"How did most East Germans feel about being under Soviet rule? Did most eventually accept it and even came to believe that their system was better than West Germany's?"

I picked this off "Quora", it was some tidbits I didn't know.  I did know about the removal of heavy industry to the USSR under Stalin's orders, this is part of the "reparations" and to punish the Germans for what they did to the "Rodina", that did cause heavy resentment, and the heavy Soviet response to the 1953 protest.  It did cause some pucker factors with the Berlin Brigade. especially after a few years earlier when Stalin tried to push the allies out of West Berlin.  The Soviets viewed the East Germans as their private playground back then, and the "Osties" had to endure a lot as an occupied people, far worse than the West did.   It did get a little better as time went on, but but the Soviets called East Germany the "Land of Milk and Chocolate".  For a conscript posting, it was one of the far better postings, better equipment, training, and the locals didn't complain.

East Germans never believed their Soviet-backed system was superior. After tanks crushed a 1953 uprising, they didn't accept the regime—they retreated into a secret double life to outlast it.

This survival mechanism is best understood through the concept of the Nischengesellschaft, or "niche society." In the years immediately following World War II, genuine acceptance was nearly impossible. The trauma of Soviet occupation—marked by mass rapes and the dismantling of East German industry for reparations—had already fostered deep resentment. The brutal suppression of the 1953 protests over production quotas simply cemented a lingering lesson: active resistance was futile, and Soviet rule was there to stay.

Once the Berlin Wall went up in 1961 and emigration became nearly impossible, East Germans had to adapt. People retreated from public political life into private "niches," such as weekend garden plots (Datsche) and tight-knit family circles, where they could speak freely without fear of the Stasi, the state security apparatus.

This is not to say there was zero genuine support. A minority of committed socialists believed in the state's official anti-fascist ideology. Others took pride in specific aspects of the German Democratic Republic, such as guaranteed employment, extensive child care, cheap housing, and the nation's outsized success in Olympic sports. These social safety nets provided a sense of security that some later missed after reunification.

However, the regime could never convince the public that its system was fundamentally better than the West, largely because of television. The majority of East Germans could receive West German broadcasts (Westfernsehen). Every evening, they watched Western news and entertainment, contrasting the colorful, consumer-rich society of the Federal Republic with their own gray, dilapidated cities and chronic shortages of basic goods like fresh fruit or modern cars.

When the Soviet Union's grip loosened under Mikhail Gorbachev in the late 1980s, the illusion of acceptance evaporated. Hundreds of thousands of East Germans took to the streets in the autumn of 1989, not to reform the socialist state, but to dismantle it.

"Experience vs Education"

The Cartoon above I had saved several years ago, something like 6 years ago, for me it was telling, you ever see a cartoon that really makes a mark? well that one did with me.  I had had discussions with people that argued with me pitting their education against my experience and thinking that my experience was inferior to what they were taught, that somehow what I had seen and experienced with communism and when the wall fell was somehow not as worthy as what some professor regurgitated and my experiences were somehow not valid when I talked what I had experienced in the communist countries because what i had experienced wasn't "real communism"  Really?  My Experiences during the Gulf War were irrevelant and what their professor told them about Saddam being a peaceful msn and the rape of Kuwait, and gassing the Kurds, not withstanding?0
When I talk about the Soviets and what the Cold war was like, they immediately go with the United States was the aggressor and that the Soviets were only defending themselves....Really? then why were the Soviets exporting communism through the southern hemisphere and throughout the world, financed a bunch of terrorist groups like the "Baader Meinhof Gang", the "PLO", "Stasi" and any other communist or leftist groups out there.  Despite my family history of having maternal family members disappearing in the gulag systems of the communist countries of Eastern Europe. somehow my experiences don't matter, I was 8 years old when my mom took the oath of citizenship at the courthouse in Georgia in the early 1970's somehow my folks experiences going though the citizenship process don't mean anything compared to the illegals that jumped the border during sleepy Joe's presidency. My folks made sure that they did things the right way, but somehow that is now the wrong way, its bizarro world.    I am getting to the point that i don't want to talk to anyone anymore, people ask what has made me angry and not want to talk to people any more and this is what did it for me.

