Obama wants to play, party, and pontificate.

He wants to smile, steal from the rich, and install socialism.

He wants to lie, litigate, and leave his legacy.

He wants to complain, constrain, and campaign.

His vision is a utopia of muezzins at 5:00 o’clock, black brothers in polling places, and white people in cemeteries, a land where everything is free for oppressed minorities and paid for by successful entrepreneurs. He sees himself as a tanned Washington buying the world a Coke and singing Kumbaya with the mullahs as the world finds eternal peace in the insect-like world of Islam, where individual achievement is stifled, women’s rights are cancelled, and national treasuries are pilfered.

Obama is a duffer on a championship course swinging his football bat like a poofter and demanding that the local pro caddy for him. He wants free transportation, free food, free golf balls, free equipment, free greens fees, and free ice cream at the end of the round.

He knows as much about leadership and management as Mike Tyson knows about art and literature. He was an equal-opportunity fraud in college, a gangsta wannabe in Chicago politics, and a fraud in the Illinois senate. He is profoundly unaware of what’s going on in the world, completely indifferent to the desires of flyover country citizens, and spectacularly unequipped to comprehend his role in the office he occupies.

Obama was an unwanted child, an unwelcome Indonesian, an unhappy Hawaiian, an unproductive professor, an unqualified senator, and now an unfit president. His most significant accomplishments, his two books, were ghost-written by a domestic terrorist, and his wife has never been comfortable in her own skin. He is famous for absolutely nothing of interest, and capable of doing nothing of value.
He is a suppurating pustule on the body of American politics, a malignant carbuncle which should be excised immediately.

Funny thing...Obummer said nothing during Easter which is a big holiday for us Christains...but he releases a video for the muslims on ramadan....Am I the only person that is disturbed by this?  His talking heads during easter said that he didn't want to promote one religion over another.......But yet, he talks ramadan.    Something really smells on this.  People say that he is a closet muslim.  After see this and other things it kinda strengthens their case.

Borrowing Is No Longer Stimulus?
The Congressional Budget Office not long ago forecast that Barack Obama’s $1 trillion-plus annual deficits — scheduled over the next decade — would result in almost another $10 trillion in aggregate debt. Going back to the pre-Bush tax rates this time won’t balance the budget. Slashing discretionary spending will not. So large has the splurge become, and so hooked are the constituencies of federal money, that massive cuts to entitlements necessary to stave off financial implosion may well prompt Greek-like protests.
That staggering sum was apparently conventional wisdom until the November 2010 election. But now there is fear that at some point in the future, Obama will not be known as the first African-American president. Nor will he be cited even as the hope-and-change phenomenon of 2008. Instead, posterity shall know him as the single greatest borrower in American presidential history, a novice who nearly wrecked the U.S. economy by borrowing over $4 billion a day without any feasible proposal how to pay back such a vast sum — taking a post-recession recovery and turning it into a stagflationary mess. In the third year of his tenure, Obama is still left only with “Bush did it” as an explanation of what went wrong.
Obama has managed the nearly impossible: the greatest peacetime deficits in U.S. history — about $1.5 trillion per year — in his first three years achieved almost no economic expansion. Instead, unemployment is chronic and stays over 9.2%; growth is stagnant; gas is sky-high — and the president seems stunned that none of what he had promised came to pass. All his liberal nostrums have been tried and been found wanting. There is no successful EU model, no winning blue-state statist paradigm for guidance.
Remember that his key advisors — Goolsbee, Orszag, Romer, Summers — have now quit and did not last even three years, their policies orphaned by the very parents who spawned them. Even the president joked that “shovel-ready” was a joke. When he evokes “stimulus” and “investment,” in response, we do not even think “borrowing” and “taxes,” but rather “he’s clueless again.” The old argument that we simply did not borrow enough (say, $5, $6, $7 billion a day?) is laughable beyond the point of caricature, given that the administration followed the Bush record of record peacetime debt. The only mystery is whether the massive Obama borrowing was a product of incompetence, a poorly thought out gorge the beast way of increasing taxes and redistributing income, or a more cynical effort at creating a permanent constituency of millions of new food stamp recipients and federal workers. Or more than that still.

