Moderna Post a 1.2 Billion Loss this quarter.

 

I have made my feelings known about the "Vaccine" and "The Jab".  I see this as kinda poetic as moderna is starting to lose money on their cash cow especially since the Feds ain't paying for it anymore because "Covid" is over.   Well until the new strain is used to give the donks political cover as they try to push mask mandates and vaxx requirements to scare the crap out of people again, it is an election year you know, great time for absentee ballots you know...a few totes under the table you know after the polls close you know..  I already see people wearing mask again, to me it is a virtue signal thing, it is how hard core donks identify themselves from everybody else, kinda like dogs sniffing each others butts.  "Hey I am one of the smart ones, look at me and my kind, we are virtuous and thinking about other people by wearing this mask".   *snort* F*cking sheep, they buy into all the B.S and swallow it hook, line and sinker, and according to the article, Moderna has a new version in time for the fall vaccine cycle...Halleluiah We are saved again!   Yes this is my sarcasm coming through.

Moderna posted a $1.2 billion loss in the first quarter of 2024, with the drugmaker blaming crashing sales of its COVID-19 vaccine.

The company notched $167 million in first-quarter sales of its COVID-19 vaccine (called Spikevax), according to a May 2 earnings report. That’s a 94 percent drop from the $2.8 billion in the prior quarter.

“This decline aligns with the anticipated transition to a seasonal COVID-19 vaccine market,” Moderna said in the report. “In the prior year period, the company recognized revenue primarily from delivered doses deferred from 2022.”

The company said that in the United States, where Moderna sold $100 million worth of its COVID-19 vaccine doses in the first quarter, it hopes to see higher vaccine uptake as it works to rush its newest 2024–2025 Spikevax formula to coincide with the distribution of flu shots during the fall influenza season.

“In the U.S., the company is reaffirming its 2024 product sales outlook as it enters the second year of the commercial endemic COVID market,” Moderna said. “Moderna’s focus is on working with public health officials, health care providers and pharmacies to increase vaccination coverage rates to reduce the substantial burden of COVID-19.”

The company also issued a $4 billion sales forecast for 2024, the lowest figure for annual revenue since U.S. health authorities granted emergency authorization for its COVID-19 vaccine in late 2020.

More Vaccines in the Pipeline

Moderna touted the results of Phase 3 clinical trials of its “next-generation” COVID-19 vaccine (mRNA-1283), boasting higher immune response against both new and original virus strains than its original formula.

Clinical trials are also underway on a combination one-shot vaccine against the flu and COVID-19, which Moderna has dubbed mRNA-1083. Data from the study are expected at some point in 2024.

The drugmaker also reaffirmed that it expects to receive approval from regulators for its respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine in time for it to be included in this fall’s vaccine campaign in the United States.

The company has expressed hope that its experimental shots—including for RSV, flu, and cancer—will compensate for dwindling COVID-19 vaccine revenue.

Falling demand for COVID-19 vaccines was also why Moderna competitor Pfizer’s first-quarter results saw a significant decline.

Falling Vaccine Sales Tank Pfizer Results

Pfizer’s profit plunged by more than 40 percent year over year in the first quarter, with the drugmaker blaming falling sales of its COVID-19 vaccine and antiviral treatment for the income crunch.

In its first-quarter 2024 results, released on May 1, Pfizer reported total revenues of $14.9 billion, representing a revenue decline of 20 percent year over year from the $18.5 billion notched in the same quarter last year.

Profit fell by 44 percent—from $5.5 billion a year ago to $3.1 billion in the first quarter of this year.

The company blamed falling sales of its COVID-19 vaccine (Comirnaty) and its COVID-19 antiviral treatment (Paxlovid), which saw sharp declines in the United States and the rest of the world, for the revenue decline.

COVID-19 vaccine sales plunged by 64 percent in the United States. In other countries, it fell by 91 percent, for a total worldwide sales slump of 88 percent.

Paxlovid fared better in the United States, with sales declining by just 8 percent in the first quarter, year over year. It performed poorly in other countries (down by 89 percent), for a total worldwide sales decline of 50 percent.

Excluding the COVID-19 vaccine and antiviral treatment, first-quarter revenues grew by 11 percent operationally, Pfizer said.

Vaccine Controversy

While health officials maintain that Moderna’s and Pfizer’s mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are “safe and effective,” there are lingering doubts given that a significant number of vaccinated people have reported various adverse reactions.

The most common COVID-19 vaccine adverse events are those that affect the body generally, with fever, fatigue, and overall discomfort being the top three, according to the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. But there are others.

For instance, heart muscle inflammation (myocarditis) and inflammation of the lining outside the heart (pericarditis) have both officially been acknowledged by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as known side effects of Moderna’s and Pfizer’s mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.

Nervous system disorders have also been reported, with such disorders being the third most common in the Pfizer trials, coming after general and muscle-related adverse events.

