Another Hitler parody video involving Hillary Clinton

Here is another Hitler Parody video and this one is actually pretty good, the person doing it paid attention to the screaming dialogue and almost matched it up with a modern flair.

Election day musings..

I intetially avoided watching any news and avoided as much as I could the gossip amongst the mechanics as we worked on the airplanes.  I did like when my lead commented after our crew meeting"alright you deplorables...Now go to work".  I was going to lunch and the word spread " they called it Trump won and Clinton conceeded",   I was pleased,    Now we have to come together as Americans....But first I will gloat a bit for all the media and other elitist that pushed the Clinton campaign....

 

Now we as Americans have to come together as a united people.  We have been separated by class, race and gender and people forget that we are Americans, now we have to be reminded of that.

 

I remembered a clip from my favorite show Babylon 5 right the liberation of Earth from the dictatorship that was the sitting president.   I remembered the phrase "we are sons and daughters of Earth and in the coming months we need to remember that."    That is my belief...

I saw this article from a pundit on Foxnews and last night and I really liked it so I shamelessly ripped it off.

 

Donald Trump shocked pundits (and many political experts) Wednesday by winning the presidency. But his followers weren’t shocked at all.
They understood from the start the power of Trump’s message, and the anger of middle class Americans.
Americans suffering from stagnant wages and lost jobs, who were the last to benefit from the liberal agenda of Barack Obama.
Americans fed up with the self-serving Washington political establishment, the crony capitalism and the insufferable political correctness stifling our workplaces and our universities.
Americans tired of the intellectual elites who look down on flag waving and old-fashioned patriotism and consider themselves morally superior.

Deplorables to Clinton: take that! A clear majority wanted to set the country on a new direction, and Donald Trump promised to do just that. He promised to Make America Great Again, and they believed him.
Even as the returns flowed in, the results appeared to shock the mainstream media commentators reporting on the vote. They didn’t expect blue collar workers in Ohio to flow to Trump; they couldn’t believe that union voters, such predictable backers of Democrats historically, would line up in the red column.

Where have these people been? This has been the bedrock of Trump’s support. People didn’t flood those huge Trump rallies because of rock stars like Jay Z or Lady Gaga; they turned out because Trump was saying what they longed to hear.

They cheered when Trump said he would revamp our trade policies to protect U.S. workers. They liked that he promised to close our borders and reestablish the rule of law. They especially applauded his pledge to take on the corrupt elites in Washington and to push for term limits.

The pundits expected Hispanics to hand several swing states to Clinton; while turnout was only modestly higher with the Latino community, Trump appears to have done about as well as Romney did with that community. That was unexpected.

Maybe next time Democrats should try to speak to the whole country, and stop slicing and dicing the electorate. Stronger together indeed!
Here’s what else happened in the 2016 election: voters decided to put the Clintons and their greedy corruption out to pasture. Clinton had everything going for her: a compliant media, a popular president in her corner, over a billion dollars in campaign fund and a well-organized party apparatus.
At the end, none of it mattered. Clinton had no message and no vision. She wandered as a candidate, portraying herself alternately as a benevolent grandma, a firebrand progressive and a champion of women and children.

In the closing weeks of the campaign she was the angry, shrill prude offended by Donald Trump’s lewd remarks about women, while at the same time lauding Jay Z’s foul lyrics. There is noting genuine about Mrs. Clinton. She is a hypocrite and she is dishonest, and the voters know it.
Clinton apologists will blame FBI Director James Comey for the loss, they will blame Vladimir Putin; they will say she lost because she is a woman. None of it is true. Hillary was a terrible candidate.

There will be enormous handwringing in both parties over the incredible success of Donald Trump. Pundits will dredge up any number of abstruse rationales for how Trump overcame long odds and humiliated both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
It’s not that complicated. Average Americans, the men and women who work hard and play by the rules, decided to make their voices heard.

Now comes the hard part. Trump will have to flesh out a thoroughly undernourished organization and quickly find the people who can carry out his agenda. The media will be gunning for him; impatient voters who took a chance on an untested leader may not have much patience.
Trump promised to quickly convene a special session of Congress and demand that they repeal and remodel ObamaCare. It is a brilliant idea. Imagine how excited the country would be to see actual progress. Maybe this will be the next shocker; Donald Trump might turn out to be a good president.

Election time...

Monday Music "It's the end of the world as we know it...and I feel fine " by R.E.M

I decided to roll with this song, I figured it would be apropos because the election is tomorrow and no matter who wins, almost 50% of the population will be disappointed.   I have already made my political opinion known and I hope that the Donald wins, but I have concerns that there will be a fix for Hillary and her emails and other things will cause her to have a lot of problems.
     I first heard of R.E.M while I was in Germany.  I really liked this song along with "losing my religion" from a later album.   They were alternative before Nirvana and the other "grunge" bands became mainstream.  

