer severance packages or outright fire them to meet his goal.  Now this practice will become more widespread as the wave continues and more companies will do the same practice and it will be acceptable.  Sure it is discrimination, but nobody will fight it because of "systemic racism(tm)"  and if somebody tries to fight it in court they will be committing career suicide and they will be toxic for any future employment, Tell me I am wrong in this present corporate environment.
      I am what is called a "Summer Chicken" as I like to joke, which means I have lived more of my life behind me than what is left to me and I am fine with that, but I am concerned what kind of life my son will have, being treated a 2nd class citizen in the United States.  I was at Sams Club picking up items for the spousal unit yesterday per her request, and my county is a "blue" county, it swung blue back in 2014 and voted for Felonia Von Pantsuit* in 2016.  Where I live in my county is still "Trump" territory, I call it "Roarks Drift" as a Tongue in Cheek reference, but while in Sams club with the mobs of people there were a lot of democrats and most of them were looking at me with hostility or what my friend *Shelldude* would call the "Fuck you look" I saw a lot of "Black lives matter shirts" and the "Enough is Enough" and the ever popular "I can't Breath". and I really didn't like this at all, it is a unfamiliar  sensation,  because as a rule I am very polite to people I nodded and smiled, No I didn't wear my Trump 2020 Hat, I didn't feel like provoking a confrontation and in the political arena, I would lose, even if I am in the right because the DA would suck and swallow to the mob. I push the envelope with my truck having the "deplorable Inside" sticker on the back  as it is.

But that is from 2016 but the rest of the stuff still marks me as a conservative so who knows...My son will graduate in 2021 and we will move in a few years, we don't know where we will go, I made jokes about moving to Texas but the Spousal unit wasn't happy about that suggestion, we would have to find employment out there.  We will move because we must, we cannot remain here, I do not want to stay here, for what  I fear is coming.   my friend *Shelldude*  is somewhat prescient had coined a phrase in the 90's "Balkenization" I fear that this is coming I have to look to move to a place where there is more like me for no other reason than for my and my wife's safety.  I never thought I would have to say that.  I in the 1980's thought we were past all this tribal bullshit, but Obama really got it stirred up and and it has bore fruit.
       All of this kinda put me into a funk.  It just came into a head, My creative energy was just kaput, I read my blogroll but I had no energy to put anything into the blog, I was bummed as they say. I would look at the keyboard and see nothing....and desultory tap the keyboard....tap.....tap....tap...then wipe the screen and close the screen and walk away....This sucks.
      On the flipside...with Hollywood having a meltdown there is room for independent productions to start making movies, with good quality content and not full of PC bullshit and if it sells well in the movies or on netflix or what have you, it may break the back or the stranglehold that Hollywood has on the movie industry.and the culture wars.  The last movie I saw was Midway and I considered it Pretty well done, overall, some minor glitches but well told. and some of those "woke" stars now that they have been burned and those conservatives that have been hiding, can come out of the closet, have nothing to lose can come out with the independents where merit counts and not how many checks you can mark off on a diversity card.
