Our "betters" are at it again....

I have seen articles from several magazines that represented the view of the elites in D.C and other liberal enclaves, this one from the New Republic,

Ban guns. All guns. Get rid of guns in homes, and on the streets, and, as much as possible, on police. Not just because of San Bernardino, or whichever mass shooting may pop up next, but also not not because of those. Don’t sort the population into those who might do something evil or foolish or self-destructive with a gun and those who surely will not. As if this could be known—as if it could be assessed without massively violating civil liberties and stigmatizing the mentally ill. Ban guns! Not just gun violence. Not just certain guns. Not just already-technically-illegal guns. All of them.

We have Dear Leader pushing a "Universal Background Check" according to the A.P, he is wanting to go around Congress according to his adviser Valarie Jarrod.

We have other magazines that represent the worldview of the elitist and their enablers like the New Yorker Cover...

We have the Democratic Front runner also espousing a very aggressive gun control platform..

I keep wondering how these elitist is going to persuade the average American to give up their guns?   They gonna have the PoPo go bust down doors to get the guns.....all you gonna get is a bunch of dead citizens and dead police...and the average police officer ain't keen on kicking in doors.  Now the weenies from the federal side of the house might be game...but the local law enforcement ain't going to have a lot of excitement.  The feds would try it because it isn't their community...and they want to keep their benefits and paychecks..but they would have to get the support of the local PoPo....

American gun owners are beginning to respond with a fresh, powerful argument when facing anti-gun liberals. Here it is, in its entirety. Ready?
“Screw you.” That’s it. Except the first word isn’t “Screw.”
The fact is that there is no point in arguing with liberal gun-control advocates because their argument is never in good faith. You can’t argue with someone who is lying about his position or whose position is not based upon reason.
"Scratches from the Ovens at Auschwitz"

They lie about their ultimate aim, which is to ban and confiscate all privately owned weapons. And they adopt a pose of reasonability, yet their position is not susceptible to change because of evidence, facts or law. None of those matter – they already have their conclusion. This has to do with power – their power.

Put simply, liberal elitists don’t like the fact that, at the end of the day, an armed citizenry can tell them, “No.”
I am disturbed that the democrats really believe that they can force gun control on the populace.  There are a lot of gun owners that will not hand them over...and I am not sure that the government knows exactly what they are in for..If memory serves...There are something like 300 million firearms here in the United States and most people ain't going to just hand them over.....it will be ugly fast.  I find it ironic that the people that espouse gun control want somebody else to go physically take the guns away from the citizens.  The people that are pushing this to support their nanny state big government agenda will not lead the stack into somebody's house in the middle of the night...they will be behind their keyboard and living in their guarded enclaves that insulate them from the results of their actions and we the people in "flyover country" will have to deal with the crime and other actions.  The liberals especially the limousine variety like the idea of the unwashed masses being totally subservient to their "betters" whom thanks to the knowledge imparted by their professors in
their Ivory towers in their Ivy League colleges that havn't worked a real job in their life and have no idea how the world actually works, just what they believe would work if the right people are in charge.

There is a growing disconnect with the people who are in charge, there is an undercurrent of anger and frustration and I am afraid that it will boil over and it will get ugly fast, we have the people in D.C doubling down in stupid and actually pushing for a confrontation....they believe that the power of the state is superior to all and that a people need to do what they are told.  This is Anathema to a free people and it will force a fight for the direction of the United State...If we will remain a free nation or continue the slide toward socialism and the chains of slavery where all we are is a resource to be used by the state and discarded when we have no value and the dream that was the United States will be in the dustbin of history.

Dammm, I hate being right....

Well I was riding around doing errands and I was listening to the news today and I hear "Dear Leader" say that any negotiations with the GOP will have to have no stipulations, he wants to have a clean slate budget passed and he also want the debt ceiling raised BEFORE he is willing to talk to the GOP.   Damm, I hate being right, I figured the intransigence was due to the debt ceiling, so the FEDGOV can borrow more money to keep the bennies flowing to the looter class so they can expand it and stay in power.  I talked about it last Friday.  Even the lamestream media is starting to notice the strident tones coming from the White House,  and the total unwillingness of the president to want to talk to congress, he is acting imperial and they are starting to notice that.  Not enough cracks are in the facade to break the total support they have for him.     The affordable care act has started off to a rough start, and many people that actually are trying to use the exchange are discovering that the system is crashing due to many incompatibility issues and plugins that it is using.  I have heard guestimates of 6 months to fix all the problems.