I find myself not wanting to talk to people anymore.

I clipped this from Michael Smith off farcebook

I've written a couple of essays that touch on the value of experience and the danger of lacking it.
It matters that people born after 2001 did not witness the Towers falling.
It matters that people born since the Berlin Wall fell only know what they have been taught, rather than living with the experience of a divided Berlin where the differences between communism and capitalism are only separated by a wall.

Graduate Student correcting the experienced due to his superior education
It matters that they didn't witness the violent takeovers of entire countries by the Soviet Union and the subsequent installation of puppet rulers.
It matters that they never experienced the Cold War and Mutually Assured Destruction.
It matters that there are no longer Civil Defense shelter signs in public and government buildings.
It matters that they weren't there to see the race to space between the US and the USSR.

The traditional vs the Modern college experience.
It matters they didn't see the spree of bombing, murder and mayhem of the leftists during the 60's and 70's.
It matters because even the best, most accurate, most complete telling of a story doesn't match the impact of witnessing the events.

"The Prototype Lefties"

I saw this on Farcebook, the lady that wrote the article, her name is Kriztina Maria, she had commented that the cartoon was an A.I. cartoon, Personally I would have had a couple of heavily overweight lesbians surrounded by cats, otherwise it was accurate 😁.  Still working a lot, hence the scattered posting.

He calls himself a critical thinker but has never had an original thought. She calls herself brave but only dares to say what her tribe already agrees with.
They are rarely stable. Broken families, broken relationships, a broken relationship with reality. Often without children, or with children they use as political props. Their careers are either non-existent or anchored in the public sector, in NGOs, in universities, in the media. Places where you are rewarded for repeating the right phrases, not for producing anything of value.
They are outsiders. Not because the world has rejected them, but because they could never find their footing in the normal. The family, the faith, the nation, the community, ordinary life… it is all too small for them. Or rather, it is too big. They cannot handle it. So they hate it.
They find each other because they cannot find anyone else. A cluster of offended souls mirroring each other’s anger and calling it solidarity.
They need enemies to feel alive. The white man. The Christian. The Jew. The patriot. The mother who chooses the home. The father who chooses his family. Everything healthy must come down, because it reminds them of everything they are not.
They are the aristocracy of victimhood. Identity built on wounds, status measured in marginalization. The more broken, the more power. That is why they invent new offenses every week. Without offense, no identity. Without an enemy, no meaning.
And that is why they are dangerous. A human being without their own life, without real love, without God, without responsibility… that person will always seek power over others. They cannot build. They can only tear down. That is their only productive ability.
History has seen them before. Robespierre. The Red Guards. The Stasi informants. It is never the strong, the free, the loving people who build guillotines. It is the empty ones.
Right now, in the West, in 2026, the institutional Left is the more dangerous, because it holds the power.
The far Right shouts from the margins. The Left writes the laws, controls the schools, defines the language, decides who is allowed to say what.
They are a minority. The hard, activist Left makes up only 8-15% of the population in the West. But they dominate, because they are carried forward by the media, the universities, the NGOs, the cultural institutions and large parts of the public apparatus.
Their voice sounds bigger than it is, because they have captured the microphones, not the hearts.
The popular majority in the West is moving to the right, toward tradition, toward borders, toward common sense. That is why the Left is becoming more and more aggressive and talks so much about “democracy being under threat”.
But what they really mean is that their monopoly is under threat.
I can understand why they are on edge these days. Because once the people rise - and we do - they will be pulled up by the roots and thrown onto the dustbin of history, where they belong.

