More thoughts on the Influence of President Obama on the "Russiagate kerfluffle"

 

 I shamelessly clipped this from a guy I follow on farcebook by the name of Michael Smith., he is spot on on his assertion about President Obama influence on this.  I hope some heads roll for this. but truth be told, I don't think the Republicans have the spine for this. whereas if the situation was the reverse, the donks would do it in a new york minute and because they have the entire academia, media, and outrage complex behind them, would make it stick. 

I’ve long believed Obama’s hands were dirty in every aspect of the “Get Trump” affair.

This is just not something a little insurrection-ey the members of a coffee klatch cooked up in an Alexandra Starbucks and then decided it was worth doing. This is something that gets done because you are completely dedicated and devoted to a charismatic leader you believe somehow supersedes all others in wisdom, purity and leadership and want to see his legacy become real and permanent, and you are willing to break every oath, every law, and ignore the Constitution to see it through.

For people to risk their reputations – in truth, risk life and limb - to run a decades long operation to try to stop a candidate from being elected and when he beat the odds, to try to manufacture a process to end his presidency before it started, to impeach him twice, then try literally every trick in the book to destroy his business, his family , his inner circle, and to imprison him for civil, criminal, and national security crimes seems way too Jim Jones/Peoples Temple-ish.

This is about hatred of Trump, but I think it is more about total devotion to Obama – mostly because what people did represented great personal risk – bordering on sedition and possibly extending to treason.

The notion that a DOJ operation targeting a rival party’s candidate could proceed without the sitting president’s knowledge or approval is unthinkable. Obama, known for his calculated oversight, likely relied on Susan Rice as an intermediary to maintain plausible deniability until Trump’s unexpected 2016 victory over “Madam NeverPresident” Hillary Clinton forced his direct involvement.

The question in my mind isn’t whether Obama was complicit - it’s just how deep his involvement ran. With DNI Tulsi Gabbard now accessing classified records and referring them to the authorities and Congress, the extent of Obama’s role may soon come to light.

The Jack Smith J6 indictment of former President Donald Trump fierce debate, drawing parallels to the actions of Al Gore in 2000 and Hillary Clinton in 2016. If the legal threshold applied to Trump were universally enforced, both Gore and Clinton could face severe consequences for their roles in challenging election results. Gore’s prolonged legal battle over Florida’s vote count in 2000, which delayed the certification of George W. Bush’s victory, and Clinton’s persistent 2016 claims that Trump’s presidency was “illegitimate” due to alleged Russian interference, could be interpreted as undermining electoral trust - much like the accusations against Trump.

The left claimed – and still claims – that “election denialism” is some kind of disqualifying belief, even as they indulge in it.

For example, Hillary Clinton’s public statements, including her 2019 assertion that the election was “stolen,” mirror the rhetoric she criticized in Trump. Similarly, figures like James Clapper, James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, John Brennan, and the 50 intelligence officials who falsely labeled Hunter Biden’s laptop as “Russian disinformation” in 2020 could and should face legal scrutiny for peddling misleading narratives to sway voters. Their actions, often justified as protecting national security, suggest a pattern of manipulating public perception to influence elections.

A key example of this interference is the January 5, 2017, White House meeting involving Strzok, Susan Rice, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Sally Yates. Declassified notes reveal they discussed surveilling Michael Flynn, Trump’s incoming national security advisor, and withholding critical information from the Trump team. This meeting, far from a one-off, was part of a broader effort tied to the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, launched in July 2016 to probe Trump’s campaign based on flimsy evidence like the Steele dossier - a document later discredited for its unverified claims. By the time the 2020 election loomed, Crossfire Hurricane had evolved into a sprawling operation, raising questions about its true purpose: was it to investigate or to sabotage?

And remember Rice’s memo to herself, written on January 20, 2017, claiming Obama insisted everything be “by the book”? Why even have any written evidence of that meeting, especially a memo that reeks of a cover-your-ass move.

This may well turn into one of those “we know” situations where we lack enough hard proof to overcome the horrific thought of dealing with, and punishing, the aftermath of the greatest conspiracy to attack the Constitution and American sovereignty in the history of this nation. I think the only hope there are more than a few breadcrumbs is that this group of saboteurs were far more arrogant than they were smart or careful. Whether enough clear evidence can be found and substantiated is still open – and assuming there is something concrete, perhaps the biggest question is whether our judicial system has the courage to pursue them against a former two term president and his Mission Insurrection team.