R.E.M. was an American rock band from Athens, Georgia, formed in 1980 by lead vocalist Michael Stipe, lead guitarist Peter Buck, bassist/backing vocalist Mike Mills, and drummer Bill Berry. One of the first alternative rock bands, R.E.M. were noted for Buck's ringing, arpeggiated guitar style, Stipe's particular vocal quality, and Mills' melodic basslines and backing vocals. R.E.M. released their first single, "Radio Free Europe", in 1981 on the independent record label Hib-Tone. The single was followed by the Chronic Town EP in 1982, the band's first release on I.R.S. It was released as a single in November 1987, reaching No. 69 in the US Billboard Hot 100 and later reaching No. 39 on the UK Singles Chart on its re-release in December 1991.

The song originated from a previously unreleased song called "PSA" ("Public Service Announcement"); the two are very similar in melody and tempo. "PSA" was itself later reworked and released as a single in 2003, under the title "Bad Day." In an interview with Guitar World magazine published in November 1996, R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck agreed that "End of the World" was in the tradition of Bob Dylan's "Subterranean Homesick Blues.". Facebook Rant and working...

I have been working the overtime, something about MD90's....I don't mind the Overtime but I ain't used to the MD90 series of airplanes....they are "cramped".  but they are old school airplanes as we call it.   I have been posting some political meme's and am surprised that I haven't been put in Facebook jail yet. 

    I posted this on a post from one of the older scouts, he voted for the first time and was proud to throw the lever for "Trump".  Some of the other people took him to task for doing so and I and others defended his choices.   I did this post at 0500 in the morning when I saw that a couple of people were being really ugly.  I normally don't post using my phone because I pride myself on my sentence structure and proper punctuation but I typed this one out.

To me it isn't the man but the message. It is a big "screw you" to the establishment. For 20+ years we have been blown off by the Democrats and Republicans. Both are more concerned about helping their big donors and protected groups than helping the middle class. We have watched our high paying middle class jobs leave never to return because companies find it cheaper to build it away and bring the products back. Our tax laws are byzantine in nature. We have unrestricted immigration into this country and the cheap labor is a boon to the donors and horrible to the middle class and drive down wages. We have people that will not assimilate to our culture and bring crime that impacts the middle class. The people that support this live in their bubble communities surrounded by people that think like they do, they don't see the devastation caused by the job loss and immigration. We see our culture and traditions mocked and we are having to apologize for being Americans. This is why we support Trump, perhaps he will not be able to change the culture of corruption in D.C but the fact that he scares the crap out of the establishment is a sign. It is not the man but the message. I flat out can't support Hillary, the fact that she played with classified documents on her private server. I remember the rules I had to deal with when I handled classified documents and if I had done what she did, I would be in Leavenworth confinement barracks. The rules apply to us but she is part of the establishment and gets a pass. Also the pay to play while she was a senator and secstate. Foreign countries had to do "donate" to the foundation before she would do anything. The same foundation that is registered in Canada to avoid Non disclosure laws here in America. She represents the culture of corruption that is endemic in D.C. also that the DNC shafted Bernie Sanders to help in the coronation of Hillary. I know I didn't use proper spacing and paragraphs. I am using my kinda Smart phone.

2 officers ambushed in Des Moines Iowa.

Damm what the hell, two more cops got  ambushed in Iowa no less.  This crap pisses me off and I blame the current denizen in the White House.  he has been fomenting a war on cops since he got elected.  The clown hasn't gotten past his "community Organizer" roots to realize that he is supposed to be President of all the people, not the select groups that form the base of the democrat party. 

 

I am glad that my Dad retired as a Chief of PoPo a few years ago.  This constant war on the cops and I wonder if it will be somebody from the BLM movement or some of the unvetted refugees that got dumped over there.    I am dismayed,  I haven't ever seen it this bad, In the 60's the government supported the Law and Order types and the Police and now you have segments of the government supporting the troublemakers and this will not end well.  I pray for the families during this time that they find the peace that they will need through the trying time ahead.

DES MOINES, Iowa --

Two police officers were shot to death early Wednesday in ambush-style attacks while they were sitting in their patrol cars, authorities said.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired at 1:06 a.m. and found an Urbandale Police Department officer who had been shot. Authorities from several agencies saturated the area after that shooting, and about 20 minutes later discovered that a Des Moines officer had been shot in a patrol car at an intersection, Des Moines Sgt. Paul Parizek said. The shootings happened about 2 miles apart.