That isn't all, they are finding out that all the information that they are entering is freely available to all facets of the government, that there is no expectation of privacy and there have had sites hacked and peoples personal information stolen.   Also people have started getting their adjusted insurance in the mail the new insurance that is in compliance with Obunglercare:   Here is an excerpt:

Cindy Vinson and Tom Waschura are big believers in the Affordable Care Act. They vote independent and are proud to say they helped elect and re-elect President Barack Obama.
Yet, like many other Bay Area residents who pay for their own medical insurance, they were floored last week when they opened their bills: Their policies were being replaced with pricier plans that conform to all the requirements of the new health care law.
They voted for Obungler and Obunglercare and now they are getting just what they deserve. Ain't Schadenfreude a bitch
Vinson, of San Jose, will pay $1,800 more a year for an individual policy, while Waschura, of Portola Valley, will cough up almost $10,000 more for insurance for his family of four.
The Messiah said that if people like their policies and their insurance companies...they can keep them....Yeah Right...
…
I was laughing at Boehner — until the mail came today,”
Waschura said, referring to House Speaker John Boehner, who is leading the Republican charge to defund Obamacare.

“I really don’t like the Republican tactics, but at least now I can understand why they are so pissed about this. When you take $10,000 out of my family’s pocket each year, that’s otherwise disposable income or retirement savings that will not be going into our local economy.”
 "Welcome to the Party Pal..."
The Republicans are trying to help you, you clueless idiots. They told you this law would be a disaster, but you believed all the bullshit Obungler, ex-Speaker Nancy "You have to pass it to see what is in it", and Harry the ghoul  were pushing and you voted for this disaster. You voted to screw yourselves.  You voted against your economic interest in the interest of "fairness" and Diversity....and it now bit you in the ass...
“Of course, I want people to have health care,” Vinson said. “I just didn’t realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally.”
You can read more at the Link

I have been told by several liberals   "Well it is the law of the land...so deal with it."  I replied  "Well so was Dredd Scott and 700,000 Americans died fixing that little problem.   You really want to go there again?"

Now "Dear Leader" is pushing for a blank check on the debt ceiling, and he is totally expecting the establishment GOP to fold and capitulate like the French did in 1940, and for those that don't understand the reference, France had what many experts considered the most powerful modern armed forces in Europe, but Germany had a new way of fighting and the French were divided up with internal division, also a social rot had permeated the culture and many of the French when the time came to fight for their country, they just rolled over, they were mentally beaten by an inferior force but better tactics and leadership.  Now Obungler wants more money to spend,
I also hear the same place at the Washington mall that was closed by imperial fiat to the average citizen and WWII vets, somehow is open so a  future democrat voters pro amnesty rally can be held today......The double standards are galling and many people still are clueless what is going one.   I am trying to wrap my head around this and I am having a hard time with it.

Here we go again....

What is the Defination of insanity:
Doing the same thing again......and expecting different results........
They are never going to learn.....
U.S. Department of Justice photo
U.S. Department of Justice
I’ve been through this routine before … I’ve gone to great lengths to explain how the Community Reinvestment Act led to our housing crisis, which led to our current economic woes.  For a quick recap: The Community Reinvestment Act was based on the brilliant idea that government would require financial institutions to lend to unqualified borrowers.  Knowing what you now know about how this government mandate led to our financial collapse,
You should be outraged when you read this.
In what could be a repeat of the easy-lending cycle that led to the housing crisis, the Justice Department has asked several banks to relax their mortgage underwriting standards and approve loans for minorities with poor credit as part of a new crackdown on alleged discrimination, according to court documents reviewed by IBD.
Prosecutions have already generated more than $20 million in loan set-asides and other subsidies from banks that have settled out of court rather than battle the federal government and risk being branded racist. An additional 60 banks are under investigation, a DOJ spokeswoman says.
Settlements include setting aside prime-rate mortgages for low-income blacks and Hispanics with blemished credit and even counting "public assistance" as valid income in mortgage applications.
If we can take anything from our current state of economic misery, it could at least be a lesson in how not to let it happen again.  But this is what you get when you have an administration that does not understand what got us here in the first place (government mandates), nor how to fix it (more government spending and mandates).  Instead, this administration insists on blaming Wall Street, fat cat bankers and the evil, filthy disgusting rich who are flying around on their private jets