A Time To Hate

This has been making the rounds on several blogs, I saw it on American Spectator, and it resonated with me, the Gentleman wrote exactly what I felt, When President Obama won, I wasn't happy, but I rolled with it and accepted it because that is what Americans do, we accept the results and if you candidate don't win, well, you have 4 years to pull a better one out.  And 4 years later, we tried again with Romney, and the 2012 election was his to lose, and when he allowed himself to get rolled in the 2nd debate by Candy Crowley and I knew it was over, he was too nice, the media was all in the tank for the messiah and it would take some one that was willing to get in the mud and fight back.  Cue in the 2016 election, and Donald Trump threw his hat in the ring, at first the media treated him as a joke as he started talking and finetuning his message to the middle class, the ones that have been forgotten by all the globalization, the ones that have seen all the jobs go overseas and they have to take jobs at walmart to make ends meet.  He tapped into that resentment and off to the races we went.  Donald Trump fought back against the media and the democrats, all the dirty tricks, all the slime, he was "Teflon Don", and nothing stuck, because he wouldn't let nothing stick.  And when he won against Felonia Von Pantsuit, the Designated successor for the Messiah's term, the Left exploded in Rage.  the 20 years of globalization that was so close was almost at hand, 2 more terms with Felonia in charge and the illegals permanently ensconced and given voting privileges, the GOP would never win another election and power would be with the Democrats for generations and the United States would have been permanently lessened among nations as was the plan and globalization utopia was at hand.

Through eight years, I accepted the rules of the game. Obama was president. He won fair and square because the Republicans serially put up two milquetoast opponents who were incapable of offering a vision or articulating a message that inspired. John McCain had been an American wartime hero who stood by his men, refused early release, and withstood torture in the “Hanoi Hilton” 40 years earlier. But he had no business running for a presidency two generations later for which he was not prepared to fight and for which he had no vision. And then came Mitt Romney, his etch-a-sketch candidacy, his binders full of women, and his Romneycare, which served as the model for the Obamacare and which was the single most galvanizing issue in 2012 for Republican conservatives. In order to throw out Obamacare, the Republican Party offered us conservatives … what, Romneycare? Tough for us conservatives to sing in that tabernacle choir.
I accepted Obama. I never articulated his first name, and I never called him “president,” but I accepted the results and accepted that this Pretender was our country’s lawfully elected chief executive. I watched his arrogance, the unctuous way he carried himself literally with his nose up, the way he never held a railing while walking a stairway because he was too cool, the kinds of human dreck he regularly invited as his White House guests, and I accepted it all with the soft whisper, “This, too, shall pass.” I watched the Corrupt Journalist Corps idolize him, crown him a king, admire him as a messiah and a deity, and I accepted the milieu. This, too, in time would pass. It meant living through eight years of the deepest public corruption. Lois Lerner stealing an election by leveraging the awesome power of the Internal Revenue Service to close down legitimate conservative political groups. Eric Holder — the nobleman who urged people to kick enemies — bringing lawlessness and corruption into the Justice Department, even approving the “Fast and Furious” idea of releasing lethal weapons to Mexican drug lords in the cockamamie scheme to find out how they access and move their weapons. Glenn Beck exposed Obama’s Maoist communications director, Anita Dunn, who walked children through the White House. There was ACORN. Just one corruption after another.

I hate that Donald Trump never was given a chance to be President of the United States for even one day’s honeymoon.

Amid my speeches and writings throughout the Wasted Obama Decade, I never published a piece aimed at bringing down Obama before his term was up. He won. Although he is despicable beyond words, the rules of our game, as set forth in our precious Constitution, made him our president. That meant Americans would die needlessly because we had a commander in chief who was a Pretender and an Incompetent. But he won fair and square. So ISIS grew from a small terror band to a caliphate. ISIS-inspired terror attacks occurred in our homeland. Western Europe sustained terrible deadly attacks. Our American economy went nowhere. We micturated half a billion dollars down a toilet with Solyndra while trying to close down our energy sector, attacking the genius of our hydraulic fracturing, obstructing our oil exploration, blocking the construction of new pipelines that offered even more oil and more thousands of jobs. Instead, we got shovel-ready jobs that were not ready but rather were chummy payoffs to union heads and other political insiders. We got windmills suitable for blowhards. We got Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State and Benghazi as testimonial to her vision. We got Susan Rice, an idiot, raised paradoxically to head of national security after spending a day lying on five television stations about Benghazi and later going on to describe Bowe Bergdahl, a coward and deserter, as a hero who had served with honor and distinction. We got Loretta Lynch, who some thought would clean up Holder’s corruption of Justice, only to find that she ended up in bed with the Clintons at the height of the probe of Hillary’s corruption. We saw the world’s worst murderers freed from Gitmo so that they could rejoin the war against America.
And yet I accepted it all. Because if there are only two main parties in this country, and if the Republican RINOs refuse repeatedly to nominate a bona fide conservative who truly reflects the will of the rank-and-file voters whose ballots send them to Washington, then we are left with a Pretender like Obama, and he won fair and square.