"There's somebody out there shooting police officers. We hope to find him before somebody else gets hurt," said Parizek, who became emotional at times during a news conference.

Authorities are developing suspect information but there was nothing that they were ready to share with the public, Parizek said. Officers are now doing patrols in pairs to better protect themselves, he said.

Parizek said he didn't have any more information about the shootings.

Urbandale is a city in the Des Moines metro area with about 50 officers.

Monday Music "Nirvana" Come as you are

I had in mind to do this song after my favorite blogbabe asked me to "do Nirvana", and I can't say no to blonds so I lined up Nirvana for her.   I remembered when Nirvana exploded on the music scene.  The "grunge" or alternative music was going mainstream and it was pushing my 80's hair metal bands out of the limelight.  This was in 1992 when I heard of Nirvana.   Kurt Cobain was later touted as the "voice" of the GEN Xers or the slacker generation.  The musical influence of Nirvana can't be understated.  I saw something on Facebook a few months ago and it showed the kid on the album cover all grown up.  Talking about making me feel old after seeing this.

 

I was saddened to hear about the death of Kurt Cobain, apparently his demons won and he decided to end it with a shotgun.  It seems like some of the greatest minds also have the greatest demons and the good guys don't always win.  

Nevermind is the second studio album by the American rock band Nirvana, released on September 24, 1991 by DGC Records. Produced by Butch Vig, Nevermind was the group's first release on DGC. Lead singer Kurt Cobain sought to make music outside of the restrictive confines of the Seattle grunge scene, drawing influence from groups such as the Pixies and their use of "loud/quiet" dynamics. Kurt was nervous about 'Come as You Are' because it was too similar to a Killing Joke song but we all thought it was still the better song to go with. And, he was right, Killing Joke later did complain about it."Nirvana biographer Everett True writes that "Come as You Are" was eventually chosen for release as a single because "Goldberg favoured the more obviously commercial song".

It was anticipated that the first single from Nevermind, "Smells Like Teen Spirit", would be a "base-building alternative cut", while "Come as You Are" would be able to cross over into other radio formats. However, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" became a surprise hit and boosted the band's popularity, whereas "Come as You Are" served to maintain it. After its release as a single in March 1992, "Come as You Are" peaked at number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single stayed on the chart for 18 weeks. Although members of Killing Joke claimed the main guitar riff of "Come as You Are" plagiarized the riff of "Eighties", the band reportedly did not file a copyright infringement lawsuit, which Rolling Stone magazine attributes to "personal and financial reasons". However, conflicting reports state that Killing Joke did file a lawsuit but that it was either thrown out of court, or that it was dropped following Cobain's death. Geordie Walker, Killing Joke's guitar player, said that the band was "very pissed off about that, but it's obvious to everyone. We had two separate musicologists' reports saying it was. Our publisher sent their publisher a letter saying it was and they went 'Boo, never heard of ya!', but the hysterical thing about Nirvana saying they'd never heard of us was that they'd already sent us a Christmas card!"

I have been working some long hours this week at work with the employee involvement group that I am a member of so I figured I would post a couple of video's that I have posted in the past and are good for a laugh.

       I showed this video to a person from "inFlight Services" and she had never had seen this before and almost passed out laughing at the video.

   And of course the "Saga of Bjorn" is a popular one.

Shooting and Voting.

I was off today from work and I decided to take advantage of the early voting and go ahead and do it rather than wait for November 8.  But I decided to go "All American", go shoot then vote...so I bundled off a couple of rifles.  I of course took my AR, the battery had died in the optics and I wanted to sight it in better at a longer distance range.   So I got my stuff together....

I got my American Eagle ammo together, I remember reading somewhere that it is like the "lake city" loads and my AR likes it.  But my AR ain't picky  except with Tula Arms and there will be more about that in a few.   I had my rifle ready, the replacement battery for my optics, the standard 20 round magazine and the crap Tula ammo to just plink.

 

        Decent grouping and I found out that I really had the wrong target for "dialing" in the rifle....and I suffering from "squirrel syndrome" left my multitool at home to adjust the sight, but I found in my rifle bag...this...

  And it worked just fine and I am sure there is irony somewhere in this ;)
I got my rifle dialed in respectable and switched to the crap Tula ammo just to shoot it off,

Yep it performed as expected.......bad primers and insufficient powder to fully cycle the rifle action....Like I said, Tula is better than nothing...and anything else is better than Tula.  Well I then decided to switch rifles....I brought out the rifle that I haven't fired in over 25 years...Last time I fired it was in 1990 when I was in a 800 meter silhouette targets in Europe...