If you try engaging in a conversation about taxes with a liberal, you can expect for your conversation to last less than one minute.  This is because the only argument that liberals have about raising taxes is fairness.
Forgive me for my abject ignorance, but I just can’t shake this idea that the purpose of taxation is to raise the revenue that is needed to fund the essential and constitutionally appropriate functions of government.  The left goes further – much further – with this.  They view the power to tax – the power to seize property from an individual citizen at the point of a gun – as the power to reorder a free society to more closely mirror their ideas and desires.  This is why these social engineers will always start bleating about “fairness” When progs start talking about fairness any chance for rational discussion is out the window.
Two points:
#1: What is considered “fair” and who gets to define it?
Let’s start with the first part: what would you consider fair?  Most liberals cannot tell you how much the evil rich earn compared to what they pay in taxes.  The answer, by the way, is that the top 1% of taxpayers earn about 20% of the income, yet they pay close to 40% in taxes.  Doesn’t matter.  To your friendly neighborhood prog, that just isn’t enough.  And the fact that almost 51% of wage earners pay no federal income taxes at all?  Is this considered fair?  Should these people be getting a completely free ride?  A liberal will probably stutter and stammer and try to avoid answering the question.  So you give them a break.  Progs also can’t give you specific number on how much the evil rich need to pay in order for our tax system to be fair.  They are just certain that it is more than they’re paying now.  And never forget --- it is not for you to determine just how much money you can earn and keep.  That’s up to the government.  Remember that is was our Dear Ruler who said,"I do think at a certain point you've made enough money" 
During Obama’s presser yesterday we heard one of the most absurd and dangerous quotes I’ve ever heard from a president.  Well … a president of the United States yesterday.  Here’s the quote:

I do not want, and I will not accept, a deal in which I am asked to do nothing, in fact I’m able to keep hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional income that I don’t need, while a parent out there who is struggling to send their kid to college suddenly finds that they’ve got a couple thousand dollars less in grants or student loans.

Asked to do nothing?  Oh .. I see.  So we’re all supposed to be sitting around just waiting for our orders from the Imperial Federal Government.  “What do you want me to do today, Dear Ruler?”  The fact is that the best thing any citizen can do is to strive to be a self-reliant and independent citizen who is not running to the federal government for help every day of their life.
But let’s deal with this “I’m able to keep hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional income that I don’t need.”    “ABLE TO KEEP?”  Are you kidding me?  Do you understand the underlying premise of this argument?  That amazing statement belies a belief that everything Obama – or any other citizen earns – actually belongs to the government, and it is the political class and government bureaucrats who will decide just how much of those earnings each individual will be “able to keep.”  Your wealth is to be determined by government, not by your own initiative, hard work and good decision-making.  Consider the “don’t need” part of Obama’s statement.  Just who gets to decide how much of what you earn you “need?”  Can anyone make that choice except you?  Well, not in a free society.  But this is the Obama Society where government discovers how much you have earned, then decides what you “need” and then comes to a decision as to what you will be “able to keep.”

#2: Increasing taxes does not mean increasing revenue.
And the converse is true as well; decreasing taxes does not necessarily mean a decrease in revenue.  The history books show countless examples of tax revenues increasing when tax rates decline.   Let’s just take the Bush tax cuts as an example.  These liberals love to scream about the Bush tax cuts costing us billions of dollars!  The fact is that revenues actually increased after the Bush tax cuts went into effect in 2003.  The Heritage foundation has the facts: “Tax revenues in 2006 were 18.4 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), which is actually above the 20-year, 40-year, and 60-year historical averages.  The inflation-adjusted 20 percent tax revenue increase between 2004 and 2006 represents the largest two-year revenue surge since 1965-1967.”  On a more macro scale, “Since 1952, the highest marginal income tax rate has dropped from 92 percent to 35 percent, and tax revenues have grown in inflation-adjusted terms while remaining constant as a percent of GDP.”  In other words, revenues are not about increasing tax rates … they are about economic growth: producing more and/or creating new tax payers.  Here are some historical examples for your liberal friends to chew on.  Or take capital gains taxes.  What if I told you that historically, as capital gains tax rates dropped, revenues from the tax increased?  Conversely, in the 1980s when the rate was increased to 28%, revenues went down.   So why raise it at all, especially given the fact that 100 million people in this country own stock and would be affected?  Oh wait, someone has asked that question before.  It was Charlie Gibson who posed that question to senator Barack Obama back in 2008.  Barack Obama’s response: “Well, Charlie, what I’ve said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness.”  You can’t argue with logic like that.