The waters did not stop rising on Obama’s watch. The Earth was not healed. On his watch, a country that finally had healed itself from the shame and scourge of imposing slavery on human beings more than a century earlier, a country that had atoned and that had created and institutionalized a new social infrastructure by which people no longer were denied because of their skin color or religion — a country that reflected that healing by electing a Black man president despite his manifest lack of personal achievement, close ties with an organized-crime felon, and questionable biography — suddenly erupted into a new era of racial bitterness. Michael Brown and Ferguson aflame amid the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” lie promoted by Obama and by Eric Holder but shot down by a Missouri grand jury. Freddie Gray and Baltimore aflame followed by a series of outright judicial exonerations handed down by a Black judge who saw that every accused cop had acted properly and lawfully. A lowlife killed by George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida, a thug whom Obama told us would have been the likes of his own son if he had had a son. Eight years of racial divide, social division aimed at tearing us up as a color-blind and religion-blind American People, just to promote electoral successes.
And yet I accepted that Obama had won. No derangement syndrome for me. It was what it was. As a New York Mets fan from their founding in 1962, I understood what it was to wait patiently and to endure eight years of unmitigated disaster. As a boy, I waited then, and then came Tom Seaver, Jerry Koosman, and Nolan Ryan. As an adult I waited. And then came Donald Trump and Mike Pence.
When the Mets finally took it all in 1969, the other teams accepted the results. They lost gracefully. Now it was the Mets’ turn, and they had won it fair and square. But these past three years have been something different. Trump and Pence won fair and square. But there was no grace. Rather, there was instant character assassination, instant war, instant denial. Advertisements urging electors to violate their Electoral College oaths. Fabrications of collusion with Putin. Investigations that hamstrung a presidency. Lies and innuendoes leaked and published by the unindicted co-conspirators we call the “mainstream media.” A never-ending hunt to find scandals and Trump accusers: a bimbo who pole-danced at bars, her lawyer who now dances behind bars, another crooked lawyer who tape-recorded his own clients and now is locked up, disbarred from the Bar. One cartoon character after another.
As a rabbi of 40 years and a person who believes that most people have the potential for goodness, and who tries to find the good even in people who disappoint until they absolutely close off the possibility of goodness being discovered within them, I now have learned to hate.
The Bible certainly does not encourage hate. “Do not hate your brother in your heart. [If he does wrong, go ahead and] Rebuke your compatriot, but do not sin because of him” (Leviticus 19:17). “Do not seek revenge, and do not bear a grudge against the children of your people. And you shall love your neighbor as you love yourself” (Leviticus 19:18). But the Bible acknowledges the existence of viciousness and cruelty, and it demands of decent people that we not sit on the fence in the face of evil: “Those who love G-d hate evil” (Psalm 97:10). King Solomon laid it out best in that magnificently poetic third chapter of Ecclesiastes, which inspired not only The Byrds but even Pete Seeger and Judy Collins.
Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice, and moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue. There is a time to hate.
I have come deeply to hate. I hate that Donald Trump never was given a chance to be president of the United States for even one day’s honeymoon. I hate that, long before he won the presidency — fair and square — corrupt crooks and criminals in the United States Department of Justice, its Federal Bureau of Investigation, were actively plotting to take him down. I hate that there are so few outlets in the media that give voice to condemn the criminality and corruption that broke every accepted societal norm by which we play the game. I hate that Obama was in on it, yet continues to pontificate on what is just and on what threatens freedom.
I hate that they all keep getting away with it. Every single one of them gets away with it. There is absolutely no price to be paid on the left for perjury, for conspiracy to overturn a legitimate election, for treason.
Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn may or may not be a great American hero. Yes, he has the medals and the military career for which we all say, “Thank you for your service.” But so did John McCain, and so does that Vindman guy. OK, so thank you for your service. Absolutely. But Michael Flynn, whether a hero or simply, merely just a lifelong patriot who has devoted his entire adult life to the protection and betterment of the United States, wanted to serve his country. So he served honorably in the military under Obama as commander in chief. He accepted the chain of command. And then, after his active military service, he stepped forward to participate politically under Trump.
Lt. Gen. Flynn never deserved what was done to him. He was targeted for destruction by criminals and crooks in the FBI. They set out to destroy him. The FBI is not allowed to bother law-abiding people like you and me, to set us up, and to induce us to commit a crime. They are permitted to pursue criminal investigations only when they have a predicate before them. In the case of Flynn, they had in their possession a complete recording and transcript of his phone call with Sergey Kislyak. Yet they interviewed him and asked him to tell them what was said during the call. The Bureau of Investigation was not investigating; they already knew the answer. Rather, they were setting him up to speak a falsehood, to commit the crime of lying to the FBI, an act whose criminal dimensions he did not appreciate as a layman. They dissuaded him from having an attorney at the interview so he would slip into the trap. A competent attorney would have protected him. Frankly, a competent attorney would have killed the interview in the first place or would have wrangled terms that would have negated its purpose, much as Hillary did.
