Some Reasons Why Liberals are so annoying to Conservatives...

 I clipped this off "Bongino Report".  There are more to the list, but one has to subscribe and pay, and unfortunately I don't want to do that.  I tried to use "DuckDuckGo" to get around the Paywall but was unsuccessful, but half of the article was still a good article.

I don’t hate liberals, but I do detest liberalism because I view it like an infection. A human being can survive a small infection, with no problem – and the same is true of liberalism. It may sound strange for a conservative to say, but there are lots of wonderful human beings out there that are liberals. They’re nice people, they genuinely mean well and they’re pleasant to be around.

In my experience, however, like infections, liberalism can turn disastrous in a hurry once it starts to spread. The more politically involved a liberal becomes, the more miserable, insufferable, and toxic they often turn out to be. Even if you knew nothing about liberalism other than the effect it has on people, you’d know it’s a monstrous philosophy that smart people avoid like a case of monkeypox.

If you’re conservative, you are probably nodding along. If you’re not into politics or worse yet, a liberal who hasn’t been badly infected yet, you may not understand what we’re talking about. Read this column and you will get it.

1) Liberals insert politics into EVERYTHING: Sporting events? Business? Church? School? Thanksgiving dinner? To liberals, EVERYTHING is a brutal political struggle and sometimes it’s like, “Damnit Alyssa, I just want to enjoy this movie without hearing complaints that the film engages in cultural appropriation and the cast is too cisnormative for you. ”

2) The totalitarian impulse: Liberals love, love, love nothing better than the idea of writing a law in Washington, DC today and forcing everyone else in the country to obey it at gunpoint tomorrow. That’s why so many liberals were secretly ecstatic over COVID.  Having the power to decide whether people got to open their businesses or not, get a haircut or even go to the beach is like a wet dream for a lot of liberals. Many of them are attitudinally no different than the people that run China, but fortunately for us, unlike China, we have a Second Amendment that keeps liberals from going too far.

3) Pro-censorship: Because liberals have given up on proving that their ideas are good, they’ve increasingly embraced censorship. You know, it’s like that old saying goes, “if you can’t beat them, then try to make it impossible for anyone to find out that they have better ideas than you so that you win by default.”

4) They are baffled by gender: Matt Walsh famously did an entire movie called, “What is a Woman?” that revolved around the modern Left’s inability to answer that simple question. What they seem to have settled on is that your gender is whatever you decide it is, which makes absolutely no logical, scientific or common sense. The idea is that kids, who decide that they’re The Rock, Spider-Man, or a dinosaur one minute without being taken seriously, should be treated like the opposite gender the moment a boy takes an interest in My Little Pony or a girl likes football is madness. Allowing confused teen girls to have their breasts cut off or teen boys to have their penises carved up? It’s some of the most horrific lunacy happening on planet Earth. Once you get to the point where you falsely believe you can choose your gender, what can’t you choose? Can a white man choose to be black? Can you choose to be an ox? A coffee table? A planet? Napoleon? If not, why not? All of these things are equally ridiculous and the further we go down this road, the weirder it’s going to get – and newsflash… liberals have already gotten pretty freaking weird on this topic already.

5) Liberals have given up on convincing people their ideas are good: These days, liberals generally don’t even try to make a case for their ideas. Instead, they essentially say, “We’re the good guys and anyone who disagrees with us is a bad guy and our enemy. So, which do you want to be?” They’re not interested in debate, they’re not interested in alternative ideas, they just know that “good people believe what we believe and bad people don’t.” From there, everything else they say is just a backward justification to explain why the Mean Girls Club they’ve created is being victimized by the people they’re tormenting in the hallways.

6) Liberalism is a religion substitute: Devout liberals value liberalism above everything else. For liberals, it’s ahead of friendship, relationships with family, their job, their kids, and even God. Fanatics of any sort get on everyone’s nerves, but zealots screaming about Critical Race Theory, microaggressions, and drag queens are a special kind of hell.

7) Liberals just don’t care if their policies work: Liberals care a lot about how ideas SOUND and MAKE THEM FEEL, but not at all about whether they work or not. As a general rule, liberals are so indifferent to the success and failure of most of the policies they advocate that they don’t even bother to check. There’s certainly no one on the Left going, “Wow, it sure is disappointing that all the promises we sold Obamacare with weren’t true and the higher insurance costs it caused are hurting a lot of Americans, so maybe we should repeal it.” Instead. It’s more like, “Ha! We passed it suckers and if you don’t like that it doesn’t do what we said, too bad! No backsies!” Every liberal policy effectively ends up being Nancy Pelosi saying, "We [need] to pass the bill in order to find out what [is] in it." Of course, by the time you find out what’s in it, you’ve already taken the poison and they’re going to sit there cackling at you, twirling their bad guy mustaches and laughing about how you’re never getting the antidote.

8) Race obsession: Liberals constantly work to tear down the idea of a colorblind America and create the idea that everyone must be judged by their race first… well, except the white liberals, of course. They’re the “good white people” because they’re liberal, so they’re supposed to get a pass for the never-ending racial nonsense they foist on everyone else. Happily, it doesn’t always work out that way and even white liberals end up getting destroyed every so often by the race-obsessed Frankenstein monster that they’ve created.

