My New computer and "Swatting"

Before I get into what I am blogging about, first off the spousal unit got me a small "portable" computer.  I have until recently used my work tablet that my employer used for both work and play.  It  was a HP elitepad pro and I used it to look at IPC references(Illustrated Parts catalog) to order parts while I was working along with Aircraft maintenance references.  I also used the tablet for other things that were work related, I also had my kindle on it and used that to read books.  Well they decided a month ago to have all the mechanics return the tablets because HP wasn't supporting them anymore.  I had inquired about buying it because they had Windows 10 and Microsoft was supporting the operating system.  Well that went nowhere.   Oh Well.

I ordered a protective case for the computer, I know me and I am clumsy.

On a different note, I will talk about SWATTING, it is a technique whereas someone contacts the authorities and makes a call usually involving people shot and hostages to provoke an overreaction by the authorities.  The calls are false but the Police don't know that and they roll in expecting the worst.

Well it did happen Wichita Kansas and one of the gamers tried to SWAT his opponent.  The full article is HERE

Here is a couple of screenshots of the twitter users

This one was made by the person that did the SWATTING

As was this one.

I have blogged about SWATTING in the past and we in Georgia had an incident where a man that was carrying whom happened to be black had someone make a call on him.  The local police dept didn't go in guns blazing and just had in interview with the CCW holder.  This ended well.  Many people of the antigun community have told others through twitter that they go out of the way to call the PoPo on people either open carrying or CCW hoping to provoke an overreaction to the call so the CCW or the open carry person gets shot.  This is a despicable tactic totally devoid of honor.

And here is another
People can die by this tactic.

Tim Conways "Elephant Story Blooper".

I have this saved in my favorites on "YouTube", I ran across this a few years ago, the infamous "Elephant Story" from Tim Conway.  I can watch that clip and bust out a laughing everytime.  To try to see everyone try to hold their composure and not let on that they are laughing so hard.  I don't know if they can do humor like this anymore.  They didn't use any bad words except for "Momma", Vicki Lawrence's character,, she said one word toward the end.

the final season of The Carol Burnett Show during the Password sketch. Cast member Tim Conway ad-libbed a story about elephants and cracked up his cast mates during both the dress rehearsal and the final taping. In the first one he talks about seeing an elephant with a dwarf trainer and mentioning that there was a rumor going around the circus that the elephant and the trainer were lovers, pushing Burnett, Lawrence, and Van Dyke to a breaking point and hiding their faces from the audience. At one point the camera focuses on Burnett and Lawrence staring at him in exasperation. Finally, Burnett started swatting at Conway with the game card to get him to stop. In the second one he talks about seeing a pair of Siamese elephants during a trip to a freak show, describing in detail how they were connected at the trunk and the sounds they made. The audience was in hysterics the entire time while Burnett, Lawrence and Dick Van Dyke desperately struggled to maintain composure, and even Conway is seen trying to stifle his laughter numerous times. At one point Lawrence looked at Burnett, started to look away, then did a quick look back at her and had to turn away, breaking character and laughing. Several times when Conway would stop, the rest of the cast would collect themselves, at which point Conway would continue with his ad libbing, pushing them again to the edge of breaking up. When Burnett managed to gain her composure one last time, she turned to Lawrence to help get the script moving again, to which Lawrence quipped (in character), "You sure that little asshole's through?" At that point chaos ensued with the entire cast breaking up and the audience was screaming with delight. Conway and Van Dyke both fell off the ends of the couch to the floor laughing, with Conway rolling around and Van Dyke lying flat on his back and eventually sitting up. Burnett fell back onto the couch and can be seen muttering to herself while shaking with laughter. Lawrence herself managed to keep it together for only a few seconds after everyone fell apart before cracking up herself. In an interview, Lawrence talks about the famous sketch, recalling that it was her husband's suggestion to "get" Conway when she found out between tapings that the elephant story part of the sketch was being changed but was not given any details. The director's only advice on it was "good luck". She also noted that it was one of the rare occasions when she really cut loose on the show.

The Famous or "infamous" Elephant Story.
I watched it 2 times in a row and still busted out laughing.

Tim Conway and the "Elephant" Skit.

I am doing a repeat blogpost, I am still recovering from the Thanksgiving Food Coma.  We did go see "Ford Vs Ferrari", an excellent movie.

Violence and the Left 5 part strategy to foment chaos.