For each question, even if such an interview ever would have happened, an attorney like me would have been saying, alternating between my client and his interrogator: “Lieutenant General, you do not have to answer that question. Go ahead, what’s the next question?” Or “Lieutenant General, please wait a moment. What is the purpose of this question? What exactly are you asking?” Or “My client, the Lieutenant General, is delighted he could give you eight minutes of his valuable time today. If you want to ask him any more questions along these lines, send us a subpoena. We will study it and let you know our thoughts.”
They took advantage of a good man who suddenly found himself combating in a different kind of military theater outside his field of expertise. He knew the jungles of Afghanistan, not the jungles of the Justice Department in Washington. The slime dregs of Justice, the Peter Strzoks and Andrew McCabes of the FBI, knew this. They had the lieutenant general on their terrain. He never should have been questioned about the call. He never should have been sucked into an interview without an attorney present. He never should have been lulled into what he said to the FBI.
Donald Trump has been the chief executive of this country for more than three years, and he has proven to be a great president in so many ways, but he sadly has proven incapable of cleaning the swamp. He at least identified the swamp’s existence, and he is fighting its effort to swallow him within its muck. But he has proven that, despite the glorious slogan he inspired, he cannot drain it. Not one single slime in the swamp has been brought to justice.
There is something so evil in a society that tolerates a dual standard of justice, dual standards of everything. On the one hand, we political conservatives harbor profoundly deep feelings, but we do not destroy people’s lives based on abstract politics. Yes, we oppose them and expose them, and we hope that contemporary society and history judge them for the evil they represent. But we do not destroy them in their lives. They get away with everything. Hillary Clinton spoliated 33,000 emails amid a federal probe, a federal crime that always ends up with prison time — but not for her. It is a federal crime to lie under oath to Congress. Comey, Clapper, Brennan — how have they all avoided prison time? Strzok, Page, the whole bunch of them? Adam Schiff. The outliers on the Mueller team. Not one single slime among them in the swamp has been brought to justice.
These animals destroyed the life of Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. They drove him into such financial ruin that he had to sell his home to pay his legal bills. They went after a good boy, Nick Sandmann, and they cruelly made him into the face of racism. His own Catholic diocese in eastern Kentucky sold him out and sold out all the boys who stood with him that fateful day in Washington, D.C., when he was harassed by a messed-up Indian with a drum. And they did everything they could to destroy Brett Kavanaugh, a good man, a family man, a man who has devoted time throughout his life to his church and to the need. They endeavored through outright perjury to destroy him. The perjurers all got away with it. Name one single perjurer against Justice Kavanaugh who ever was brought to justice by Charles Grassley or Lindsey Graham of the Senate Judicial Committee.
The liars destroy with impunity because they know they always will get away with it. Republicans watch the character assassination and then go on Sean Hannity to sound brave for five minutes. “These people will pay a steep price, Sean.” “I won’t let them get away with it, Sean.” “Let not your heart be troubled, Sean.” “We will investigate every crime and every perjury, Sean.” Three years of hearing this from Paul Ryan, Reince Priebus, Trey Gowdy, Charles Grassley, Lindsey Graham, Rudy Giuliani, Jason Chaffetz, Kevin McCarthy. Well, Fox News Alert: They all got away with it. Comey. Brennan. Clapper. Blasey Ford. Schiff. Hillary. Strzok. Page. McCabe.
If the Left truly believed in the truth of the slogans they chanted in their failed effort to destroy Justice Kavanaugh, does anyone truly believe that Biden still would be standing today? Does anyone truly believe that Sonia Sotomayor could not have been completely destroyed at the time of her SCOTUS nomination if she were conservative? If the media were not a division of the Democrat Party, does anyone doubt that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo today would have been forced from office like his immediate predecessors, Eliot Spitzer and David Paterson, if only for presiding over so extraordinary a health catastrophe that his one state accounts for half the coronavirus illnesses and deaths in the whole country? Cuomo ordered nursing homes in his state to admit coronavirus-infected seniors into facilities that were woefully unprepared to handle the medical ramifications, and that order singularly caused mass death. And yet the same media that seek any and every angle to blame Trump for not wearing a mask lionize Cuomo, who not only should wear a mask but also should change his fingerprints, undergo plastic surgery to reconfigure his appearance, and hide for dear life in some El Chapo cave from the children and grandchildren left behind by the more than 5,000 defenseless seniors whom he has martyred so far on the altar of Democrat liberalism.
There is a time to love and a time to hate. This is a time to hate.