9) So many liberals are blind to their own hypocrisy: It’s bizarre to see a liberal who has private bodyguards calling for gun confiscation, who flies overseas on a private jet talking about how we’ve all got to cut back on carbon emissions, or who complains about how awful capitalism is by tweeting on their iPhone. Some of this is certainly a, “Do as we say, not as we do sort of thing,” but a lot of times liberals seem to be genuinely oblivious to their own hypocrisy. For most of us, that would be impossible, but most liberals don’t understand the issues they’re talking about very well, haven’t spent a lot of time thinking about them, and haven’t even considered the other side of their arguments. So many of them are like monkeys playing with dynamite who don’t understand why the banana trees keep exploding.

10) Liberals trash America: The United States may not be perfect, but it is the most successful, prosperous, and dominant nation in all of recorded human history. Meanwhile, a bunch of people who can’t even manage a large city or college campus without it turning into a sh*tshow are constantly proclaiming how awful America is, mocking people who unironically love their country, and looking for ways to fundamentally transform it. There is absolutely nothing going on in say Berkeley, Chicago, or New Jersey that suggests liberals could come up with something better than the Founding Fathers did, but that’s not going to stop some dork with a drug habit, a psychologist, and personal pronouns from explaining how we need to be much more like some country that’s ten times less successful than we are.

The Chinese are learning to use our "Wokeness" against us.

 

Our enemies are using "our Wokeness" against us like I figured they would, I wonder and highly suspect that Chinese intelligence is paying or financing the activities of Antifa and other groups, because it is in their interest to weaken the United States.  President Trump was the first President in 20 years to stand up to the Chinese and not cave to them.  the Chinese view the 21st century as "Their Century" and they want the West and the United States to pay for what they perceive as their humiliations from the opium wars and other things from the 19th century to the present time.  You mix marxism with mandarism and you get the CCP in a nutshell.  The Chinese have been targeting the United States for the past 20 years, I remember when Bill Clinton sold the Chinese Missile guidance technology for a "Donation" to the Clinton Foundation, and the media didn't bat an eye because he was a democrat and the media back then covered for the democrats.  Now we have the Chinese stealing our technology from our universities, and they have been targeting our politicians, especially the democrats, apparently Dianne Feinstein had one on her staff and Eric Swalwell (D-Chinese) has been caught up in a honeytrap and he has the audacity to blame the GOP and President Trump...




Most Americans probably missed a bizarre event at the United Nations this month. At a U.N. Human Rights Council review on November 9, China joined several other nations in condemnation of America’s alleged racism and xenophobia. These nations included Western states like Australia and Switzerland, as well as well-known human rights respecters like Iran and Syria. China’s representative on the council, Jiang Duan, offered nine recommendations to the United States. All the points appeared plagiarized from Black Lives Matter.

  1. "Root out systemic racism, address widespread police brutality and combat discrimination against African and Asian Americans.
  2. Urge politicians to respect people’s right to life and right to health, and stop politicizing and stigmatizing the COVID-19 pandemic.
  3. Take holistic measures to eliminate rich-poor polarization and social inequality.
  4. Combat the increasingly severe religious intolerance and xenophobic violence.
  5. Stop incarcerating migrants, including migrant children, and guarantee the rights of migrants.
  6. Address proliferation of guns and guarantee people’s right to life.
  7. Lift unilateral coercive measures immediately and refrain from infringing upon human rights of people of other countries.
  8. Stop torture in anti-terrorist operations, halt military intervention in other countries and stop killing civilians in military operations.
  9. Stop interfering, out of political purposes, in other countries’ internal affairs under the pretext of human rights."
  10. China tells us to embrace open borders, neuter police, enact racial wealth redistribution, impose gun control, and eradicate our “racist” heritage to achieve a perfect human rights record. The Communist state has a . . . well, let’s call it a less than stellar human rights record. It’s a little hard to take seriously on this matter a state that operates actual concentration camps, but it’s also difficult to take the U.N. as anything other than an expensive joke. It’s an organization that does little to stop actual human rights abuses while lecturing Western nations on proper gender pronouns and the mythical wage gap.As should be obvious to any person with a room temperature IQ, China does not actually care about “systemic racism.” Neither does it care about Donald Trump’s tough immigration policies. It just uses these common left-wing tropes to deflect from its own human rights abuses. Point nine gives China’s game away. The ChiComs just want America to butt out of their affairs; they hope wokeness proves an effective weapon to accomplish that. Our chief global adversary is beginning to learn that wokeness may prove a valuable tool to undermining American power. China formally endorsed Black Lives Matter this summer. Yet even then, the Chinese fumbled this response. One government spokesman said “all lives matter,” which infuriated left-wing activists. The same spokesman had earlier tweeted “I can’t breathe” in response to George Floyd’s death. The Chinese aren’t fully up to date with woke demands, but the UN list shows they’re learning quickly.