Clinicians treating various persistent vaccine adverse reactions have said that the leading cause of such injuries is the COVID-19 spike protein.

Spike proteins exist on the surface of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that invades cells and causes disease. The COVID-19 mRNA vaccines (such as Moderna’s and Pfizer’s) also induce the body to make spike proteins.

The cells that are exposed to the mRNA produce spike proteins and then display these proteins on their surfaces. The immune system then attacks these spike proteins, forming an immunity against them.

According to earlier reporting from The Epoch Times, clinicians have put forward six pathways through which the spike proteins can cause damage, including immune dysregulation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and blood clotting and vascular damage. Multiple studies have shown that spike proteins directly bind to clotting factors in the blood, promoting both large and microclot formations.

Spike protein also damages blood vessels and is prone to forming blood clots, which can block coronary arteries, leading to heart attacks.

Recent reporting from The Epoch Times indicates that CDC officials found evidence suggesting that both Pfizer’s and Moderna’s mRNA vaccines caused multiple deaths—before claiming that there was no evidence linking the vaccines to any deaths.

Opposition is growing to the Un-American Vaccine Mandates

 I am having to fill out a petition at work for a waiver not to have to take the "Vaccine", at my place of employment, I have a job that pays exceeding well and I have to worry about losing that job because I am standing up on my principles on "Who Owns You" I am concerned despite the court order telling the Xiden administration that they overreached, he is telling companies to proceed anyway and most of them are proceeding despite the court order.  What is going on? why are all these companies rolling over and showing their bellies to the Xiden administration.  Does anybody have a spine anymore?

After two years of fear mongering from the country’s political, media and medical elite, President Joe Biden ordered a highly controversial COVID-19 vaccine mandate on September 9, 2021. He authorized the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to prepare these orders for businesses with over one hundred employees.

On November 4, 2021, OSHA officially announced the rules; however, enforcement was not set to begin until early in 2022. The orders require employees to take the COVID-19 vaccine or submit to weekly tests proving they are free of the virus. The businesses might have to terminate their best employees if they do not comply with these stringent requirements.

This was Biden’s most aggressive step to force Americans to take a vaccine, regardless of their age or health condition. It also mandated compliance regardless of whether employees were previously infected and had natural immunity.

Coupled with the continuing mask mandates and the ongoing restrictions on certain businesses, the American people must realize that the hyping of the COVID-19 pandemic is not going away anytime soon. Regardless of whether the number of hospitalized patients or virus-related deaths is increasing or decreasing, the corrupt elite need the pandemic to continue. Of course, American citizens in the grips of fear of COVID-19 are easier to control and manipulate.

The Biden administration is intent on forcing mandates on the nation, despite the economic cost. Already, our economy is suffering from the Biden administration’s horrific mismanagement. The country is facing soaring inflation, increasing gasoline prices, foreign energy dependence and a wide-open border with a massive surge of millions of people pouring into the country.

Instead of dealing with the country’s real problems and offering useful solutions, the Biden administration continues to focus on its favorite issues: vaccine mandates and climate change action. No matter what issue develops, the Biden administration finds opportunities to advocate for more vaccine compliance and more green energy “solutions” to the “crisis” of climate change.

There should be little wonder why the poll numbers for Biden and the Democrats are plunging. This administration is not listening to the American people. Instead, it is forcing its unpopular agenda on the country.

Regarding the vaccine mandates, it is time the American people channeled the anger from the character Howard Beale, the anchor in the movie Network, performed brilliantly by Academy Award winning actor Peter Finch. In the movie, he famously encouraged people to open their windows and yell, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!”

The American people should not meekly accept our federal government trying to force citizens to take a vaccine against their will. The mantra, “my body, my choice” should apply to vaccines. In this country, medical privacy should be the guaranteed right of every American citizen. Whether we take a COVID-19 vaccine or not should be no one’s business, especially the federal government. These actions are hallmarks of communist dictatorships, not a 245-year-old constitutional republic like the United States of America.

 

Fortunately, there has been noteworthy progress in recent days. For example, the new commander of the Oklahoma National Guard, Army Brigadier General Thomas Mancino, informed the 10,000 troops under his authority that he will not be enforcing the COVID-19 vaccine mandate ordered by U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. The order impacted all branches of the military, including the National Guard in each state.

Mancino made the announcement the day after his appointment to the position by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, who had already requested that the Defense Department end any type of vaccine mandate on the members of the Oklahoma Army and Air National Guard. Stitt called the mandate “irresponsible.”

General Mancino will not enforce the mandate on the Oklahoma troops despite the Defense Department’s order to “discipline and ultimately discharge (non-vaccinated) servicemembers.”  This protection will only extend to the Oklahoma National Guard members while they are under state command, not when they are under the authority of the federal government.