"Pax America Or Pax Naivete"

I remember from the turn of the last century through the early 1960's having an American Citizenship and passport was a magical thing if you travelled.  people left you alone because if something happened, they knew that the U.S. government would interfere from sending people to investigate to sending in a detachment of marines to clean things up.  That is how the Americans rolled, that is having a reputation of speaking softly and carrying a huge stick.  A holdover of Teddy Roosevelt's foreign policy.  Don't screw with Americans.  But after the 1960 and later, it because a national pastime for all these groups to harass Americans and watch the "Paper Tiger"  do nothing.  This really became apparent during the 1970's after the debacle of Vietnam, and the ascency of the influence of the Soviet Union and its proxies.  I remember the various hijacking of planes, trains, bombings and they could be laid at the feet of the PLO who was supported by the Soviets, the Stasi, and when this pattern continued through the early 1980's with the seizing of our embassy in Iran by "students".   I want us to be respected again on the world stage, feared, I don't care if they don't like us, being liked has gotten us nowhere except taken advantage of.  I want the world to respect us again, with a touch of fear. like it used to be.   Am I silly? perhaps...but it has to be better than the Obama apology tour.

For half a century, the prevailing framework of world politics has rested on a set of polite fictions—mutually agreed-upon conventions and carefully maintained pretenses. America’s foreign policy establishment sustained these soothing myths through self-affirming narratives, willful blindness to uncomfortable realities, and a veneer of diplomatic nicety designed less to illuminate truth than to avoid honest debate. Over time, that posture coincided with a steady erosion of American influence. We adopted a strangely contradictory approach to the world: proclaiming strategic leadership while simultaneously shoveling taxpayer money to governments and causes across the globe with little expectation of loyalty, cooperation, or even alignment with American interests.
That contradiction lies at the heart of the frustration many people—me included—have long felt about institutions like USAID. Beyond the well-documented problems of waste, graft, and the steady flow of funds to ideologically aligned NGOs, the deeper issue was philosophical: an aid system built on the assumption that generosity alone would purchase goodwill. History suggests otherwise—and once you begin looking closely at the structure, the spending, and the incentives, there is plenty to hate.
When Trump and team looked at the overall situation, they saw that even with those “investments”, we still had to feed the leviathan that was created by the Global War on Terror to defend our citizens from terrorism—and even then, the value and protection of carrying a US passport continues to decline.
Being attuned to transactional dealmaking, I think Trump looked at the situation and said to himself, “Self, what the hell are we getting for our treasure and resources?” He looked at all the foreign aid going out the door, even the NATO and UN funding, and our involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan and the answer he came up with was “little to nothing.” Yeah, we “got” Bin Laden, but years after his power had peaked—the 7th Century savages had already moved on to more savagery. Pax Americana was working but getting more expensive and singularly dependent on America every day and political forces inside the US were using America’s own efforts to deal with external and internal threats under some pretty adverse conditions as weapons against her.
I think Trump’s gambit comes down to one thing—and that is getting a reasonable rate of return on America’s investment in national defense, NATO, force projection (the cost of having military bases all over the world), domestic law enforcement (including immigration enforcement, which, for all the performative grousing by Democrats is about national security), and foreign aid.
So, what if Trump’s gambit succeeds?
On his broadcast of February 4, 2015, Rush Limbaugh said:
“Why in the world do we give money to people that end up ripping us and criticizing us? Why do we end up giving foreign aid to certain countries that actively work against us? I have always thought that foreign aid should be merit based. Okay, you want foreign aid from the United States, we’re gonna have to list, and we’re gonna have the good list and we’re gonna have the excrement list. And if you get on our excrement list, you’re on it for a while. It’s gonna take you years to get off of it.”
What if the Trump administration follows the Limbaugh Doctrine and creates a Global Excrement List? I can scarcely imagine anyone better than Secretary of State Marco Rubio managing it.
What if Venezuela and Iran—as well as other perpetual trouble spots—fall under US influence rather than working for Russia and China? What if the United States becomes a regional/global hegemon with client states in orbit?
Would that be so bad?
What if America power was magnified by that collection of global client states, all working toward the same goals for freer trade, security, and liberty for their people?
A good concise definition of a “client state” would be “a nominally independent nation that relies on a more powerful state for economic aid, military protection, or political support and therefore aligns its policies with the interests of that patron state.”
I’m not talking about a bunch of client states in the mode of the old Soviet Bloc with puppet dictators, but something akin to what happened under the Monroe Doctrine, which established an American sphere of influence in the Western Hemisphere, and over time U.S. interventions—especially under the Roosevelt Corollary—led several countries to function as de facto client states of the United States.
Would that be so bad?
Of course, some will say that America can’t be trusted with that kind of influence, but the fact is that power, like nature, abhors a vacuum. Empty space will be filled by something or someone and as America has weakened itself, China and Russia have been more than happy to do that job.
Winston Churchill is alleged to have said that America can be counted on to do the right thing after we have tried everything else. Now that we have tried everything else, maybe Pax Americana and Monroe Doctrine sort of hegemony is the right thing.