At the same time, the Chinese actively suppress ethnic minorities and BLM at home. But that doesn’t matter to their propaganda goal. Many western liberals will likely fall for this nonsense if it means they can own Trump, conservatives, or “racists.” Many liberals and media outlets turned into enthusiastic China cheerleaders during the coronavirus outbreak just to stick it to Trump. The same could easily happen if China continues to “clap back” at America’s alleged “systemic racism” and police violence.  There will likely come a day when Chinese representatives point to police shootings, slavery, lynchings, or some other American sin when asked about their concentration camps and ethnic cleansing. The ChiComs will say America is far worse due to these crimes and our media will prove helpless to rebut these accusations. BLM claims America’s sins are worse than those of any other country; our liberals and journalists will never dispute that. Thus, China could easily come out looking like the real human rights champion thanks to our own ideological insanities.Wokeness is a vulnerability to America and the West. French President Emmanuel Macron, of all people, understands this. He recently accused English-language media of “legitimizing violence” against France with arguments that the nation’s “racism” and “Islamophobia” is responsible for Islamic terrorism, not the jihadis themselves. Macron’s education minister attacked intersectionality—a product of left-wing American universities—for encouraging Islamist separatism and undermining French values.Like China, al-Qaeda and ISIS have also shown support for BLM. America’s enemies get that wokeness is a weakness and love to exploit for their own advantage. 

Wokeness is a threat to our national security and it’s about time our elites recognized this.

Conversation on Facebook and our political system

 I have commented repeatedly that the people that want to gut our 2nd amendment rights are perfectly happy to let the government have guns and these people whom are statist and believe that the government is all knowing and all doing and is this benevolent master, they have this parent child relationship with the government.  I and many like me view government as a necessary evil and our founders put checks and balances in the system including the 2nd amendment to prevent the government from "getting to big for their britches" to use a southernism. 

 The elitist are pushing the latest shooting to try to disarm the American people, especially the middle class, the bulwark against the elitist that would try to rule be imperial fiat.  In a lot of countries, there are the very rich and the poor, there are no middle ground.  in those countries, the rule of law is the same, there is one rule for the rich and one rule for the "great unwashed".  The middle class is a check on the unfettered desires of the 1%ers that do desire to rule because they are "our betters".    I first heard of the 4 post of our political system from a now retired talk show host by the name of Neal Boortz.  After the recent shootings, this is a reminder of what can happen if tyranny disguised as the "caring liberals" makes an appearance.

  I had posted this back when I first started blogging.  I will repost since it is pertinent to today's discussions on government and overreach.   The 4 boxes of the American political system work like this:

      1.    The Soapbox :  I can stand on a soapbox and criticize the power structure and the politicians and not get thrown in jail and sent to a gulag or get asked "Where do you want your remains sent to?"

     2.  The Ballot Box:  I can vote for whomever I want without fear of being thrown into prison for supporting the "Wrong candidate" or being wrapped in a tire and set on fire.

     3.  The jury box:  I can feel confident that the rule of law will apply equally to everybody without regard to station in life. and due process isn't being asked "which ear do you want the bullet?

     4. Cartridge box:  You open the 4th one when the others are threatened and get the first 3 back.




I clipped this off faceplant,   

Liberal idiot stridently insists that the AR-15 round is uniquely powerful and terrible. I explain that muzzle energy is the commonly accepted metric for determining how powerful a round is. And that the AR-15’s .223 round has 60% less muzzle energy than the .30-06 and 30-40% less than other common deer hunting rounds.
Liberal idiot then insists that the .223 round is much deadlier because it’s much faster. I explain that the muzzle energy formula takes velocity into account and that the .223 has about the same velocity as most deer hunting rounds and is only about 10% faster than the .30-06.
Liberal idiot then insists that the .223 round is especially deadly because it’s a lighter round (!). Speechless, I start to explain that muzzle energy directly correlates to mass, so a round that’s half as heavy will have half the muzzle energy, assuming the same velocity.
Then I stop, bid him adieu and delete his messages. And hope my IQ recovers by Monday.
Folks, THIS is the degree of stupidity we’re dealing with. They literally know NOTHING about guns and aggressively refuse to learn even the most basic facts. We can’t reason with people who are intentionally and insistently uninformed. And any Republican Quisling who makes nice with these fanatics should be kicked out of the party.

Professional cuddling is booming....No I ain't making this up...

I pulled this off Drudge and Drudge got this off that leftist rag "Rolling Stones".  I used to read it back in the 80's back when it talked about music and trending events, but it wasn't overly leftist like it is now.    This is another article that ties in with my "ANTIFA" article that I am working on.  I will do several more I am sure.  This to me shows a death knell to our society, we have people so weak that they need this to handle the day.  How would they have handled the great depression or WWII?   This makes me doubt that American civilization will long endure with these pantywaists running things.

On a Saturday night in Venice, California, light spills from an open door on an otherwise dark street. The space appears to be an art gallery or studio: blank walls, cubbies for shoes and personal items and cushioned mats and pillows lining half of the room's hardwood floor.


Twelve individuals filter into the room – dressed in pajamas, yoga attire, sweatpants – some more confidently than others. There are a handful who remove their shoes immediately and find a place on the floor, blanket in tow, presumably preparing for some grand slumber party or group nap. Each visitor is greeted by a woman wielding an iPad. "Would you like a hug?" she asks.
Abhit Singh looks puzzled but welcomes the hug – this is his first time here. The woman offers Singh the iPad. He, like all other participants, must sign a waiver. She then instructs the group to take a seat on the cushions, her voice maintaining a steady and smooth timbre.
This room is called The Love Dome and hosts events including yoga, dance and private parties. Every Wednesday and Saturday night, The Love Dome is host to Cuddle Sanctuary, an organization that leads group cuddle events, professional cuddling and training for professionals. This is one of their group cuddle sanctuaries.