In his reply to these actions in Oklahoma, Pentagon spokesperson Admiral John Kirby, stated that Secretary Austin will respond to the Governor of Oklahoma “appropriately.” He claimed that Secretary Austin believes that the vaccine mandates make the country’s armed forces, including the national guard units of each state, “a more ready force.”

Along with the decision of the Oklahoma National Guard Commander, the opponents of the vaccine mandate secured a major victory in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. On Friday evening, the court delivered a huge defeat to the Biden administration, which will not be able to proceed with plans to force businesses with over one hundred employees to mandate COVID-19 vaccines or weekly testing for their workforces.

According to the judges, the mandate most likely “violates the constitutional structure that safeguards our collective liberty.” The judges also claimed the mandate “grossly exceeds OSHA’s statutory authority,” and is “staggeringly overbroad.”

The decision was a powerful strike against the Biden administration’s aggressive vaccine plans. In one section of the decision, the three judge panel accurately noted the economic costs that would be imposed on American businesses, “The Mandate imposes a financial burden upon them by deputizing their participation in OSHA’s regulatory scheme, exposes them to severe financial risk if they refuse or fail to comply, and threatens to decimate their workforces (and business prospects) by forcing unwilling employees to take their shots, take their tests, or hit the road.”

These employees would “hit the road” only because of their stance on vaccines, not their work performance.

The mandate would have impacted eighty million Americans, about two-thirds of the private sector workforce in the country. According to Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, who participated in the lawsuit against the Biden administration, “The Court’s action not only halts Biden from moving forward with his unlawful overreach, but it also commands the judicious review we sought.”

Let us hope this upcoming “judicious review” will put a stake in this un-American vaccine mandate for the last time.

 

The Covid conspiracy...Good for what ails the Donks.

 

 I clipped this also from "Townhall",   I thought it was an interesting opinion piece.

This week has been eye-opening. Even for me -- and I'm the guy who has warned for over a year, in commentary after commentary, and often for three hours a day on my nationally syndicated radio show, that the COVID-19 vaccine could be dangerous and deadly and could lead to catastrophe. 

I stuck my neck out like no other talk show host in America to warn the vaccine may not even prevent illness; in fact, it could damage the immune system, thereby causing more illness and death. And not just from COVID-19, but also injuries and death linked to the COVID-19 vaccine itself.

Eight months ago, I warned it was time to suspend the vaccine program pending an investigation of mounting deaths, grievous injuries and permanent disabilities. I titled my commentary, "What if This Experimental COVID Shot Is Killing People? Don't Americans Have a Right To Know?"

Four months ago, I was courageous enough to scold New York Times medical reporters about the unfolding disaster that they have ignored. I titled my commentary, "What I Just Told the New York Times About the Complete Failure and Disaster of the COVID-19 Vaccine."

Three months ago, I was the first to warn that Americans were dropping in record numbers of heart attacks, strokes and blood clots. I titled my commentary, "If the Vaccine Is So Great, Why Are So Many People Dropping Dead?"

But even I was shocked by the plethora of stories coming out just in the past week, from all corners of the world, suggesting the vaccines are indeed a terrible failure and are causing a mass die-off.

Here is a quick look at the FACTS that have come pouring out of the closet just in the past week:

Israel is the most vaccinated major nation in the world. Almost the entire population is quadruple vaccinated. Yet right now Israel is No. 1 in the world for COVID-19 infections. Over one half of 1% of their entire population is testing positive for COVID-19 PER DAY. 

In Germany, the most draconian COVID-19 mandates and restrictions in the world were sold to the public with false data. Just like in America, the German government labeled this a "pandemic of the unvaccinated." They claimed up to 90% of the infected and dead were unvaccinated. Newspaper investigations have found that none of this was true. The government simply classified every sick or dying person as "unvaccinated." Government officials are apologizing, blaming the "mistake" on a "software error."

In Alberta, Canada, the government published, then quickly deleted health data exposing that almost 60% of the COVID-19 victims classified as "unvaccinated" were actually among the vaccinated. It turns out everyone who got sick, was hospitalized or died within two weeks of getting any vaccine (the first jab, or second, or third) was counted as "unvaccinated."

I'll bet you didn't know the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention play the exact same trick here in the USA. They know most of the COVID-19 deaths and injuries, not to mention deaths from the vaccine itself (mostly heart attacks) will occur within 14 days of any jab. So, everyone that gets sick or dies in that period is counted as "unvaccinated."

The most perfect control group ever is the U.S. military. Every young soldier got the COVID-19 vaccine in the past year. To follow the results is the very definition of SCIENCE. Military whistleblowers have come forward with Department of Defense medical data showing since the start of the vaccine program cancer is up about 300% among military members; female infertility is up 500%; miscarriages are up by 300%; and there was an astronomical 1000% increase in neurological disorders from 82,000 to 863,000 in one year.