I clipped this from Townhall, the information is accurate based on what I know of "The Antifa Movement"

AP Photo/Marcio Jose Sanchez

President Trump’s designation of Antifa as a “major terrorist organization” is a major step in dealing with the epidemic of left-wing violence that has gripped the country.  For the first time, we have a president who understands that riots with pallets of bricks that show up at just the right time and place, attacks on law enforcement and on passing motorists, physical attacks on opponents and even assassination do not just arise organically but instead are all part of a larger subversive strategy that enables and supports the left’s violence.

Just prosecuting a violent leftist here and there without countering that subversive strategy is like swatting a mosquito or two while leaving in place the pool of stagnant water that breeds them. Consequently, the president’s executive order recognizes that any effort to stop left-wing violence has to address the larger ideological, organizational, and financial feeder system that breeds and incites that violence.

Now comes the challenge for mainstream Americans.  The radical left knows that the political will to carry out President Trump’s directive will depend on continuing support from mainstream America, and so the left will mount a counter-offensive to wear away public support for any attempt to counter the left’s subversion.  If you think leftists get unhinged when someone simply disagrees with them, wait until you see their reaction when their support network is investigated, their funding is threatened, and they feel exposed and cornered. The left-wing media and elected Democrats who supported the weaponization of government against peaceful opponents during the Obama and Biden administrations have already started a propaganda campaign with cries of “fascism” and “dictatorship” at the prospect of leftists being held accountable for inciting and committing political violence.

To hold fast in the face of the left’s counter-offensive, mainstream Americans need to see how the pieces of the left’s strategy work together to demoralize and destabilize our system of government. In his must-read book, The Memo: Twenty Years Inside the Deep State Fighting for America First, Rich Higgins describes in detail the pattern of subversion that he encountered within America’s security apparatus and his attempt to warn President Trump about it. In addition to a shocking account of delay and subversion from within the deep state, Higgins also reveals in this book and in his other work how leftist violence is only one of five lines of effort in the Maoist approach to political warfare. Expanding on his work, we see the outlines of the left’s five-part

(1) Forming alliances of grievance groups:  Socialists, radical feminists, minorities, gender identity groups, climate extremists, Islamists, and other grievance groups are pulled together toward a common aim, the destruction of the Judeo-Christian foundations of America and the West.  Supported by a complex web of foreign and domestic funding, conflicting interests such as those of the LGBT movement and those promoting sharia law are tempered—at least for now—by that shared aim.

(2) Non-violent action: Many of the left’s tactics are non-violent in themselves but promote a dangerous climate for anyone who disagrees with their authoritarian agenda. Condemnatory terms such as “homophobic,” “Islamophobic,” “transphobic,” or “fascist” and characterizing opposing opinions as driven by hate are all intended to intimidate and silence any viewpoints deemed politically incorrect by the radical left. Boycotts of companies that don’t toe the party line as well as deplatforming and debanking of opponents create a climate of fear and send a clear message that you will pay if you cross the left.

(3) Violent action and intimidation: The above tactics provide propaganda air cover for looting, riots, attacks on people who disagree, and even assassination as supposedly legitimate means of bringing down “fascists” and the hateful and oppressive system they support. As was the case with the paramilitary Red Guard in China, we see that young people are particularly enticed to join in the destruction of the existing cultural and political order.

(4)  Sanctuary:  Subversive actors need safe spaces where they can be encouraged and protected from the consequences of their actions, and so speech codes and leftist indoctrination in our education system make it clear that only left-wing opinions are permissible and that open exploration of ideas should not be tolerated.  Left-wing DAs who view criminals as victims and victims as oppressors release dangerous offenders on the street, undermining public trust in government protection.

(5) Direct political action: The above tactics then enable the election of radical leftists who use the formal power of government to attack and undermine our constitutional system. You don’t’ have to search long to see a number of public officials who already spout the Marxist line under the cover of “progressive” or “democratic socialist” labels.

When we see the full extent of the left’s multi-front campaign of subversion, it becomes clear that only a multi-front response such as that in President Trump’s directive has any hope of protecting public safety and restoring our ability to have civil discussion of differences without threats of violence from the left.  When you hear the left bemoaning “weaponization” of government, remember that an age-old tactic of the left is to accuse their opponents of what the left actually does.

The Elephant Skit and Tim Conway.

I was showing this at work when we had a few minutes and the young guys at work had never seen this so I enjoyed "edjamacating" them.

Friday night musings.......

Perhaps besides my "Monday Music" I could go with Wednesday cartoon and a Friday Musing...?  Save my political rants for Friday so they have had a week to ferment....Like that analogy?   Then I intersperse the assorted aviation, gun,car pron over the rest of the week?    Sweet!!!