Fei Wyatt, the iPad-toting host, is Cuddle Sanctuary's Chief People Officer, a professional cuddler and certification program leader and the facilitator for tonight's cuddle. In an hour's time, she'll be chaperoning a room full of strangers spooning each other on the floor. But now, participants sit cross-legged, eyes fixed on Wyatt, who leads the group through a number of warm-up exercises like deep breathing, a body awareness activity and light stretching. She then outlines a few rules: to arrive and stay sober, to keep the identities of everyone in the room confidential, that no touch is required, that you can change your mind at any time and to respect others' boundaries with enthusiasm. "This is a G-rated event," Wyatt says. "Touch stays outside the bikini area."
In an event that depends almost entirely on physical intimacy, the topic of consent is crucial to the field's success. Everyone should be in what Wyatt calls a "hell yes" space – that if asked for a specific touch, the reply would be a passionate OK. But more importantly, if you don't want to partake, the word "no" should not be marred with guilt or shame.
"That is the thing that changes the most lives," Wyatt says earlier. "Take the whole touch thing away, teaching people that they have choice over their body, they've never seen it before, they've never experienced it."
The reasons one seeks out a professional cuddling experience range from average adults seeking connection, those on the autistic spectrum, those healing from sexual trauma, adults dealing with sexual dysfunction or for older virgins to practice touch in a safe environment. The elephant in the room during some of these sessions, though, is the current state of the country's affairs. Since November – and the election of Donald Trump – professional cuddling services have seen a spike in client interest.
"The holiday season was the first time that since Trump won the election that a lot of people were seeing their family," says Adam Lippin, co-founder and CEO of Cuddlist, which provides training services to professional cuddlers and allows clients to search listings of "Cuddlists" nearby. "People with different political views were going to be in the same place with relatives. That was the first hit of people having to confront it in a significant way. We saw an uptick around that."
But what makes the organized effort of being held, a service that comes with a cost (Cuddlist sessions go for $80 an hour), something that aids in relieving the fear and discomfort that has come with Trump's presidency?
Professional cuddling is one of the latest iterations of self-care and wellness, focusing on touch therapy. Since the early 2000s, the field of professional cuddling as a therapeutic tool has transitioned from stigmatized field with pay-for-sex undertones to a legitimate service for healing with proven health benefits. Cuddle Party, founded by relationship coaches Reid Mihalko and Marcia Baczynski in 2004 in Manhattan, was one of the first organized groups for those looking to engage in facilitated touch workshops. Now, Cuddle Party trains group cuddle facilitators and hosts parties worldwide from Australia to Utah. Since their incorporation in 2016, Cuddlist has fielded over 5,000 client requests and has trained over 200 practitioners.
A decade after Cuddle Party's first events, Jean Franzblau, who would go on to found Cuddle Sanctuary, discovered her own touch needs on a business trip, mistaking her touch deprivation for a desire for a sexual experience.

"I found myself isolated and lonely," Franzblau says. "I basically hijacked this guy's evening and I pushed for a sexual experience because I really wanted to spoon. I invested four hours in dinner, hanging out and the bottom of it was 'Let's spoon' and he's like, 'I won't do that.' It was humiliating, actually."
Franzblau created Cuddle Sanctuary in 2014, after attending her first group cuddle event, to help others realize their own touch needs. Since the election, Cuddle Sanctuary has seen 252 new clients beginning as early as the day following the election. The usual Wednesday night cuddle workshop following the decision was dubbed "Election Detox." Five of the 21 attendees were new.
While the professional cuddling network is tight and connected, ultimately the field operates through individual organizations and certified facilitators nationwide. Through various groups like Cuddle Sanctuary and Cuddle Party, professional cuddler training includes three-and-four-day certification programs which cover the rules of a cuddle, consent and boundary activities. Cuddle Party even offers online seminars. To be considered a certified Cuddlist, one must enroll in an online course, attend a Cuddle Party group session and pass a video or in-person evaluation.
Though the service sometimes comes with a stigma – Is this an orgy? Do I have to go to someone's house? – there are rules, like asking for what you want and waiting to receive a "yes" before proceeding, that help everyone feel safe. Cuddle Sanctuary and Portland-based Cuddle Up To Me, which has seen 186 new clients and the addition of three new staff members since the start of 2017, encourage clients to be specific with requests – a shoulder to lean on, a spooning session or even for no touching at all – and to not feel ashamed for saying no to what they don't want.
"What this means is that we will feel more connected, empathetic, content, [have] lower stress, anxiety and depression," says Samantha Hess, owner and professional cuddler at Cuddle Up To Me. "We will sleep better, have higher metabolic function, increase our immune response, and even decrease our impulse behavior – like drinking because the world is doomed."
"The work is actually political now," says an organizer. 
Either via one-on-one sessions with a certified professional cuddler or in a workshop basis where groups of people snuggle up to one another (lead by a facilitator), participants are looking for a natural boost of the hormone oxytocin, known to relieve stress, which is released in the brain upon positive human contact. Studies have shown that just 20 seconds of mutually engaged touch can trigger the release of oxytocin.
The same kind of feel-good hormones that are released when mothers nurse their babies or when you get a great massage are the same ones at play during a positive and platonic embrace. Those chemical aftereffects leave you experiencing nurtured and connected in much the same ways that sex does.
As executive orders, cabinet appointments, abuse of power, protests and other signs of political unrest sweep the nation, there's a sense of unease brewing in many. They are turning to alternative forms of care to alleviate these fears.
Marcia Baczynski, co-founder of Cuddle Party, has seen her already established clientele base reacting to the election. Many of them, she says, feel triggered by Trump's actions, history of sexual abuse allegations and manipulative behaviors.
"The work is actually political now," Baczynski says. "It used to be the case that you talked about cuddle parties because these are important skills for life – everyone's navigating boundaries. And now we need to have boundaries with our government. How the fuck do you do that? How do you conceptualize having a leader who is essentially an abusive asshole?"
A significant number of those seeking professional cuddling services have experienced abuse, and some see in Trump qualities that remind them of past trauma. Three days after the election, Anastasia Allington, a professional cuddler in Austin, Texas, had a session with a client who was bereft and frequently broke into tears. Another scheduled a cuddle session on Election Day in order to alleviate the anxiety he was already experiencing around the campaign.
"I started thinking about why it would be that people would seek out this service after this particular election and I think it has a lot to do with the space," Allington says. "We walk through our days and we wear all these hats: mother, sister, employee, then something like this happens where, for many people, they felt bereft and the world doesn't stop. In the cuddle space, you can be where you are with whatever emotion you're feeling and no one has any expectations of you."