These are young men and women who were in perfect health ... until the vaccines. It appears the vaccines are literally crippling our national defense.

One more control group of formerly healthy young men and women: FIFA soccer players in the EU. Deaths from cardiac arrest increased by 500% in 2021. An astounding 183 professional athletes and coaches collapsed "suddenly" in 2021. 

Worst of all is the news from the CDC that non-COVID-19 deaths in the age range of 18 to 49 increased by 40% in the past year. No one has ever seen anything like this. Why are working-age Americans dying in record numbers? Only one thing changed in 2021: vaccine mandates at the workplace. 

The real story these numbers tell is we are experiencing a "pandemic of the vaccinated." I believe the vaccine is doing catastrophic damage, but governments, politicians and bureaucrats the world over have falsely labeled vaccinated people who are sick and dying as "unvaccinated." And the media covers up the truth like it's Hunter Biden's laptop.

This is the greatest scam in world history. It would make Bernie Madoff blush.

 

Pithy Rant and opinions....

 Well August is almost here and School is fixing to start....well almost...

  But apparently the CDC is taking their cues from the Teachers unions that happen to love the idea of Virtual or even better "No School" where the kids are promoted to the next grade and they are not taught anything and the members are paid to do nothing.  The Teachers love this, they get a check and don't work...and at the same time they lecture us about "Staying home, and saving lives" and acting all sanctimonious about it as they try to look down at all us "Mundanes" that actually have to work and make a living while they stay home.

    And speaking of the CDC, they can't seem to get their story straight....first they say no mask....then we need mask....then we don't need mask if you are vaccinated ...but now they are saying even with the vaccine, you have to wear a mask.  They are having a credibility issue, and many people are having severe doubts about it.  If they were honest about everything from the word "GO" instead of going political to help the democrats win an election and hide the source of the Virus, they sowed doubts on the credibility of their agency, I know that I don't trust them or any government agency...I believe that they don't have my best interest at heart, only their own and that is counter to mine and any other freedom loving American.  But the problem is that many Americans are in a rush to embrace the chains and the moving goalpost of the nanny state.  It seems that our "Betters" have a credibility problem, they keep pushing us to get vaccinated and wear a mask and yet the rules are different for them, and they wonder why quite a few people are giving them the "Hairy" eyeball, myself included.

   Meanwhile for the college students, it is a little different this year, thanks to the "Woke" movement, and people are wondering why they are sending their kids and many kids are wondering why they have to go to college to deal with all the stupidity.  My son for instance refused to go to college for several reasons, one was he didn't want to deal with the indoctrination, and the questionable education product and the debt, instead he is going to a Technical school to get his welding certifications and a technical degree.

   Meanwhile the speaker of the house convened her kangaroo court to hear testimony on the January coup, er Insurrection, er the worst thing that has happened to American democracy since the British invaded the capital in 1814 and torched it. 

 

 I saw weeping capital police officers and other drama students milking their 15 minutes of fame, and this is the sole purpose is to keep the January 6 protest on the front burner until the midterm to hurt the GOP and they will try to impeach President Trump for the 3rd time to try to kill any chance of him running in 2024.  I believe that the hearing is to provide cover for the donks and Pelosi denying President Trump asking for support from the Guard, they knew that there were going to be an incident and they wanted to make sure that President Trump got blamed for it.    Meanwhile the BLM(Burn, Loot and Murder) and Antifa and their *Mostly Peaceful Protest* (TM) that destroyed billions of dollars of property, killed a lot of people and injured a lot of people including a bunch of cops are giving a pass by the media and the FBI and other government agencies.   Funny how that works.

     Meanwhile many Americans are skeptical of the Vaccine, myself included.  If the CDC hasn't had such a credibility issue and changing their story depending on the political winds more people would be more accepting of the vaccine.  I flat out don't trust the CDC and the "JAB", the 2nd dose killed my dad and I also have had covid so I will not take the vaccine and having the government wanting to go door to door to enforce it really gives me the "Willies" as they say,

      Meanwhile President* Usurper is talking about bringing back mask mandates and forced vaccination to government agencies. but somehow the illegals that are flooding across the border are giving a pass and they are dumping them in red states at the airports, and bus stations and hotels with the catholic charities and other NGO's moving them around and then they wonder why there is a spike in covid cases in the Southeast....again.....Funny how that works.  I guess if you are a potential voting bloc for the donks, all kind of things are possible.....except screenings.