How the "Crazy Cat ladies" took over the Democratic Party.

The "Karen" phenomenon is more than a thing, about the bitter old white harpy that wants to complain and try to control you because her life is crap.  She bought into the 4th wave of feminism and thought her life would be perfect, and now in her forties/fifties/sixties after kicking her husband to the curb to "find herself" after listening to her divorced friends, she realized that her life is empty so they are out on a crusade to "change the world" so as to try to fill her life with meaning because they usually have no kids or have alienated them unless she has daughters and she will try to corrupt her also.

They usually have no belief system except gaia, or the state or some other nebulous higher power, believes in "the science" if it is pushed by the state, because you can't question the state.  They are the ones that made the most use of "the snitch lines "on your neighbor and called the cops, they are the self important busybodies that made sure that all the edicts pushed by Fauci and crew were complied with on social media or you were "killing people ".   They are the ones that screeched and pushed for everyone to get "The Vaxx" or you should go to a camp with all the other non believers and just die.  They had the insipid circle on their social media profile that stated "I am vaxxed" and they were proud of it.  They were the ones that would swoop on you in a grocery store and screech "Where is your mask?"  even in states where it wasn't required.  my favorite response after politely telling them to go away was to "FU", yeah I had no love lost for the self important busybodies.   The "Stasi" would have loved these people.

I pulled this off "PJ Media".

Back in the bar-hopping days of my youth, the telltale sign of a high-quality nightclub was twofold:

  1. Must have a minimal (or no) cover charge, and the beers can’t be crazy expensive. (Pro Tip: If there’s a clean mint in the urinal, you’re paying too much for your drinks.)
  2. Must have hot babes.

And honestly? The latter outweighed the former by a LOT: We could always “pregame” (with Milwaukee’s Best and/or Natty Light, of course) before going out — but if the bar was packed with nothing but dudes, we wouldn’t hang around.

We’d leave and try to find a bar with babes!

Bar owners understood this dynamic, which is why they invented “ladies night,” where all the women drink for free: As long as your bar is filled with good-looking women, you’ll ALWAYS have plenty of desperate dudes (like me!) paying handsomely for the privilege to drink with ‘em.

That’s how the male mind worked: We wanted to be wherever the women were.

But what if I told you there’s a place that utterly defies this male-female dynamic — a place overflowing with single, desperate women… and young men STILL avoid it like the plague?

Remember those “No Kings” protests? Turns out, the name was dead-on accurate: There were no kings.

In fact, there weren’t many men there at all.

From the New York Post: ‘No Kings’ protest composed mostly of educated white women in their 40s: experts

At last weekend’s “No Kings” protest in Washington, D.C., inflatable chickens bobbed above a crowd that, according to demographic research, was made up mostly of educated White women in their 40s.

Psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert said the “No Kings” protests were a snapshot of an era when emotional catharsis and civic activism have begun to blur.

“What we’re seeing is a kind of group therapy playing out in the streets,” he told Fox News Digital.

Axios also studied the demographic breakdown of the “No Kings” rallies: Not only was it overwhelmingly female, it was also overwhelmingly white:

The typical attendee at the D.C. protest was an educated white woman in her 40s who heard about the event either through friends or via Instagram, according to preliminary data collected by American University researchers who track protest movements.

[…]

State of play: 86% of surveyed protesters in D.C. were white, and 57% were women.

It’s eye-opening how lily-white the D.C. “No Kings” protests were — especially for a political party that prides itself on DEI hires, racial diversity, and kneejerk “inclusivity.”

The demographics of D.C. are 43% black! Yet 86% of the D.C. protesters were white?!

How is that even possible?

Meanwhile, President Trump won 46% to 48% of the Hispanic vote, 40% of the Asian vote, and about 15% of the black vote. Which means, the evil, racist, xenophobic MAGA movement is vastly more “racially inclusive” than the left-wing “No Kings” movement!

Axios did find an “expert” to explain the glaring absence of minority participants. You might find it amusing:

"It makes sense that we're not seeing people of color in the streets because people of color are being disappeared," said Dana Fisher, a professor at American University's School of International Service.

Right: “People of color” couldn’t march because — abracadabra! — they’ve already vanished. Makes perfect sense.

(Wait. No, that doesn’t make any sense. Like, none at all.)

Either way, it’s created a radically different image of the “No Kings” movement. Try as they might, this wasn’t anything like the Counter Culture revolution of the 1960s, where college-aged activists led legions of idealistic youngsters into the streets, telling ‘em “Don’t trust anyone over 30.”

Today in 2025? College kids weren’t skipping classes to attend the “No Kings” rallies!

Instead, it was filled with unmarried, post-menopausal white women.

(Who attended the rallies with other unmarried, post-menopausal white women — during their down time between book club meetings, therapy sessions, and trips to Whole Foods.)

The New York Post focused on the convergence of “belonging and community” and the yenta-heavy demo:

“The ‘No Kings’ movement allows people to feel belonging and community,” [psychotherapist Jonathan] Alpert said. “Sharing grievances with like-minded people feels good, but it doesn’t necessarily change anything.”

[…]

That fleeting catharsis, Alpert added, can also mask something darker.

“A lot of times people are unhappy in their own lives,” he said. “They may have anxiety or anger, and they project that onto others. That’s partly what we’re seeing play out at these rallies.”

And it also explains why young people — especially young men — want nothing to do with today’s Democratic Party: What self-respecting 20-year-old man wants to spend his free time with a bunch of angry, bitter, old women?

Especially women who view his masculinity as inherently “toxic”?

The Democratic Party has gone from Camelot to a lot of Karens — from donkeys to cougars. And for all the talk of “No Kings,” in truth it was “no husbands”: These rallies consisted of sad, lonely women commiserating with other sad, lonely women.

And then they went back to their single-occupant homes, fed their seven cats, got drunk on rosé, and watched MSNBC ‘til bedtime — wondering where all the “good men” have gone.

(Yeah. All the “good men” have vanished too, eh? Just like the “people of color” vanished from the protests. My God, it’s an epidemic of vanishing!)

The truth, however, is that nobody has vanished: Good men are still here, and 40+% of Washington, D.C. is just as black as it ever was.

They simply don’t want to associate with post-menopausal Karens who run the Democratic Party.

Because this wasn’t Houdini redux: men, young people, and minorities didn’t suddenly vanish into the ether. There was no snap-of-Thanos. Professor Dana Fisher’s theory — that disproportionately large numbers of “people of color” refused to attend a left-wing protest AGAINST Donald Trump BECAUSE of Donald Trump — is beyond absurd. It’s straw-grasping writ large.