I have always been an admirer of David Axelrod — since I found out who he was. His creation of the Obama myth is one of the most impressive marketing and propaganda feats in history, carefully crafted from a simple set of rules and masterfully applied to challenging, shifting circumstances.

Axelrod knew just what he was doing. He created an African American candidate without the ghetto rap. He created an ultimate urban intellectual alternative to George W. Bush — a veritable anti-Bush. He created a pseudo-legend based upon a semi-fictional autobiography.

He created a quasi-evangelical being with the gift to heal the earth.

To create this myth, the Axelrod team had to suppress the dark pages of Obama’s life. Obama’s ideological convictions were simply too far off center, too much the result of a radical leftist ideology.

Obama was a lifelong student of Marxist and neo-Marxist thinkers, his life dedicated to a theoretic approach based on the “historical” conflict of opposing classes. Long before he received the Axelrod touch, Obama was planning the long march through the institutions as a student. He has been as much a brilliant strategist and tactician as Axelrod. He has known when to lay low, and when to attack; when to aggrandize, and when to diminish.

When Obama started to realize that a path to the White House could be opened, he knew he had a problem. As a student he created a trail of radical papers which could be catastrophic to his career. But he was lucky, and able, to hide them in time.

HnC Vault: You Want A Peace Of Me?

October 10, 2010 - It was exactly one year ago that Barack Hussein Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize - not because of anything he'd done, but because hopes were so high that he would create peace with his promises to speak reasonably and without preconditions to any politicians in the world, including blood-drenched anti-American lunatics.

Now, Obama's "year to create peace" has passed...and not only has the world gone to hell in a handbasket, but the president and his administration are now personally threatening politicians in our own capitol with physical violence.

Vice president Joe Biden told an audience that "if I hear one more Republican tell me about balancing the budget, I'm going to strangle them."

Not to be outdone, Barack Obama has declared that "a Republican majority in Congress would mean hand-to-hand combat for the next two years."

Of course, the Republicans aren't exactly worried about these threats, which can only be compared to being warned of a potential ass-kicking from Pee-Wee Herman and Barney Fife.

Meanwhile, the Nobel Prize Committee is undoubtedly and justifiably embarrassed by their gullibility in believing the president's meaningless promises. Which is why next year's peace prize should be for "No Bull."

Update 3/6/11 - In selecting cartoons for these weekend retrospectives, I try to make them relevant to recent stories. This week, one of those stories which didn't get much coverage was about a Wisconsin State Representative - a Democrat - who turned to a female Republican colleague after she voted in favor of a budget-balancing bill and said: "You're fucking dead!"

Not exactly the sort of rhetoric politicians are supposed to be using following Jared Lee Loughner's shooting spree in Tucson, and Barack Obama's suggestion that we use "words that heal rather than wound."

Of course, as the original cartoon points out, Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden were only too happy to suggest (or perhaps even instigate) physical violence for their political opponents before their recent (and not entirely believable) change of heart.

It is 3:00 AM....and the phonecall comes in.

Obama Opens Up New Front in War on America (Wisconsin Edition)

He refused to meddle in Iran. He recently threw a US ally under the proverbial bus in Egypt. Along the way, he has chastised a long list of US allies, states and cities, including India, Arizona, Israel and Las Vegas.

And now President Obama is targeting middle America:

President Obama thrust himself and his political operation this week into Wisconsin's broiling budget battle, mobilizing opposition Thursday to a Republican bill that would curb public-worker benefits while planning similar action in other state capitals.

Obama accused Scott Walker, the state's new Republican governor, of unleashing an "assault" on unions in pushing emergency legislation that would nullify collective-bargaining agreements that affect most public employees, including teachers.

The president's political machine worked in close coordination Thursday with state and national union officials to mobilize thousands of protesters to gather in Madison and to plan similar demonstrations in other state capitals.

Their efforts began to spread, as thousands of labor supporters turned out for a hearing in Columbus, Ohio, to protest a measure from Gov. John Kasich (R) that would cut collective-bargaining rights.