I wasn't sure if the dogs will be eating or be eaten due to Obunglers's dietary needs.  I do know that if they were in indonesia, Rover would be served alongside rice and bowl of the local seasoning. 

     For people that are so concerned about the poor, especially since they have tried to create soo many of them, by pillaging the middle class.  Since Barack Obama has become president, the 1%ers have gotten richer and the poor have gotten poorer.  I wonder what the income gap is now from 2008.  The Middle class is the one taking it on the chin with this Obama Economy.

 The 4 fastest growing counties in income are the ones around D.C on the Potomac.  Totalitarian regimes like there to be a very rich and a very poor, no middle class so that means that there is no movement from one group to another.  The Poor will depend on the government for sustenance and provide votes and other forms of loyalty to the junta and the rich will continue to do what they do and there is stability.  That is what central government types like...stability so they can plan the next 5 year economy.

Now if anybody tries to take me to task for picking on the first lady, there is an unwritten rule:

   If the First Lady stays out of politics, then she is "off Limits".  Same with the kids.  Well Michelle Obama campaigned tirelessly for her husband in the 2012 election cycle, so she is fair game.

Syria and how our President got punked by Putin...

Well, if you’re one of those out there who has thus far failed to see the dominance of Vladimir Putin in the Putin/Obama relationship … the light surely must be shining now.  In the last 24 hours The Chicago Messiah has managed to show not only America, but the rest of the world, just how weak he is on the world stage.
            A bit of a recap here to show you what kind of a bind Obama was in:

• Obama goes off-teleprompter (always a dangerous thing) and comes up with this “red line” gaff.  He is then on the record as saying that Assad will be dealt with harshly if he dares to use chemical weapons.
• Assad uses (or at least Obungler and Flipper say he used) chemical weapons against his own people.
• Obama realizes how badly he screwed up with his “red line” comment.  His credibility, whatever is left of it, is on the line.
• Obama seeks help from Great Britain.  For the first time since 1792 the British Parliament refuses to go along with a request from the Prime Minister to use force.  Obama is in this on his own.  I guess repeatedly being dissed by Obama has its repercussions.
• Obama needs someone to stand with him on this, so he tells the nation he will seek an approval vote for the Congress.  Nothing like pushing the possibility of failure on Congress.  It soon becomes clear the congress is not going along.  The Senate .. maybe … but not the house.  Obama is feeling even more lonely and exposed.  I guess Congress don't want to be the fall guy for another Obungler failure.
• Obama calls in the campaign team, Plouffe et al.  It’s not policy he’s looking for, it’s words.  They tell him to tell the world that the red line isn’t really his.  Fail.It doesn't matter that there is proof all over youtube that Obungler drew the red line.  Perhaps the media will cover for him...as they always have.
• Virtually all polls taken of the American people show strong opposition to Obama’s planned attack on Syria.  We as Americans know that there is no American interest to be served getting involved.  The attitude is basically "they are killing each other....not us."

      Putin (background – ass-kicking KGB operative) sees a way to take advantage of this situation to both embarrass and establish a stronger dominance over 0bama (background – pot-smoking community organizer and freeloader).  Putin heard John Kerry make a bit of a mistake at a presser.  Flipper is asked what Assad can do to avoid an attack.  The Flipper suggests that Assad could turn over his chemical weapons.  The White House immediately refutes the idea, and Flipper’s handlers start trying to walk the comment back.  But Putin was listening … and he makes his move.
      Putin, loyal to his primary goal here is to keep his pal Assad in power, immediately seizes on Kerry’s idea and makes it a firm proposal.  Just that quickly Putin takes control.
      Now Obama sees a way out.  He knows that Putin is controlling the situation here, but at least now he can avoid an embarrassing congressional “no” vote, the first in American history.  But hmmmmmm.  Maybe Obama can get some of his grove back here.  So he tells us that he was actually talking about this plan for Assad to give up his chemical weapons when he was meeting with Putin last week!  Yeah … sure.

      So …. Here we are.  Harry Reid has already put off the Senate vote.  After tonight’s speech by Obama Reid will probably announce that the vote is postponed indefinitely.  The House may go ahead with a vote, but in light of Putin’s little parlay that vote will be cast as nothing more than an attempt to embarrass the anointed one.
      An agreement will be reached between the ass-kicker, the community organizer and the gasser for Syria to turn over “all” of its chemical weapons.  Of course “all” of the weapons will not be turned over.  There will be inspections, but Putin will work with Assad to make sure the inspections are not too thorough.  In the end Assad will keep a good portion of those chemical weapons, and Putin will supply him with even more arms including the S-300 series missile system.
       Down the road chemicals weapons will be utilized again and Assad can say " I turned in all the chemical weapons...Must be some rebel faction using it."   
     Obama's foreign policy is like an episode of the "Keystone Cops", total amateurs bumbling from one crisis to another most of them due to their own making.

