More Government support for the Obama Administration.

I have stated in past post that the active assistance of government agencies of a president is dangerous to the republic.  We went to a merit type system to prevent government jobs being tied to political patronage as was the past system like the Tammany Hall system of patronage.  Now we have government agencies in active support for certain candidates and certain political parties.  This will cause a further disconnect where we have government that will actively target certain groups.  When people have faith no longer in their vote or ability to vote without being persecuted will cause a farther chasm in the political system.  When people believe that they have no say any longer in the voting process, they will start doing other things from going Galt to civil disobedience to active resistance and possible revolt.

Thanks to the TaxProf blog and to Instapundit, I discovered this chart detailing political giving by government lawyers:
With certain limitations understood (we don’t know the affiliations of non-donors), the chart above looks more like the political affiliations of Ivy League women’s-studies departments than those of an allegedly impartial federal bureaucracy.
The civil-service system was designed to replace the spoils system, which — in addition to creating chaotic rushes of office-seekers with each change of administration — packed political hacks into important administrative positions. A civil service was supposed to change that unacceptable reality by placing the administration of the more neutral functions of the government into the hands of dispassionate professionals. Thus the strong federal job security in the civil service, greater security than enjoyed by virtually any private-sector employee. The job security — so the argument goes — was necessary to prevent the re-emergence of blatant political patronage.
But what if the combination of increasingly activist government with strong bureacratic bias re-creates federal service as a kind of permanent spoils system for the Left? Isn’t it inevitable that this leftist bureaucracy will eventually view itself not as a servant for all citizens but as an instrument of its own righteous ideology?
If the recent history of our universities is any guide, the products of a leftist bureacratic monoculture will be characterized by the following:
Ignorance: Groups of like-minded people are notoriously incurious about the ideas and perspectives of dissenters.
Condescension: They don’t let ignorance stand in the way of a bulletproof sense of moral and intellectual superiority.
Hatred: Since all the good people they know agree with them, they ascribe the worst of motives to the other side, believing them to be motivated by little more than greed and bigotry.
And, finally . . .
Fanaticism: Cass Sunstein described the ”Law of Group Polarization like this: “In a striking empirical regularity, deliberation tends to move groups, and the individuals who compose them, toward a more extreme point in the direction indicated by their own predeliberation judgments.” In other words, when like-minded individuals deliberate, their common views grow more extreme over time.
We conservatives have a problem with Big Government, no matter who’s running it. But we also have a particular problem with this big government, as key agencies are increasingly staffed and run by individuals who wield enormous power, cannot be fired, and despise roughly half the American population. When Barack Obama urges supporters to “PUNISH OUR ENEMIES,” there are many federal employees only too willing to comply.

Repeal Obamacare Billboard vandalized

Yes.... the Chicago way of politics have made its way to Florida....Remember a while back there was a DNC headquarters with the American flag with Obungler's face in the Star Field.......?

Repeal Obamacare' Billboard Vandalized

Vandals defaced a Sarasota County Republican Party anti-Obama billboard over the weekend in Venice, Florida, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

Vandals this past weekend extensively damaged a Sarasota County Republican Party billboard with the message “Repeal Obama.”
At about 8 a.m. Sunday, Sarasota GOP Chairman Joe Gruters said he received an email notifying him about the damage to the sign at the U.S. 41 Bypass and Center Road.
Someone with a cutting instrument removed the word “Repeal,” the GOP's website address and its financial disclosure statement but left the word “Obama.”
...
“This wasn't kids,” Gruters said. “It wasn't an easy job.”
On Monday afternoon Gruters told Breitbart News:
It's extremely disappointing when you work hard as a group to build a sign... we raised contributions... and to have it destroyed by vandals is disappointing. This Chicago style politics coming to Florida is disgusting. This is new to Sarasota. We've never had this type of incident.
This job could not have been done by kids. You had to have a box truck or a ladder. For them to have dissected the sign as they did, it was pretty obvious it was a planned attack. It wasn't just a few minutes work. It took them at least fifteen minutes to do it. The police said they're actively engaged in the investigation. If they catch them, they're going to be charged with felony mischief.
The good news is we've raised enough money to replace the billboard.
On Monday Breitbart News called Sarasota County Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Wendy Rose for an update on the investigation into this act of vandalism but has not yet received a response.

Off the wall comment....and a correlation...?

Former NJ Governor and head of the defunct MF global Mr. Corzine spoke before congress and was asked about the missing 1.2 Billion dollars of investor money that just "vanished"   Link is here

1.2 billion dollars vanished and they don't have a clue where the money went?   Ya know that Obungler has a massive war chest to finance his reelection campaign.   I wonder if there is a correlation.

     Makes you wonder........

The democrap attack machine is after Perry

This is the Chicago way..

Obungler has used the same tactics in the past to discredit his other opponents when he ran for office as a senator and a congressman.  His opponents had to drop out of the races when "irregularities" were "discovered" by the media.  Funny how they crawl the rectal cavities of Obunglers opponents but they give a surface scan if that to the Obamamessiah...you know the one that will heal the planet and cool the oceans......or something like that.

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are asking questions following a report that Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council member Mohamed Elibiary may have been given access to a sensitive database of state and local intelligence reports, and then allegedly shopped some of those materials to a media outlet. He allegedly used the documents to claim the department was promoting “Islamophobia” — claims that the media outlet ultimately rejected. They declined to do the story.
Earlier today, I received confirmation from a left-leaning media outlet that Elibiary had recently approached them asking to do a story attacking Texas DPS:
Yes, he approached us and gave us some reports marked FOUO [For Official Use Only] that he said showed a pattern of Islamophobia at the department. He emphasized that some of the regional fusion centers were shut down a few years ago after the ACLU complained that they were targeting Muslim civil rights groups and said that this was being directed by [Texas Gov.] Rick Perry.
We looked at the reports and they weren’t as he had billed them to us. They seem to be pretty straightforward, nothing remotely resembling Islamophobia that we saw. I think he was hoping we would bite and not give it too much of a look in light of the other media outfits jumping on the Islamophobia bandwagon.
I asked if there was any sense of his possible motivation:
Oh, self-promotion definitely. It was clear up front that he wanted to be a quoted source in the story. We’ve used him as an unnamed source in previous stories. There’s nothing unusual or unseemly about that because officials do it all the time, but this was the first time he approached us with documents. Honestly, if they had been what he represented them as we would have probably run with the story. But we looked at them and saw this was a partisan hatchet job that could blow back on us so we passed on it.