     First off, get some coffee..
Love the Mug;)

First off I will talk about Ebola ...You know the disease that has been ravaging certain areas of Africa for a long time, but it has been in the rural areas......Now it hit the cities and the local people have gone nuts.  They loot hospitals and other things and use tribal superstitions to treat it.....then they die to paraphrase a movie quote from the Wild Geese...." In great bleeding batches"...since part of the symptoms of Ebola is vomiting blood.....
We were successful in treating 2 of the people that were with a medical groups trying to make a difference...They were brought here in controlled circumstances..Then we had Patient "Zero" A Nigerian that even though he was sick and knew it, caught a commercial flight to America.  But it took several days before the Texas hospital realized what they had because of a "glitch" in the system...doesn't exactly inspire confidence.   Well he gets treated on our dime....and croaks anyway.  But we have the professional race hustlers stirring it up because that is what they do, that is how they get money and influence.  So We have Jesse the king race pimp saying it was because the victim was black, he received sub standard care....because of "Racism."   Jeez......This guy comes over, exposes a lot of people to the virus and his relatives are trying to get money from the hospital and the state.....I guess the Nigerian scams ain't paying as well.
The CDC an arm of the .gov hasn't exactly inspired confidence by telling one of the nurses that treated Patient"zero", she was running a temperature and told her it was "ok" for her to climb on a commercial aircraft and fly to Atlanta.   And speaking of .gov, we have President Obama, who refuses to commit to ISIS instead wants to fly 4000 soldiers and marines to Africa to build hospital and other facilities to assist the Ebola outbreak.   I have several issues...the first one is that it will expose a lot of Americans to Ebola....also Those areas are not secure, I can see an islamic group snagging some Dr's or military medical personal and chopping her or her neck on a youtube video.  We are doing this so we can be politically correct.  It is a higher priority for the President to go Ebola than ISIS, you know the ISIS that has been butchering Christains with no repercussions....but let some Africans get sick and the President goes postal......Am I missing something here....?

I am trying to figure out why we havn't told the commercial carriers not to fly to that area of Africa...The airlines will not make that decision on their own for fear of the political fallout.  "Delta be racist because they stopped flying to Africa."  Airlines are risk adverse...they want to avoid bad PR like a rash...(I know...Another bad pun.)  The Administration will not order an air quarantine for the same reason.
The last time there was a pandemic was in 1918, right after the end of the "War to end all wars"   The disease spread from people on ships....now we have them on airplanes?
We have an NBC DR who is a commentator who decided to get soup and violated her quarantine
because she felt that she was above the law and such things are for " the little people" not for her and her kind.
We have the prepper community believing that this is the "Zombie" virus and are stocking up on gloves and mask and other stuff.   I do want to touch on something.....like I said, I am letting my touretts have full flow...What happens then the Ebola gets entrenched here in the United States, it will most likely start in the large urban areas...which is filled with people that have an axe to grind with the establishment, what do you think will happen?  Think Ferguson Missouri, we have a group that have been agitated by the race pimps and what you think is going to happen?

I am a suspicious sort, I wonder if it is be design,,,Remember we have a porous southern border, I can see the disease coming over and infecting people in the central and south America....They will come to America to get the free medical treatment and at the same time they will infect many others....what happens when people refuse to work for fear of catching a disease...?
The collapse that Saul Alinsky and his assorted minions including our "Dear Leader" have been prophesied will happen.  The sheer overload of the system will collapse it and the .gov can declare martial law and the elitist can form their perfect society...you know the one that all the socialist textbooks have been wanting.    Nothing like "not letting a crisis go to waste."
Guess where we fall in.....Yep you guessed it......we would become defacto slaves to the government...."For the Public good..."    Farfetched....perhaps a little.....that being said.....Don't underestmate the power of stupid people.....Remember we have a self styled "Community activist" that got elected 2 times to the most powerful office in the land.....
"Dear Leader"

We also have the Nanny Statist Bloomburg supported "Moms demand action" still terrorizing the local Kroger grocery stores and having their supporters "SWATTING" any person that is open carrying.  This happened to Several People already.  The vaunted tolerance of the left is so refreshing.  If you agree with them, they are all about free speech and free expression....but let yourself disagree with them...and the vitriol just spews.
We have the election cycle and the Stupid Party GOP is in danger of losing an opportunity to take the senate by some miscues by their candidates.   That being said, we have democratic candidates getting nailed for refusing to reveal if they voted for Obama, Here in Georgia, Michelle Nunn is having this problem.

I will be glad to see the election cycle over.....for a while anyway.