   I have stated in past post that the active assistance of government agencies of a president is dangerous to the republic.  We went to a merit type system to prevent government jobs being tied to political patronage as was the past system like the Tammany Hall system of patronage.  Now we have government agencies in active support for certain candidates and certain political parties.  This will cause a further disconnect where we have government that will actively target certain groups.  When people have faith no longer in their vote or ability to vote without being persecuted will cause a farther chasm in the political system.  When people believe that they have no say any longer in the voting process, they will start doing other things from going Galt to civil disobedience to active resistance and possible revolt.

With certain limitations understood (we don’t know the affiliations of non-donors), the chart above looks more like the political affiliations of Ivy League women’s-studies departments than those of an allegedly impartial federal bureaucracy.
The civil-service system was designed to replace the spoils system, which — in addition to creating chaotic rushes of office-seekers with each change of administration — packed political hacks into important administrative positions. A civil service was supposed to change that unacceptable reality by placing the administration of the more neutral functions of the government into the hands of dispassionate professionals. Thus the strong federal job security in the civil service, greater security than enjoyed by virtually any private-sector employee. The job security — so the argument goes — was necessary to prevent the re-emergence of blatant political patronage.
But what if the combination of increasingly activist government with strong bureacratic bias re-creates federal service as a kind of permanent spoils system for the Left? Isn’t it inevitable that this leftist bureaucracy will eventually view itself not as a servant for all citizens but as an instrument of its own righteous ideology?
If the recent history of our universities is any guide, the products of a leftist bureacratic monoculture will be characterized by the following:
Ignorance: Groups of like-minded people are notoriously incurious about the ideas and perspectives of dissenters.
Condescension: They don’t let ignorance stand in the way of a bulletproof sense of moral and intellectual superiority.
Hatred: Since all the good people they know agree with them, they ascribe the worst of motives to the other side, believing them to be motivated by little more than greed and bigotry.
And, finally . . .
Fanaticism: Cass Sunstein described the ”Law of Group Polarization like this: “In a striking empirical regularity, deliberation tends to move groups, and the individuals who compose them, toward a more extreme point in the direction indicated by their own predeliberation judgments.” In other words, when like-minded individuals deliberate, their common views grow more extreme over time.
We conservatives have a problem with Big Government, no matter who’s running it. But we also have a particular problem with this big government, as key agencies are increasingly staffed and run by individuals who wield enormous power, cannot be fired, and despise roughly half the American population. When Barack Obama urges supporters to “PUNISH OUR ENEMIES,” there are many federal employees only too willing to comply.

The U.S. Government...What we wish....and what it has become...

I saw this surfing the web, but due to my wacky schedule I was unable to post it until now.  With Cub day camp 2013 over, my schedule will return to a sense of normalcy....or something like that.

This is the image we have of Uncle Sam that I remember from growing up and the way my parents and grand parents spoke.  This represents the America that lives in our dreams and ideals.

This is what the government has become.  When the President of the United States or his lackeys are able to use the organs of the state to harass their political opponants and intimidate them, there is something wrong with this picture.  This is the policy of the banana republics and other 3rd world shitholes to do stuff like this.

Impeachment possibilities and Monday Music

I still an seeing on the blogosphere that there is a lot of people that want to see Obama and his minions impeached.  From what I am seeing on the news...Eric Holder may be the first one to get picked off.  Mr Holder D.O.J have a lot of things going on from "Operation fast and Furious" to failure to prosecute the black panthers voter intimidation case from 2008 to visiting the AP and getting a bunch of phone records from the reporters and The Obama Administration fought to keep a search warrant for James Rosen’s private e-mail account secret, arguing to a federal judge that the government might need to monitor the account for a lengthy period of time.
The new details are revealed in a court filing detailing a back and forth between the Justice Department and the federal judges who oversaw the request to search a Gmail account belonging to Rosen, a reporter for Fox News.
The new details show U.S. Attorney Ron Machen argued in 2010 that the traditional 30-day notice period did not apply to Fox News reporter James Rosen. Justice wanted to secretly monitor Rosen’s Gmail account.
Machen, through a separate court order, also successfully stopped Google from telling Rosen that the government was spying on his e-mail account. Machen demanded to see all of Rosen’s e-mail records, including his deleted messages, e-mails in his trash folder and all attachments sent to and from the reporter.