Nobody vanished. They were driven away.

Musings......and a Rant....or Two....

I saw in the news that Xiden traded a Arms Merchant for that women's basket ball player....

A few thoughts on this.......First off....WTF!,  Lessee we swap an Arms merchant that took several years of a sting to nail in a foreign country, and he was selling arms that were used in killing Americans and other people friendly to the United States, and we trade him for a Lesbian basketball player that hates America and trash talks the United States every chance she gets on Social media?......Good trade there Sport....I wonder about those hacks in DC on the Potomac what kind of brain dead bullshit was this trade, who thought this was an even trade?  Only Xiden and his administration would made a deal like this and brag about it, where the rest of the world is looking at us with pity and shame wondering what the hell happened to the Great United States, the Clowns are running the Circus I surmise to Xiden that this was a good trade because it panders to his base, you know the ones that are confused, POC's and they hate America.  Now she will come back to America, trash talk the States, and go on a "Victimhood" tour about her time in the gulug system for her stupidity because she thought her celebrity status would shield her like it does in the same place that she despises...Well guess what, it didn't but that part will be glossed over as she will get invited to the Whitehouse and at the same time there is a retired Marine that has been languishing there for 4 years and the Xiden administration didn't do shit for him because he wasn't a celebrity and didn't check off all the boxes necessary for the proper status in the progressive world.   What a Cluster..Foxtrot.

We finished the 2022 election cycle finally a couple of days ago and I can sum it up in one word..."Disappointment", Wat happened to the vaunted Red Wave?  Xiden and the Donks will be embolden to continue their policies.  I know that there was some hankie Pankie in AZ and a couple of other places...but nobody is bothering to do anything about it....Just in a hurry to bury it quickly before the normies get restless.

We had a record turnout here in Georgia for the election and the runoff.  It didn't matter, the usual candidates still screeched "Voter Suppression"  even though Warnock got reelected.  it was a nasty campaign, Warnock had 4 times the money that Walker (R) had and most of it was out of state money and he slung the mud big time.  Sure Hershel Wasn't the best candidate the GOP could have run, but the dynamics is that it had to be a black man to run against Warnock because the Donks would have turned it into a racial issue besides it being an abortion right issue.

Hershel did have a lot of flaws from failed marriages, to his domestic violence when he was younger to having a couple of his girlfriends get abortions, all of this happened before he "Found Jesus"
Raphael Warnock continuously puts himself in all his ads as a pastor first. He is also running one of the severest “mud slinging” campaigns in Georgia’s history against Hershel Walker. Hershel has come out numerous times admitting that he had problems with mental illness years ago. Key word HAD. He has also talked about how he got help with his illness, but it wasn’t until he gave his life to Jesus that he got the complete change he was looking for and needed.
The thought hit me the other night while viewing one of the many Warnock smear commercials that if anyone should understand grace and forgiveness and the idea of “second chances” should be a pastor because this is the truth of the gospel. Jesus gives, not only second chances, but 3rd, 4th, 5th all the way to infinity of chances. II Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (New King James version).
It appears that Mr. Warnock is more interested in being a politician instead of a pastor. Is he a pastor until it comes to politics then everything is fair game? I don’t see Jesus doing that.

Apparently the credibility of the Media is taking another hit....The Hunter Biden Laptop story is making its rounds......again.....and it is coming out by Elon Musk how Twitter and the other Social Media giants buried or just suppressed the story to help Xiden get elected.

The story came out that 1/3 of the people that voted for Xiden stated that they would have voted for someone else had they known about the Laptop, but the media suppressed the story to make sure that "their man" made it across the finish line first.
People see this stuff and wonder why the trust in the media and the tech giants are soo low, and now Elon Musk is releasing the "Twitter Files" and showing how Twitter actively suppressed the conservative side of the aisle for years and pumped up the left side of the political spectrum.