We have rumblings of Putin invading the Ukraine and adding "The Breadbasket" to Mother Russia, and our "Betters" are pushing sanctions and other things and beating the drums of war, talking about committing troops and I am horrified, I am an Army Cold War Veteran, I was part of VII Corp in Southern Germany and I also went to the Persian Gulf as part of Desert Storm, so as they say "I smelled the smoke and saw the elephant" That isn't what concern me, I was part of a highly trained green machine that had all the branches of the services that were well equipped and highly trained in warfighting, now the Army and the Military in General has newer equipment and in a lot of cases, better equipment, but the leadership flatout sucks, they are more concerned about "Diversity and Inclusion" then warfighting skills, whereas our near peer enemies don't have that problem and we will get our asses handed to us.  Our troops are fragmented, the ones that believe in this country are forced to either get vaxxed or get out, and the ones that stay in are the ones that will be ideologically pure to the left in this country, but they can't fight worth a crap, but by God they check off all the boxes.  And our "Betters" that are pushing for a confrontation, it won't be their kids fighting and dying, it will be "Flyover Countries" kids fighting and dying.  Our"betters" have no skin in the game unless the payouts they have in any Ukraine companies *Cough*Hack* Hunter Biden's  Gas Company sponsorship*Cough*Cough*. If there is a fight, we will have China watching and

either getting ready to carve up Taiwan or they will while we are embroiled in the Ukraine dealing with Russia.  They will be studying how we fight and figuring out countermeasures  and right now I don't have faith in the leadership military, Civilian, and political to do whats is in the best interest of our country, but I am too tired....

Meanwhile Stacy Abrams announced her plan to run again for Governor of Georgia, she narrowly was defeated in 2018, but then she was instrumental in getting both Georgia Senators democrats by her political organizations and harvesting the votes.  I am concerned, Brian Kemp is the present governor of Georgia, he did a good job overall of running Georgia especially during the pandemic, but he blew off President Trump and the  another candidate, the defeated senator Perdue whom former President Trump has endorsed is going to try to primary him.  This is a mess, Kemp has the support of the never Trumpers, and if he defeats Perdue, the GOP that supports President Trump will be lukewarm at best about supporting Kemp making it easier for Abrams to win, especially with the democrats proclivity of "finding the Votes"

 it is a real possibility my state will go democrat and that is a real concern, and unfortunately moving is not an option for a few years because of my and the spousal units job..But I am too tired....

    We have the latest variant to hit the shores, and of course the "CovidKarens" are shrieking in fear demanding more "masks" and more "lockdowns" and of course certain countries have gone total totalitarianism, like Australia, that is sending their infected citizens to "Covid Camps",

 

 and in Europe the Austrians, Germans and Italians have locked their unvaccinated citizens in their homes and fining them if they are caught outside, and if you are outside you better have either an app that shows your vaccine status or "your papers"

    I remember version 1.0 of this stuff where the undesirables and others were shoved into camps after being stripped of their rights as citizens, had their property seized by the state and millions killed and I keep wondering how the people today don't see it.  I know that the people in Germany in 1938 were blind to history, but we know what happened and we are careening down that same road again, I keep trying to explain what is going to happen if they keep pushing, but the people pushing are on a mission, you can see it to get  "everyone Vaxxed"...For our own good mind you and they don't understand what lies down that road when they strip a persons freedom and autonomy from them and say "You must obey or else".   But I am too tired.....

   Meanwhile we have the Grinch Dr Fauci himself telling everyone that they must get the boosters or "They don't get Christmas", now this is the problem, Fauci who is the face of "Our Betters" have decreed that we must get boosters to have our freedom back...well this is the problem sport...our freedom were given to us as a gift from God, not the State or a bureaucratic hack, and what the state don't give, the state can't take, but unfortunately so many people who don't know any better because of the abysmal education system in this country gave our sovereignty to the state, that which was a gift from God, many surrendered to government hacks and now they go hat in hand and beg for crumbs of their former freedom back from these same hacks.  I am ashamed of my countryman....how the mighty have fallen......but I am too tired.

Meanwhile these mandates have been a boon for certain companies, I normally don't have an issue with any companies making money the honest way, Adam Smith was adamant about the "flow of commerce", but what is going on here is government interference in the market by demanding that we take and "accept" a vaccine that isn't really a vaccine.  Now if someone wants to take "The Jab" , fine have at it, you have to judge the pro and cons of the "jab" and decide if it is right for you...or not.  The Individual is the most important person in this, the rights guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution are Individual rights, given by our creator and the governments job is to make sure that it isn't interfered with, but instead, you have the same people that scream "My womb, My choice" are trying to force me to accept "the Jab", all in the name of "Safety."  They can't have it both ways, you are either free or you ain't.  And these companies that are profiting are making a killing, just so happen that a lot of congressmen own stock in them...But I am too tired to explain to these people.......