The government successfully argued to keep the search warrant under seal for 18 months before making it public in November, 2011.
Meanwhile, the Justice Department said on Friday that senior officials including Attorney General Eric Holder vetted a decision to search an email account belonging to a Fox News reporter whose story on North Korea prompted a leak investigation.  The D.O.J lied  mislead to a judge to get the wiretap warrent and search warrent to Rosen.  This is a continuing scandal that will continue to stir problems for the Obama Administration.  Also We still have Bengazi in the news, this will hurt Hillery in 2016, from what I have seen and read, the Clintons have no love for Obama and crew who ripped her off on the democrat nominations for president in 2008 relating to her delegates.  She may wind up taking the fall on account of Bengazi.  Only time will tell.
    We also have the IRS scandal continuing to cause more headaches for the Obama administration, there are democrat and republicans talking about a special prosecutor to investigate the IRS targeting conservative groups.   If a special prosecutor is appointed, he will have the authority to dig much farther and this will cause a major embarrassment for the Obama whitehouse.  I believe that this goes all the way to the top.  This is Chicago politics writ large.  Obama is doing the same thing he did when first started his political career.  Dig up all the dirt on your opponents and use your friends to make things difficult for your enemies. 
    There may be a unanticipated factor in all this.  You know that if Obama steps down because of all the scandals...guess who will take over.  Vice President Biden.  I am positive that Biden is out of the loop, he is a loose cannon and cannot keep his mouth shut.  I belive that he was excluded on account of his "open mouth first and insert foot then think about what he said".  Imagine President Biden.....Now that is scary.

    On a different note, we will have our Monday Music. I am going with "Allentown" from Billy Joel, I remember a line from the song, "The jobs went away and the union people crawled away" this happened when in the video it showed a worker getting his pink slip while in the shower.  I thought about this when my job went away at Ford motor company.

Also, it was featured in Hangover II (2011) "Allentown" is the lead track on The Nylon Curtain, which was the seventh best-selling album of the year in 1982. The song reached #17 on the Billboard Hot 100,^[1] spending six consecutive weeks at that position and certified gold. The song's theme is of the resolve of those coping with the demise of the American manufacturing industry in the latter part of the 20th century. The introductory rhythm of the song is reminiscent of the sound of a rolling mill converting steel ingots into I-beams or other shapes. Such a sound was commonly heard throughout South Bethlehem when the Bethlehem Steel plant was in operation from 1857 through 1995.
    
When Joel first started writing the song, it was originally named "Levittown", after the Long Island town right next to Hicksville, the town in which Joel had grown up. He had originally written a chord progression and lyrics for the song, but struggled for a topic for the song. Joel remembered reading about the decline of the steel industry in the Lehigh Valley, which included the small cities of both Bethlehem and Allentown. While the steel industry was based in Bethlehem with none of it in Allentown, Joel named the song "Allentown" because it sounded better and it was easier to find other words to rhyme with "Allentown." Although Joel started writing the song in the late 1970s, it wasn't finished until 1982.
Truly, though as he was struggling for a title for the song(who knows). I met Billy in a bar in Washington D.C. called the "Crazy Horse". I was sitting at the bar and this guy next to me asked me for a cigarette. I said "sure", he said "thanks, I'll dedicate my next album to you". I said, "what, are you a star or something?" He said, "kinda". I asked him, what's your name, he said "Billy" (and I began thinking of who was named Billy that was a star).
The night went on, he was enticed with the waitress at the bar (this is before C.B.) and wrote her a note on a napkin (and signed it)(keep in mind we are still sitting next to each other). She threw the note the trash (discreetly).
So, were sitting there, having a good time, and it dawns on me, who he may be. I turn to him and asked "are you Billy Joel?" he says "don't let anyone know I'm in here". I say "OK" and we just kept sitting there and having a good time joking around and stuff. Anyway, later, he asks me if If I want to meet some of his friends who were with him and I said "OK". We strolled around the club and he introduced me to his brother and some football players that were accompanying him. That was all cool (wish I could have remembered all their names).
So were hanging out, walking around and talking and he asks me if I want to go to a party with all of them later on, I said that would be cool (or something like that). We shook hands and departed each others company. Well, that's kinda where the story ends as, we went our separate ways (around the club). Never hooked up with them (the entourage) again.
Although he didn't dedicate the album to me, I think the thought stuck in his head "I'll dedicate my next album to you". He did, my name is Allen Hinton and whether you believe it or not, it's my story................ ask Billy if it's true or not. I am Still alive and well Billy, Still alive and well, in North Carolina now my home.