By the end of the day, Democratic Party officials were working to organize additional demonstrations in Ohio and Indiana, where an effort is underway to trim benefits for public workers. Some union activists predicted similar protests in Missouri, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Gas prices...

Remember during the eeeevil Chimpy McHalliburton Bushitler's reign when gas prices topped $3 per gallon and the Dims and the LSM were screaming about it? It was all Bush's fault! It was all Cheney's fault. It was all the Republican's fault. I guess now that gas is once again over $3 per gallon it's still Bush's fault. So is everything else bad going on around the world. Wahh! It's Bush's fault. Jug Hussein Ears inherited all of these problems from Chimpy.

Also, the largest deficit during the Bush years was $600 billion. Unemployment was around 5%.
So the next time a liberal starts bemoaning how bad it was during the eight years of the Bushitler administration tell 'em you prefer low unemployment, deficits under $1.5 trillion, and gas prices under $3 per gallon.
The longer Obungler is in office, the better the eight years under Bush look. How's that hope and change bullshit working out for y'all.

NO MORE RAINBOWS AND UNICORNS!

Things are about to get real bad for Hopenchange. For a community organizer who sold himself to be a savior, he is about to enter very dark times. And he will not enter the abyss alone. Obama will take a good part of the Democrat party down with him. The last election will look like an ACORN meeting after extorting a bank and buying Cadillacs come November 2012.
Gas prices are going to skyrocket like never before. The radical Islam movement that is about to overtake the Middle East will reduce the flow of oil to America to a trickle. Obama and his disgraceful EPA have illegally shut down off shore drilling in Louisiana and those platforms are now in Brazil and other parts. They won’t return soon. One terrorist attack on a few refineries and we could be looking at $20 a gallon gas. High gas prices will raise the price on everything we buy. It’s not going to be good. Gas prices are now over $3 a gallon in Dallas.
The economy is a disaster zone and the real unemployment rate is nearly 20%. Obama and the Dims have created $5 trillion in debt since 2006. Last year’s deficit was $1.5 trillion. This year it will be at least $1.6 trillion! Yet, the Democrats scream if Republicans try to reduce spending!
Obama has shown his true colors in organizing the Wisconsin union protests. Think about it…a US President organizing union protests and walkouts against a state that is trying to financially save itself from the disaster generations of Democrats have created! Obama is owned and paid for by corrupt labor unions. American wealth producers in the private sector have never paid attention to the upward spiraling costs of public sector employee pay and benefits. Hard-working and over-taxed Americans now are focused like laser beams on the corrupt deal making that has occurred between Democrats and unions at the cost of the taxpayer. This will not go well for unions, Democrats or Obama!
Today, Obama instructed the racist, communist Attorney General Eric Holder not to prosecute cases pertaining to the Defense of Marriage Act signed into law by Bubba Clintoon which states that marriage is between a man and a woman. Obama says he will not uphold the law because it is unconstitutional! Of course, commie racist Holder concurs! THIS IS AMERICA!!! The president does not determine what is or is not constitutional!! Obama has once again arrogantly usurped powers that are not his! His pledge as president is to uphold the laws of the United States and protect the Constitution. He has broken both of those. I hope to see impeachment charges brought against him soon!
Obama has sided against Arizona with the corrupt Mexican government on two occasions in court in support of illegal aliens that are destroying Arizona while Obama throws gala parties with union leaders!! He was aware that Scotland was going to release the Libyan bomber of Pan Am 103 yet did nothing! After the release, Hussein had the audacity to feign outrage! It is quite apparent Obama is a disgraceful con man who hates his country!
Jimmy Carter is guilty of losing Iran. Obama will be guilty of losing the entire middle east. This will not end pretty and could end up in a world war. With China, Russia and their friends just itching to see the US go down, we may see something occur militarily before America can seat a real president in 2012. Why fight Reagan when you can walk all over Carter?
Hussein has alienated our allies and provided aid and comfort to our enemies. He now makes no pretense of covering his actions. Who would have ever thought an American president and wife would not be invited to the wedding of a British royal?
With today’s statement about the Defense of Marriage Act, Obama has thrown in the towel for any chance of winning any independent votes. Only the hard-core left really cares about homosexual marriage. His actions show he will concentrate on pandering only to the hard-core left. This is what he always has done but before he didn’t have a real track record of screwing everyone else. He could at least talk the talk about bipartisanship. For Obama, there is no going back now.
More and more Americans openly despise our president. He had better hope for massive voter fraud from ACORN in 2012 to even think about another term. Of course, the tea party has a little something for him this time concerning voter fraud! We can organize too!
The beginning of the end is nigh for Obama and the Dims. Once inflation and prices skyrocket, jobs continue to flee the country, and we are humiliated as a country as we were this week by the murders of 4 Christian missionaries at the hands of Somali Muslim pirates, Obama could see an uprising in America on the scale of Egypt. A president who does not respect nor honor the Constitution may not last through a major strike and uprising. Nor should he! Our Constitution and Declaration of Independence give us protections from corrupt men such as Barack Hussein Obama!
Unfortunately, the same dark clouds that will hang over Obama will also cover America until we can bring sanity back Washington and the White House.