For others, generalized anxiety and depression are heightened because of some of Trump's executive orders. John, who declined to give his last name, originally sought out cuddling services after determining talk therapy and prescribed medications didn't fit his needs. A veteran who served in Iraq, John felt that a combination of his experiences and chemical makeup contributed to his mental health and that the inclusion of positive touch in his life was the most effective form of treatment. Since Trump took office, he noticed his stress levels creeping higher again. The day prior to the inauguration, John received a career-changing job offer. Days later, it was rescinded – the job was a government position and Trump's federal hiring freeze prevented the department from moving forward with John's employment. Cuddling has been a way to help him cope.
"I think that there's so much stress in people's lives these days, and especially in today's political climate," he says. "What a cuddling service can offer is that opportunity to lower those stress levels, to relax, and [to] go back to the basics and seek out some human touch."
At times, the cuddle party Wyatt leads in Venice turns silent. Along one wall, participants sit stacked snugly in between another person's legs, one person using another's body as a support pillow; in the middle of the room is a spooning train; others sit side-by-side coloring. Just as touch is optional, so is speaking.
Abhit Singh has worked past his initial cuddle shyness and engages in the spoon train. Professional cuddling has been on his radar for the better part of a decade – this is Southern California, after all – but this is his first foray into the practice.
"When we have a figurehead who's dismissing those values, it's an opportunity for the rest of us to say, 'This is who we are and this is what we want,'" says one professional cuddler. 
"I think I worked up the courage to come and cuddle with random people," he says. "Along the years, I let go of some inhibitions. It was the perfect synergy and the perfect timing to try it out."
His mood fluctuates, he says, but for the most part, the start of 2017 is a lot harder for him, emotionally, than the end of 2016 because of the new administration.
"There's a lingering sadness but it's not like I'm still in the shock phase. I've gotten over that," Singh mentions. "If that triggered [me] attending an event, I didn't consciously think about it, but it could've been a perfect storm, [Trump] driving me subconsciously to attend this."
The tools one learns in both workshop and one-on-one situations translate into life outside the cuddle space. The practice of asking for what you want, being prepared to hear no and, more importantly, turning down offers you don't want are crucial in both cuddles and in life. It leaves participants and facilitators feeling empowered and like they have a choice over their bodies and livelihoods, especially in a time when so much can seem out of the average person's control.
"When we have a figurehead who's dismissing those values and demonstrating that it's not important, it's an opportunity for the rest of us to say, 'This is who we are and this is what we want,' and to take more action around it," Madelon Guinazzo, co-founder of Cuddlist, says.
"The skills we're teaching in Cuddle Party are, 'What do I know to be true, right now in this moment?'" Baczynski adds. The Diffusion of Responsibility...in the Trump Era

Before I get started,....Plumbing problems suck...and whatever you do,...don't have the hot water heater in the attic...just saying....the plumber is coming out again......sheesh


  I did this post a few years ago, with the latest explosion of "snowflake stupidity", especially after the election of Donald Trump to the Presidency.  It seems that everything is a "trigger" for the left,
I saw where students had the scales removed because it "triggered" students, and there were groups of students that are calling "cultural appropriations" involving "hoop" earrings...really?   There are groups of students that are attacking people with opposing or different points of view and they are proud of the fact that they suppressed "evil speech by Nazi's" and it is "ok" to attack people that you disagree with because they are "Nazi's and they deserve everything that they get.