A year after the song was released, the mayor of Allentown sent a letter to Joel about giving some of his royalties to the town. Mayor Joseph Daddona, who sent the letter, said it would help for scholarships for future musicians. On January 20, 1983, the letter was mailed to Joel, and a local paper published an article on the subject the next day, quoting Daddona as saying the following:

Not only would this fund be a great way to share a tiny part of your good fortune to others in Allentown, it would also help keep alive the 'Allentown' song and the Billy Joel legend (which you've already become here).

When Joel performed the song in Leningrad during the concert recorded and later released as Концерт, he introduced the song by analogizing the situation to that faced by Soviet youths:

This song is about young people living in the Northeast of America. Their lives are miserable because the steel factories are closing down. They desperately want to leave... but they stay because they were brought up to believe that things were going to get better. Maybe that sounds familiar.

The song was met with mixed responses in Allentown. Some criticized the song as degrading and full of working-class archetypes.^[4] But when Joel returned to the area following the album's release and the song became a hit record, he was awarded the key to the city by Allentown's mayor, who praised it as "a gritty song about a gritty city."
Before a sold-out crowd at Stabler Arena in neighboring Bethlehem, People magazine reported that Joel was greeted enthusiastically with a five minute standing ovation as he closed his third encore with "Allentown." At the end of the song and extended ovation, Joel was greeted with even more sustained applause when, in an apparent defense of the song's meaning, he pointedly told the Allentown crowd, as is his wont at the end of every one of his concerts: "Don't take any shit from anybody."^[5]

The video, directed by Russell Mulcahy, was in heavy rotation on MTV during 1982 and 1983. The original airing of the video featured partial male nudity in the opening of the song as steelworkers showered in their locker-room, but this scene was edited from subsequent airings on MTV.
    

Possible Plan of the President.... Endgame.?

I was working the airplane...it is nice when they cooperate with me and I don't have to say unkind things to them...Anybody that has a background on Customer Service will understand this.  Anyway..I was thinking about what the presidents endgame is....He is going out of the way to marginalize the GOP, blaming them for everything that has transpired..despite his hand in the events and he has a complicit media to assist him in his desires.   There was a news on Yahoo I saw earlier that has now vanished where President Obama wants to replace the democrats with his SUPERPAC, Apparently the democrats are having funding issues and Obama is flush with cash and wanting to create another group that will charge $500,000 to be part of this panel for access to the President.  Nothing like loading the warchest with more cash...Wait he can't run for a 3rd term...?   Well to let me continue...I believe that President Obama wants to marginalize the GOP to such an extent that the democrats will retake the house in 2014 and that they will be PERSONALLY beholding to him.  Nothing like getting the 22 amendment repealed(the one that limits a presidential term). 
     What the President will not realize or doesn't care is that right now the people that don't like his policies have the outlet of voting..it is a pressure release valve.  If they realize that voting is totally ineffective due to the machination of voting fraud and total suppression of the conservative votes, they will realize that voting is no longer effective, they will take more active approaches to their dislike of the policies of the President.   That is already a movement in the conservative atmosphere(for lack of another word.. I am an airplane mechanic, not a writer...so there....) to no longer vote, it is ineffective in stopping the federal government juggernaut.    As long as people believe that voting matters, there will be peace.  Once most of the conservative people realize that voting will no be effective then violence will start.

 I wonder if this is the endgame of the president..either mold the United States to his vision by political force...or start off a shooting war to compel people people to submit to his vision of utopia...the future of America.

Pledging allegiance to Obama...

I am a student of history and I find this extremely disturbing.   I am having visions of the past

Historical note: 19 August, Hitler gets 90 percent of the vote.

20 August a mandatory oath of fealty to the Führer was introduced:

"I swear: I shall be loyal and obedient to Adolf Hitler, the Führer of the German Reich and people, respect the laws, and fulfill my official duties conscientiously, so help me God."

Actress Jessica Alba uses the Pledge of Allegiance as an example of the campaign in an email to supporters.
“Growing up, my classmates and I started every day with a ritual: We’d stand up, put our right hand over our hearts, and say the Pledge of Allegiance,” explains Alba. “To me, that gesture was a promise. A promise to be involved and engaged in this country’s future. A promise to work for liberty and justice — and for affordable education, health care, and equality — for all.”
Alba joins Hollywood actresses Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson by photographing herself with her hand on her heart pledging to vote for Obama.
“That’s why all across the country, people like you and I are proudly writing down our reasons for getting involved, and then taking the pledge — to vote.”
Obama campaign staffers have also begun posting photos of themselves with the pledge.
“Make sure you’re ready to vote this fall,” Alba writes. “Putting your hand over your heart is making a promise. Casting your ballot is keeping it.”