Especially at the request of the DNC, and of course the progressives are upset...the secret is out "OMG.....The world is ending, Elon is ruining Twitter, and they have been trying to gaslight him and failing miserably at it.
Facebook is having problems also, what affects one splashes on the other so it will be interesting to see his this plays out.

Winter is coming and of course the uptick of "Covid " is starting to infect the news again...With the 2022 election over, the Donks can go full Stasi for an entire year than let off in time for the 2024 election and buy off some votes by their "largess" or "free Money" for the freeloading class as they try to get the world to listen to the experts and shut down again "for the good of society", Y'all know what I say to be true...you can see it on the horizon, you can feel it is coming.

Speaking of Covid...This is what I hope happens, they go after "Dr Doom", A.K.A. Fauci for his sins during Covid, but with the spineless jellyfisn that makes up the leadership in the GOP, I don't have much hope of that.

With Christmas coming, sure this is humorous because "A Christmas Story" is one of my favorite all time Christmas Movies, along with "Die Hard" but there is truth to this one, Firearm sales have skyrocketed because people are afraid and the soft on crime policies from the Soros DA's is a big factor. But a big problem is that the same DA's will use "Lawfare" against you if you go against their agenda. I;m not sure what is going to happen, but I'm afraid thing will start getting "sporty" because the average American has started losing faith in the institutions because they believe that they are corrupted and twisted.

Some even more pithy thoughts and musings

Well I came back from my mini vacation and we had gone to the land of the mouse and I was a bum, really didn't go out much, just chilled and read a book that the spousal unit had gotten for me per the recommendation of Mike Rowe,

The book was excellent and I did discover that I had to read with "Cheaters" so I could read the print better......Man it sucks getting older, and of course on the way back we stopped and gassed up at the same place we stopped at on the way down...

You betcha.....Grabbed a brisket and gassed up the Focus for the run into the Atlanta area, then got ready for going back to work.   And bummer......No overtime....NOOOOOOO, but I start specific  airplane type school on Monday for the next 2 weeks, I will post a bit about that next week.

Well anyway the long anticipated Soviet er I mean Russian attack on the Ukraine has commenced,
I am of 2 minds of this, I want to run a lot of ammo, guns and whatever tank and helicopter buster ordinance they need, but no troops.  I stand by my assertion that the people pushing for war with the Russians know that it ain't their kids fighting and dying, but "Flyover Kids" that are gonna fight and die, and truth be told, we don't need to be bogged down there at the end of a logistic chain.  Now on few different observations.  One was that the Ukraine Gave up their Nukes with the promise that we would give them security assurances, and Russia signed that agreement as did China, but now China and Russia has violated that agreement and I believe that the Ukraine wishes that they kept a few Nukes especially because Putin has threatened to rattle the nuclear saber at everyone else. The Second point was that there was an agreement that NATO wasn't going to expand farther eastward and there was talk about the Ukraine joining NATO.  If I was Putin, I would have been concerned because if you look in the dictionary under "Paranoid", you will find a Russian.

I honestly believe that Putin wants to restore the glory of Soviet Empire without the trappings of the Communist part, but with him in charge, remember he was a colonel in the KGB before the fall of the Soviet Union.  Back before the fall, the Soviet Union was a superpower and feared and respected through the world especially for their military might.  Now they are more known for how good their porn is and their cyberhackers...Putin wants to bring back the days that the world trembled before the Soviet  Russian Empire.

Despite the Russian invasion, the various lefties immediately tried to twist the resulting invasion to fit their pet cause to almost humorous effect....I would laugh but these people are deadly serious, this is how they think and act and see life through the prism of their intersectional bias and prejudices. and then pushing into twitter and social media and their vapid followers the bias and lies and flatout bullcrap, I want to laugh but instead shake my head because this shows how far America and Western Civilization has fallen.