I made this post back in 2014, I remembered writing it and decided to look it up, and it was relevant to the present situation.

The Difusion of Responsibility....in the modern era...

           I had saved this cartoon from a while back, it was drawn when the Boko Haram a Nigerian Islamist kidnapped 276 girls mostly Christian girls from a boarding school.   Everybody can remember Michelle Obama Standing holding a sign



“My husband and I are outraged and heartbroken,” said First Lady Michelle Obama, subbing for the president in his weekly radio address May 10. “In these girls, Barack and I see our own daughters.”
     
     I am going to touch on 2 different subjects on this post.....Yay go Touretts!!  Well anyway,
     The cartoon touched upon the "hashtag activism" that the left and liberals seem to favor, and is based upon a real event that happened in March 13 1964 where Kitty Genovese was raped and stabbed to death and the investigations had uncovered that 38 people heard her cries(that number has changed to less and more since then but I will go with the official police report of the time.)  People outside the urban areas were amazed that all those people did nothing to stop the attack.  The effect is called "The diffusion of responsibility", the more people that know or hear something, the less people will step forward and do or say nothing.   The people in the city call it "the golden rule"  You mind your own business or they will come and do the same to you.  The incident in New York had already shown the effects of large groups of people living together.  there have been several case studies involving Mice and the resulting breakdown of society due to overcrowding. you can read of it here.  
      Two weeks later, a newspaper article reported the circumstances of Genovese's murder and the lack of reaction from numerous neighbors. The common portrayal of her neighbors as being fully aware of what was transpiring but completely unresponsive has since been criticized as inaccurate. Nonetheless, that portrayal prompted investigation into the social psychological phenomenon that has become known as the bystander effect or "Genovese syndrome", especially diffusion of responsibility.
    
Diffusion of responsibility can manifest itself:
  • In a group of people who, through action or inaction, allow events to occur which they would never allow if they were alone. This is referred to as groupthink and groupshift.
  • In a group of people working on a task who lose motivation, feel less responsibility for achievement of group goals, and hide their lack of effort in the group (social loafing).
  • In hierarchical organizations, when subordinates claim to simply be following orders and supervisors claim that they merely issue directives and do not perform the actions under question. The difficulty of identifying the culpable party is often seen in trials regarding crimes against humanity. 
Diffusion of responsibility is also called " more people see, the less will get done, many people will stand in the background and will see who will step up and then act.  It is pack dynamics, people are afraid to step outside the shelter and anonymity of the group and be noticed, especially if there is pressure or adverse reaction if you step forward.   I liken it to the military term " Don't volunteer"   this was endemic in basic training because the one that stepped forward usually got extra punishment.  I saw it and did my best to hide in the background and avoid notice from the Drill Sergeants.
     I will then touch on my second topic and will then try to link them together,

    The liberals and others from the left love to use hashtag to denote what pet causes they are interested in,  You have seen it on many things from #can't breath, #Ferguson#,#don't shoot#, #meat is murder# and many other social causes.  I disparage hashtag activism, for it does nothing, it is immediate, then fades away.  Like the attention span of the average liberal.  All it does is show how pious you are in embracing the latest social cause to your liberal friends, it shows that you have embraced the latest group think that is prevalent at the time and does nothing.
       Left leaning People don't know how to use independent reasoning and logic in their decision process. The average liberal runs on pure emotions, they are the followers in group activities, they provide the "foot soldiers" for the latest cause.  The ones that use logic and reasoning and do what they do anyway, are the leaders, they know logic and reasoning but decide to continue anyway for the sake of power, they tell the followers what to do.  Those are the dangerous ones....those are the ones that do this for pure personal power and self gratification.
     How this ties together are 2 fold, when people get in groups, they submerge their individuality for the group dynamics, even if something is wrong, they will not step up.  Also it ties in with the immediate gratification, if they don't do anything, the problem goes away.  If they get involved, then the problem stays with them and people in groups don't want that.  The average liberal believes in immediate gratification, "do something now" and "if it feels good".  Doing hashtags feels good, but does nothing, because unless you are in a western based society, where social media is very strong, the effect is lost everywhere else but to a liberal, being "active on emotion" is better than actually doing something...because if they focus on one cause too long and it falls out of favor because the next cause has arrived, then they are no longer on the forefront of "social Justice" and they lose standings with their friends and peer groups.

Liberal indoctrination in the schools....?

I ran across this story while I was surfing around the internet.  It backs what I have said for years, the communist,godless heathen liberals are very patient, they know that their work to transform the United States will take generations so they start in the schools....besides that is where the Teachers Unions that are far left in ideology have been able to sink their roots into the education system....I also consider the Department of indoctrination Education in D.C. to be a major funding for this ideology.  The schools always on the hunt for more $$$ will accept the strings attached to it.  The liberals use what is called "constructive criticism of the established traditions"  if you are unsure...read Lenin...Marx and Engals used the same premise to attack the established customs and traditions....tear them down as old, outdated, not current with the times to paraphrase some of the current holders of political office.  Then replace traditional values that have been around for generations and provided a nation with its pride and replace it with "modern values" that are more in tune with the belief system that would encourage collectivism and surrender of individual will to do what the party wants you to do and in case you are not sure..
     The Party is there to keep the privileged few in power and use the rest of the people as props to hold up the regime.    Only those that are members of the party will have a good life...All the others exist to serve the will of the party.  George Orwell would be proud.  "1984" is coming closer and closer and people don't realize it.  I have stated that it would take at least 2 generations to undue the damage of "Hope and Change"  Once people have been indoctrinated, they tend to keep their viewpoint and will not change.