     Meanwhile "Our Betters" are totally tone deaf, Xiden picked the most incompetent people in D.C on the Potomac for his administration, they have no clue how regular people live, they are so insulated in their blue bubble around D.C they have no concept or worse they don't care what happens to the American people and this is criminal.  All they care is how much they get from the federal trough as they stick their nose in as they parrot "Da Narrative", and whatever the narrative is to the modern left and it totally disgust me.  I wish there was a way to cleanse the place, and replace the people with people that actually want to serve, rather than try to enrich themselves art the expense of the American people and worse try to start up a near feudal society with them as "Gentry" and us as Serfs or Kulaks where we know our place and tug on our forelock and bow down to our master as they walk by, this is the dream that they have, but it is not the dream that I have and it is totally diametrically opposed....and if this continues...there will be collision of dreams and this will not end well, ...but I am soo tired of trying to explain to people that don't want to listen what the cost will be....

Meanwhile in Waukesha Wisconsin a Mr. Brooks decided to run through a Christmas parade and killed 6 people and wounded 50+ others, he was given a really low bail for running over the mom of his kid a couple of weeks earlier, and he had had many run ins with the law, and he kept getting chances and more chances and rather than staying in prison where he belonged, he kept getting released into the street.  Because the DA supported social justice type bail reform, Mr. Brooks was able to be on the street to literally ride havoc on the streets of that town in Wisconsin.  When I first heard of it, I first figured he was suffering from "Sudden Jihadi Syndrome" because the denizens of islam love to take vehicles and drive through Christmas parades of the infidels, it is something they do in Europe.

   Mr. Brooks believed in Black nationalism and he didn't like police or white people, from his many social media post.  Hey it is his right, he can believe what he wants, bigots gotta bigot.

 

 But it somehow funny to watch the twisting of the media as they downplay the race and social media activities of the driver of that red SUV that caused so much carnage in that Christmas Parade....the Double standard of the mainstream media is galling...

      When "Da Narrative" is threatened, the media buries the information and pretends it don't exist, then they ofiscate and gaslight you.......But I am soo tired and don't want to talk about it any more.

   And speaking of the Media, it is coming out that the New York Times and other legacy media were complicit in the "Russia Conspiracy" hoax that they used to savage President Trump during his time in office, to the point that the Pulitzer prize they won for journalistic excellence for the totally debunked story should be returned, but despite the call for the Pulitzer Prize committee to revoke the award, they will not do anything because when ideology trumps the truth, there is a problem with the institution, and they don't recognize it and don't care.  this shows the effect of being in the bubble and twisting facts to support a narrative and facts be dammed, this is further splitting the country, we are no longer 1 country, but 2 totally different country and I see a divorce in the future, but I am tired of trying to explain.

    Soo many people wish President Trump was still President, I know I wish I do, I wonder how many Xiden supporters are having buyers remorse,  Sure President Trump can be an asshole, but his policies were good for the country, he loved the country, and unlike the current crop of donks ain't trying to tear it down.  I don't know if he will run in 2024 or if he will be behind the scenes anointing Desantis or some other GOPer in his image, but I am soo tired of trying to explain to people, I am just burned out, my people switch is toast and I have no give left in me...all I have left is push back.

I'm going to try to explain what's going on in America right now by drawing a connection between two news stories.  On the surface, they don't seem to have much to do with each other, but when you really think about them, it's obvious that there's a common thread.

The first story comes from way back in November of 2018, when President Trump complained about an "Obama judge" on the Ninth Circuit ruling against his asylum policy.  Trump's comments angered Chief Justice John Roberts of the Supreme Court, who gave a speech saying:

We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges.  What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them.  That independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for.

Trump responded by tweeting: "Sorry Chief Justice John Roberts, but you do indeed have 'Obama judges,' and they have a much different point of view than the people who are charged with the safety of our country...."

For the Deep State and its sympathizers, Roberts's statement was a dignified and erudite defense of the institutions of liberal democracy, while Trump's tweet was a crass attack on said institutions

 

Ordinary Americans, who aren't emotionally invested in keeping up the illusion that all is well on the banks of the Potomac, saw something different.  They saw John Roberts telling a lie and Donald Trump telling the truth.

Everybody knows that most of what the upper level of the judicial system does is politics by another name.  They know that most of the time, Obama judges, Trump judges, Bush judges, and Clinton judges rule differently on politically charged questions.  And a large portion of the American people decide whom to vote for in presidential elections based mainly on what kinds of judges they want the next president to appoint.

John Roberts has the audacity to tell these people that none of this is true and that all judges are really just doing their best to enforce the same laws in an impartial way.

And then, right after this creature of the Deep State (not even a Democrat, but a moderate Republican) has told his lie, Donald Trump does what most politicians won't do (including Republicans) and tells the truth.

Over the next few years, when Trump's base continues to believe Trump's statements in preference to those of the media, the regulatory agencies, Anthony Fauci, the "moderates" in Congress, or whomever, the elite classes and the plutocrats and the mainstream press continue to act surprised, as if there were no reason for anybody to take Trump's word over theirs about illegal immigration, or the origin of the coronavirus, or hydroxychloroquine, or election fraud.