Meanwhile the Clown of Climate Change Flipper A.K.A John Kerry made a Statement about the Russian aggression against the Ukrainians and of course he trotted out his pet cause and he likes to go to summits in private jets and live in a standard of living that he and the rest of "our betters" want us to follow but they will be exempt from by their station in life and we will be destitute but they will be just fine.  Again I see the decline of the West in his statement and I wonder if the Romans did the same shit while the Gauls got ready to cross the Danube.

Meanwhile the effect of the invasion is already being felt at the pump, the day of the invasion, I went and gassed up the Focus and pulled the cover off the Truck and since the tank was at 1/3, filled her tank up too.  Spent $51 bucks on gas that night.

And the next day gas had jumped 20 to 25 cents a gallon in my area and in other areas it had climbed more than that.  When *Orange Man Bad* was the President, we were energy independent until Xiden got elected and he made it a point to shut down all the pipelines he could and shut down and or cripple all the leases he could forcing us to import oil and energy again, I guess making sure Hunter getting his kickbacks from all those energy companies were more important and of course "the Big Guy" getting his 10% " and everyone else pays the price.

Of course Xidens bad poll numbers are causing problems for the donks, their poll numbers are hitting the crater and of course with Xiden being the standard bearer for the Donks and the Party especially for the incoming Midterms

All the assorted chickens that the Donks have been pushing have come back to roost and it is promising to be a bloodbath for the Democratic party and a

Reminder that the voters are not to be blown off but the hardcore donks are ignoring the polling data and doubling down with the "State Knows Best" attitude and continuing with their present course and now from my latest count, there are 30 retirements before the midterms setting the stage for the biggest bloodletting in a 100 years.  Of course I had touched on this before in a Prior Blog Post that Felonia Von Pantsuit will most likely challenge Xiden for the nomination setting a stage for a possible  rematch between her and former President Trump for the 2024 elections.

President Trump was arrogant, but his heart was in the right place and he would fight when he was attacked, unlike the GOPers before that would act all nice and stuff, he would counterattack and this was part of the reason for his popularity with the middle class, they saw that he would actually fight rather than roll over and take it.  And this is turning into the biggest "I Told You So" in recent History to a lot of people who had bought into the propaganda by the legacy media and believed the crap spewed by them about President Trump and now they realized that they have been lied to and now they are angry and that is partially why Xidens poll numbers are in the cellar and the media trying to prop him up is failing massively because the lies that they are pushing don't jibe with the reality that people are experiencing.

Apparently there is a lot of data about the Covid that the CDC, you know that government agency that worked hand in hand with the Donks to cripple the economy and gave the selfsame democrats an opportunity to get their inner STASI on and they used it to punish their neighbors and people that they didn't agree with politically, they used the edicts from the CDC to get people fired from their jobs, and harassed on social media and kids mentally abused and turned into mental shut ins, yeah...that CDC.  Well there is data out there that the CDC refuses to release because it "Goes against da Narrative" but the wheels are coming off that wagon..

The CDC is now recommending that 3/4 of the Americans indoor can now go without the mask...especially that the new polling data shows that the mandates are being blamed in the democratic party by 62% of the American public, and to get that high of a percentage, the donks know that the percentage is higher than that because any sampling of the population always over samples democrats so it is higher than that and it looks bad for the midterms.

And surprisingly the new mandates have come out saying "Relax them".

        I wonder why.......
and finally
If I was Taiwan, i would be highly concerned, The Ukraine is being invaded and China has been building their military up for the past 20 years, and their best ally is being led by a senile doddering old fool that is basically a meat puppet for his handlers and I would be concerned partly because I would have no faith in the United States coming to my aid, especially with severe doubts with the penetration of the top layers of the U.S government by the security apparatus of the CCP and the resulting bribery of the son of the U.S. President, there is great concern that the Americans will even get involved.  If I was Taiwan, I would be using a variation of General Order 227 and adopt a scorched earth policy.