What this story pertains to is the indoctrination of student in the school system, that being said, I watch what they teach my son in his school system and so far it hasn't been bad.....yet.  In other schools the indoctrination is more evident.  I saw where a certain high school took it upon itself to change the meaning of the bill of rights of the U.S Constitution.  The link is here  
     I pulled out the copy of the bill of rights and I will post them in order...then compare them to what is in the text book.
      1. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
      2. A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
      3.No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
     4.  The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

      7.  In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
     8. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
     9.  The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
     10.The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

The authors of United States History: Preparing for the Advanced Placement Examination have taken it upon themselves to change the Constitution of the United States. The high school textbook contains a summary of each Amendment that alters the initial intent in which they were created.
The textbook notes the Second Amendment as, "The people have a right to keep and bear arms in a state militia."
The actual Second Amendment reads, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Guyer High School and numerous others have assigned the book for an "Advanced Placement History" course. By assigning anti-factual literature, the only advanced placement the school has ensured for their students is in the world of biased academia.
Sadly, parents now have to fact check textbooks to be sure their students are being taught accurate history. High schools and universities should focus on being a marketplace of ideas, not force-feeding leftist theories.
In an effort to remove the textbook from the school's curriculum, the Daily Paul has created a "Call to Action" plan. They are asking parents and concerned members of the community to attend the next school board meeting and demand answers.
Liberal indoctrination has become a serious threat to academic freedom and we must fight to stop it.

The Hypocrisy of the modern leftist

Y'all by now have seen the pictures of that rodeo clown who wore an Obama mask at a rodeo and the leftist became unglued.  The end results is that this poor guy is fired and banned for life from rodeo events for wearing the Obama mask.   Something don't seem right.  We let the left control the narrative with false outrage and remember when "W" was president all the crap done to him and they crowed back then about that "Dissent was patriotic" and other stuff and that insulting the president was first amendment rights.   Now this guy just got reamed by the progressive left.   There is a double standard at work here, you cannot by their rules say anything bad about President Obama...because if you do...you are a bad person...and probably a closet raciest also.  What gets me is that we LET them control the narrative, the establishment Republicans rolled over in submission and let them do it again!?   I guess they are getting practice for the 2016 elections where they will "try" to get along with the democrats and get burned.....again.   Where is the outrage?
And speaking of outrage...How is this...Remember back 20+ years ago when Rommney went on a trip, they had Fido on the roof of the car and the left became unhinged and flayed him alive for being uncaring.  It didn't matter that Obama ate Rover at the same time.  We let them control the narrative and we got screwed again.
And speaking of dogs...On the latest vacation, they flew The Obama's dog via V22 Osprey to the vacation spot and again the media was silent.  We heard about this from the foreign media, the domestic media is busy covering for him.by sending doggy BO (named after Barack Obama) on his own private plane to another vacation, they at least sing us a nice song as they pillage the land. A 100 million dollar vacation to Africa, followed by a 7.6 million dollar vacation to Martha's Vineyard, followed by doggy getting his own Osprey to himself.  Must be nice charging your expenses to other people, even as you rape and pillage the nation they live in. 
 Another one that gets me is the disrespect that the modern left shows to the American flag, to them it is a piece of cloth to destroy at a political protest or treat with disdain.
This person is Bill Ayer, a close political friend of President Obama, he was part of the Weathermen, Part of the SDS or Students for a democratic society.  It is believed that Bill Ayer wrote Obama first book " dreams of my father" and Obama started out his political career in Bills living room.  Bill Ayer is now a professor in Chicago.  Now the Hypocrisy is this:
I will climb off my soapbox now.  As long as we let the left control the narrative, we will always be behind the power curve and responding to them instead the other way around.

Why I don't FACEBOOK or other social media...

This question was mentioned on a reply to one of Old NFO's post while he was down under and the subject of blogging and Facebook came up.  Well I relayed that I used to Facebook, partly because others were doing it and it was a chance to keep up with my friends and also network.  My Army unit that I went to the gulf is on Facebook as is my last employer Ford Motor Co Atlanta Assembly plant.  The plant is gone, making way for Porsche to build a headquarters for their North American operations.  Well the people that used to work there formed a Facebook page and that is how we keep tabs on each other and also tell others if there are any jobs at and where to go. 
    