 

Except there was a reason why the Deplorables listened to Trump instead of the mainstream voices.  It is that the mainstream voices have been lying to them for a long, long time, without even trying to be subtle.  Eventually, the Deplorables noticed, and they decided to trust someone else.

Now for the second, and more recent, news item, in which we see our self-appointed betters growing impatient with plain lying and moving on to censorship, as exemplified by YouTube's decision, about a week ago, to ban all content questioning the efficacy of COVID vaccines.

You know who questions the efficacy of COVID vaccines?  Scientists.  Anyone who's been following the news for the last year or so knows that while most scientists studying the vaccines believe that their efficacy is well above zero, there have been all sorts of disagreements about how well they actually work.  Do they prevent serious symptoms 90% of the time or only 70% of the time?  Do they work at all against the delta variant?  Do their effects fade with time?  Is a third dose necessary?  Will people who already have natural antibodies get any benefit from the vaccines?

The scientific community has debated all these questions, and attentive news-watchers know that there isn't a settled consensus.  This should surprise nobody, as the vaccines are new and approved for experimental use only.  At this point, it's good that scientists aren't all thinking the same thoughts, because that means that at least some of them are doing their jobs.

However, the people who run this country (and let's be honest: at this point, the government agencies and the big corporations are all run by the same left-leaning plutocrat class) have decided that the Deplorables aren't allowed to know any of this.

These people know that the Deplorables don't trust them anymore.  So they have to rely on censorship, because they can't just make their case with logic, and say things like We all know that the science isn't fully settled yet, but most of the evidence indicates that the vaccines work most of the time, and your chances of getting harmed by a vaccine are small compared to your chances of getting harmed by the virus, so we're recommending that you get the shot.  But if you don't, we won't try to punish you or shame you, because we still believe in liberty.

That's the sort of argument that might have worked fifteen years ago.  It doesn't work today, because the Deplorables know that the people saying it have their heads so far up their own rear ends that they either can't see or don't care about the obvious untruth of statements like "we do not have Obama judges or Trump judges."

Instead, they rely on coercion and censorship.  Science takes a backseat to politics, just as it did way back in the spring of 2020, when scientists did a bunch of studies on the efficacy of cloth masks, most of which suggested that they don't work, and then dropped the whole topic like a hot rock once it became apparent that most of the people who didn't want to wear masks were those nasty Trump voters.

So upper-class liberals are left banging their heads on the wall and saying: Why do these people keep on trusting Donald Trump, even after the events of January 6, and why won't they believe the FDA when it tells them not to treat COVID with horse-deworming pills, and why are hospitals having to shut down because so many of their employees — medical professionals! — are willing to lose their jobs rather than get the vaccine?

The answer is that all this is happening because people notice when the elites lie.  They notice when the elites engage in censorship.  And they don't un-notice.  Also, once they've stopped trusting you, they won't start again just because you want them to.  Instead, they'll trust somebody else, even if, in your (now irrelevant) opinion, that somebody else is the worst person in the world for them to trust.

Sarin Nerve Gas as Cause of Gulf War Illness

 This is potentially huge, I Served in the First Gulf War, and since my return we have had a lot of people come back and get sick, and for years they made light of what we were complaining of.  It reminded me of the nightmare of my Dads generation and dealing with the "Agent Orange" and for years they covered it up and many G.I's died before they finally realized that there was a problem and started working on a solution.  I was afraid that they would do the same to us as they did to my Dad's generation that served in Vietnam.  he was the last one of his platoon that lived until the 2nd vaccine got him, but he already had lost half a lung, and had COPD that was linked to agent Orange.  Agent Orange related illness killed the rest of them that war and accidents didn't get. 

 

After 30 Years, Genetic Study Confirms Sarin Nerve Gas As Cause of Gulf War Illness

Troops who had genes that help metabolize sarin nerve gas were less likely to develop symptoms.

For three decades, scientists have debated the underlying cause of Gulf War illness (GWI), a collection of unexplained and chronic symptoms affecting veterans of the Persian Gulf War. Now researchers led by Robert Haley, M.D., Professor of Internal Medicine and Director of the Division of Epidemiology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UT Southwestern), have solved the mystery, showing through a detailed genetic study that the nerve gas sarin was largely responsible for the syndrome.

 

The findings were published on May 11, 2022, in Environmental Health Perspectives, a peer-reviewed journal supported by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, with an accompanying editorial on the paper by leading environmental epidemiologists.

Dr. Haley’s research group not only identified that veterans with exposure to sarin were more likely to develop GWI, but also found that the risk was modulated by a gene that normally allows some people’s bodies to better break down the nerve gas. Gulf War soldiers with a weak variant of the gene who were exposed to sarin were more likely to develop symptoms of GWI than other exposed veterans who had the strong form of the gene.