What is most concerning is that the President is effectively committing sedition, actively taking a role in funding the interference in a state to govern itself effectively and legally. Obama’s Organizing for America, the remains of his 2008 election campaign, is directly and admittedly involved in the situation.

From a sharp and clear voice on another forum, I submit for your consideration:

OBAMA, our currently sitting POTUS, is not only inciting this with words and deeds, he's ******** FUNDING IT! HE IS DIRECTLY INTERFERING WITH THE STATE OF WISCONSIN'S SOVEREIGN RIGHT TO GOVERN. I also believe that Obama helped orchestrate the acts of the Wisconsin Democrats and probably funded their 'escape' to the Illinois resort and their transportation to that resort....”

Organizing for America is also actively looking at spreading this type of activity to other states that are looking to pare back on benefits paid to public employees and their unions by the taxpayers.

The Criminalization of Politics 

 I had posted earlierhttp://mydailykona.blogspot.com/2011/02/you-still-dont-know-what-youre-dealing.html  about the federal judge finding obummercare illegal.  This is a continuation from that earlier posting.  OBama doesn't care what the rule of law and people that are in the government will not do anything about it.  they are afraid in my opinion that the blacks will riot when they try to impeach Obama.  there is precidence for this fear, look at the Rodney King riots and other upheavals.  The average black will view this as" the man trying to stick it to a fellow brother" and go smash things.  Despite the fact that Obama is of both white and black parents.

 

The union thugs in Wisconsin are not there just on their own, they are the extension of the Obama Administration. This is the open declaration of hostility by the President of the United States against a duly elected government of a state. The President is already disobeying the courts on the drilling ban and the implementation of Obamacare. He is engaged in a legal war with Arizona, with Florida, with Louisiana and now Wisconsin. Before long he will have a chance to go to war with Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana.

How long will the American people tolerate this criminal behavior from the president? When does it go too far, even for Democrats? Are there no nation-loving Democrats left with the ethical obligation to call it for what it is, treason?

Look, terms like treason and war are not easy to speak in this nation, but are we all blind? Is it not obvious that after this president has taken the support of unions in his election as well as the opposition to the Tea Parties, who stood in the way of Obamacare, that he then funneled billions of taxpayer dollars into their accounts, paid off teacher's unions with stimulus dollars and then sided with the unions against the State of Wisconsin and against all of the citizens of that state who voted to install Republicans? If this isn't gang behavior, what is? This makes Nixon look like a doofus.

This is more important than just Wisconsin, this is the criminalization of politics. Is that what we want? Why not just get a bigger gang and overthrow the city, or state government? Tell me how this is different? Is this the sanctioned approach to politics now? Gangs? Thugs? We don't like a law we threaten to kill the governor? We pretend that there is a connection to Hitler and just do what? What are they proposing? Is the president complicit in these threats by backing those groups making the threats? Should we break some legs to get our political will done?

It is the responsibility of every able-bodied citizen to protest this in the greatest possible way. When the teachers unions stand in solidarity in your state, where will you be? I will be right across the line from those thugs. I will be prepared. I will be capable of self-defense and I will be there. I will not succumb to threats of violence, of the criminalization of my state. Will you?