My problems happened when I was taken to task by one of the liberal friends of a good friend that I have known for many years.  Well I got thought about it for a while then proceeded to rebut all the half assed assertions and distortions that this person made.  My response was quite lengthy and my friend *Shelldude* as I refer to him was quite impressed and since he has known me for a long time and he knows that I am quite the polite person and it takes a lot to get me riled up knew that I was pissed by my response.  This was the rant that got me suspended from FB for 3 weeks.   I removed the name of my friend that is involved.
" .Hit the enter button again..*dangit* I would have responded yesterday but I was off the internet due to SOPASTRIKE..Well I read your rant or diatribe, and since I am the only person on the other side of the fence from the rest of y'all I guess it is directed at me. That is fine, so I will go down your screed and make my counterpoints. I do not look the other way on things, When I debate somebody I make sure that I have facts to back up my statements. Verify with XXXXXX on that. Yes I have stood in the shoes of the poor, the crap I went through after I got out in 1991, Ask XXXXXX, I dropped off the face of the planet for several years. Being soo poor and afraid to face my friends that knew me from before to see how far I have fallen. Having just enough change in the ashtray of my truck to buy a burger so I could eat. I remember those days and swore that I would never be there again. I work many jobs that I despised but I needed the money and worked them until I got a better job. That is how I climbed out of poverty. Like I have stated, there is a difference from people actually being down and out and the moochers. When I work the food pantry, the people that are down and out appreciate whatever we do for them. they are grateful. The moochers bitch about the food they get and make specific demands. The entitlement mentality is on display. They expect others to provide for them because they exist and put forth no effort to better themselves and break the cycle. The government is supposed to be "we the people" but the special interest have taken root. That is what happens when we have career politicians. They on both sides are more concerned about getting reelected and maintaining their power and perks. I like the idea of a citizen legislator, they spend part of their time in D.C stirring up trouble. I never came out of a trailer park and that is as bigoted as the comments you deplore. I am not stupid, but I am angry when I have seen what has happened to this country, we used to be the beacon of the world, the envy of the world, We as a society believed in American exceptional-ism, Now we are told we are just like everybody else and that infuriates and saddens me. President Obama and the Democrats have screwed it up. They picked up where the establishment Republicans left off. Then you threw the race card on me..."closet racist" any criticism of the president is considered "racist" Is this where I am supposed to apologize for all the sins of my ancestors and grovel on the alters of Political correctness and diversity?......Naaa don't feel it. How can there be any political discourse debated when the race card is thrown down. When all else fails, the opponents are "racist so I don't have to debate them since I have the moral high ground". When will it end? I also have been discriminated against, Discrimination isn't just a Black or a Female thing. I lost jobs and job opportunities because I wasn't a minority or a female. If you want I will tell you specific examples. We all have been discriminated against at one time or another. I remember it and don't like the feeling, so I go out of my way not to do it to others. you saluted Mr Thompson for being a wise person and basically told me to screw off since I do not breath the rarified air that you leftist inhale...or drink the koolaid for that matter. You are correct on the assertion that the politicians give us little to keep us pliable. that is how they maintain control. That is all it is, the ability to maintain control, our freedom is surrendered on the promise of security and we became slaves to the government and the political masters that control the government. If you or XXXXXX want to defriend me on account of this reply, that is your decision to make. We will have to agree to disagree. I thank you for your time

 Well I was reported  to Facebook for "Hate speech".  Although there was nothing that I had said that violated FB's terms of use.  It took 3 weeks for FB to release my access again and by this time I was so angry I started blogging instead.  I have since learned that this is a favorite tactic of the left is to "flag" what they consider inappropriate content and FB and twitter is very quick on the banning of conservative thought, but slow to release the access.  Whereas the left can say things quite incendiary and nothing is done.  They control the narrative.  This presents a problem where speech is censored for " thought control" or "hate crimes".  This is a slippery slope to tyranny. 
     I have since then blogged a lot, met a lot of good people on the blogosphere and have an outlet for my writing.  having a blog allows me to say things that I want, put up stuff that I find interesting, and it helps me be a better writer and helps organize my thoughts.    I stay on FB because of my Army unit and my Ford buddies.  I use a "nom-de Guerre" on this site, I don't want people finding out where I work at and try to get me fired because they didn't like what I have to say.   My employer is very risk adverse and would can me in a new-york minute to avoid bad publicity.   Liberals like free speech if it is what they agree with it.  If they don't like it they try to silence it. ........... The tolerant left.
     the cartoon that is shown with this article is what I believe would happen if I continued posting on FB.  The left in the past few years had several phone numbers and websites that were organized by the government  if they wanted to "fink" on their neighbors if they believed them to be "extremist" or a "danger to society"  They tried this with "attackwatch" and also the white house had its own "narc" line to squeal on your neighbors.  Goebbels would be so proud of the modern left. 
The Germans are very sensitive to a police state since a large portion remember living under the East German Government until reunification.  They are not happy with Obama and the NSA spying on everybody else.  


He has tried to deflect this stating that this was a holdover from the Bush administration......Really?   You still gotta blame your predecessor?   When you gonna grow a pair and actually take responsibility for something that happened on your watch.   Oh yeah...You have dodged the IRS scandal, Fast and Furious, Bengazi?, Solendra, Fiskers, and many other scandals and your compliant media still covers for you.
I will continue to blog since I find it therapeutic and when I see something that either pisses me off or something that I think is "Neat!"  I will post it here.   If I did it on Facebook, anything would be lost among the noise that is Facebook.  Also blogging has made me a better writer and better able to organize my thoughts.   So I will keep on blogging.