“Quite simply, our findings prove that Gulf War illness was caused by sarin, which was released when we bombed Iraqi chemical weapons storage and production facilities,” said Dr. Haley, a medical epidemiologist who has been investigating GWI for 28 years. “There are still more than 100,000 Gulf War veterans who are not getting help for this illness and our hope is that these findings will accelerate the search for better treatment.”

In the years immediately following the Gulf War, more than a quarter of the U.S. and coalition veterans who served in the war began reporting a range of chronic symptoms, including fatigue, fever, night sweats, memory and concentration problems, difficulty finding words, diarrhea, sexual dysfunction, and chronic body pain. Since then, both academic researchers and those within the military and Department of Veterans Affairs have studied a list of possible causes of GWI, ranging from stress, vaccinations, and burning oil wells to exposure to pesticides, nerve gas, anti-nerve gas medication, and depleted uranium.

Gulf War Illness Not Caused by Depleted Uranium From Munitions

Over the years, these studies have identified statistical associations with several of these, but no cause has been widely accepted. Most recently, Dr. Haley and a colleague reported a large study testing veterans’ urine for depleted uranium that would still be present if it had caused GWI and found none.

“As far back as 1995, when we first defined Gulf War illness, the evidence was pointing toward nerve agent exposure, but it has taken many years to build an irrefutable case,” said Dr. Haley, who holds the U.S. Armed Forces Veterans Distinguished Chair for Medical Research, Honoring Robert Haley, M.D., and America’s Gulf War Veterans.

 

Sarin is a toxic man-made nerve agent, first developed as a pesticide, that has been used in chemical warfare; its production was banned in 1997. When people are exposed to either the liquid or gas form, sarin enters the body through the skin or breathing and attacks the nervous system. High-level sarin often results in death, but studies on survivors have revealed that lower-level sarin exposure can lead to long-term impairment of brain function. The U.S. military has confirmed that chemical agents, including sarin, were detected in Iraq during the Gulf War. In particular, satellite imagery documented a large debris cloud rising from an Iraqi chemical weapons storage site bombed by U.S. and coalition aircraft and transiting over U.S. ground troop positions where it set off thousands of nerve gas alarms and was confirmed to contain sarin.

Previous studies have found an association between Gulf War veterans who self-reported exposure to sarin and GWI symptoms. However, critics have raised questions of recall bias, including whether veterans with GWI are simply more likely to remember and report exposure due to their assumption that it may be linked to their illness. “What makes this new study a game-changer is that it links GWI with a very strong gene-environment interaction that cannot be explained away by errors in recalling the environmental exposure or other biases in the data,” Dr. Haley said.

In the new paper, Dr. Haley and his colleagues studied 508 deployed veterans with GWI and 508 deployed veterans who did not develop any GWI symptoms, all randomly selected from more than 8,000 representative Gulf War-era veterans who completed the U.S. Military Health Survey. They not only gauged sarin exposure – by asking whether the veterans had heard chemical nerve gas alarms sound during their deployment – but also collected blood and DNA samples from each veteran

 

The researchers tested the samples for variants of a gene called PON1. There are two versions of PON1: the Q variant generates a blood enzyme that efficiently breaks down sarin while the R variant helps the body break down other chemicals but is not efficient at destroying sarin. Everyone carries two copies of PON1, giving them either a QQ, RR or QR genotype.

For Gulf War veterans with the QQ genotype, hearing nerve agent alarms – a proxy for chemical exposure – raised their chance of developing GWI by 3.75 times. For those with the QR genotype, the alarms raised their chance of GWI by 4.43 times. And for those with two copies of the R gene, inefficient at breaking down sarin, the chance of GWI increased by 8.91 times. Those soldiers with both the RR genotype and low-level sarin exposure were over seven times more likely to get GWI due to the interaction per se, over and above the increase in risk from both risk factors acting alone. For genetic epidemiologists, this number leads to a high degree of confidence that sarin is a causative agent of GWI.

“Your risk is going up step by step depending on your genotype, because those genes are mediating how well your body inactivates sarin,” said Dr. Haley. “It doesn’t mean you can’t get Gulf War illness if you have the QQ genotype, because even the highest-level genetic protection can be overwhelmed by higher intensity exposure.”

This kind of strong gene-environment interaction is considered a gold standard for showing that an illness like GWI was caused by a particular environmental toxic exposure, he added. The research doesn’t rule out that other chemical exposures could be responsible for a small number of cases of Gulf War illness. However, Dr. Haley and his team carried out additional genetic analyses on the new data, testing other factors that could be related, and found no other contributing causes.

 

“There’s no other risk factor coming anywhere close to having this level of causal evidence for Gulf War illness,” said Dr. Haley.

The team is continuing research on how GWI impacts the body, particularly the immune system, whether any of its effects are reversible, and whether there are biomarkers to detect prior sarin exposure or GWI.