It is my 6.5X55 Swedish Mauser.  It has been set up for target shooting...and I forgot how loud it was and the recoil.   I bought it in this configuration and had the original stock and like a dork gave the stock away to one of my German shooting buddies.  

Looking at the  peep sights....

Back in the mid 80's it was a shooter, but I don't know how well it would run today.  The barrel is fully floating, there is lead inside the foregrip to help with the recoil and the trigger pull is like 1 pound or less.  I had thought about putting a scope on it but I have issues with tapping a receiver especially one that old.  I can't do it, it would take away from the rifle.

I enjoyed shooting the rifles and it was a treat for me to shoot the Gustav again.  Now if I can find a reliable source of ammo I would start shooting again to see how well she would stack up against the "race guns".
     I then went from the range to the early voting...

  I wasn't crazy for pulling the lever for Trump but Hillary was a non-option.  I ain't voting for the man but the message that we "dirt people" still have a say.

Monday Music "Cats in the Cradle" by Harry Chafin

  This song I heard back in the 70's and I remembered it because of the story it told of a father that was always "too busy".  I saw similarities between this and the relationship between me and my Dad.  I know it was a different time and my dad had to work.  he was a CID agent with the U.S Army and his job kept him hopping so he wasn't around much.  My dad did try to play catch with me and my brother a few times and do other things like go fishing as "the guys" but he wasn't around much as I would have hoped.  We took a back burner to his career and I don't hate him for it,  It was the way it was.  His devotion to duty is where I got mine and my brother got his so we did learn a lot from our Dad.  But also because this song I make sure that I am available for my son and his activities and I spend a lot of time with my son because he is my son and he is a good kid and hopefully he will be a good man.  This song reminded me of that time can move quickly and before you know it, you will be attending graduation and wondering "what the hell happened".  I try to balance my work and home life as the best I can.  My son is my legacy and I try to "do right" by him.       I have a 90's song in mind for next weeks "Monday Music"


"Cat's in the Cradle" is a 1974 folk rock song by Harry Chapin from the album Verities & Balderdash. The single topped the Billboard Hot 100 in December 1974. As Chapin's only No. 1 hit song, it became the best known of his work and a staple for folk rock music. Chapin's recording of the song was nominated for the 1975 Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2011.

The song's lyrics began as a poem written by Harry's wife, Sandra "Sandy" Gaston; the poem itself was inspired by the awkward relationship between her first husband, James Cashmore, and his father, John, a politician who served as Brooklyn Borough President. She was also inspired by a country music song she had heard on the radio.  Harry also said the song was about his own relationship with his son, Josh, admitting, "Frankly, this song scares me to death."

The song is told in the first-person by a father who is too busy with work to spend time with his son. Each time the son asks him to join in childhood activities, the father issues vague promises of spending time together in the future. While disappointed, the son accepts his excuses and yearns to "be like you, Dad." The first verse tells of his absence at his son's birth and walking, as "there were planes to catch and bills to pay"; the second verse relates the father buying the son a baseball as a birthday present but likewise declining to play catch.
The final two verses reverse the roles. In the third verse, the son returns home from college and his father finally has some time to spend with him. Instead, the son just wants to go out and asks the father for the car keys. The fourth verse advances the story quite some time, when the father is long retired and his son has started his own family some distance away. The father makes a phone call to his son and invites him for a visit, but the son has his own issues with his job and his children are sick with the flu. He tells his father he will visit him if he "can find the time" and says "it's been sure nice talking to you" before he says goodbye. The final two lines of the song reflect the father's observation of what has happened:

The song's chorus references several childhood things: The Cat's in the Cradle string game, silver spoons that are given to babies as christening gifts, and the nursery rhymes Little Boy Blue and Man in the Moon.

How Donald Trump changed U.S Politics....and it will never be the same

I saw this at ROK.     Sometimes I will shamelessly rip off info from another site especially if I like it and I think my fellow bloggers and readers will find it useful.   I have tried to explain the "Donald Effect".  to my liberal friends.  Basically the GOPe and the Democrats created him over the past 20 years.   The middle class felt left behind because the GOPe catered to the donor class and the Democrats did also and catered to the "protected class of Immigrants" looking to secure another monolithic block  to ensure permanent power and nobody was looking out the American middle class.  We had our high paying jobs getting outsourced and what was available didn't even come close to making the same money and you throw in the circus of Obamacare and *Poof* you have Trump.

Whether you love him or hate him, you can’t deny that Donald Trump’s run for the presidency has had a huge effect on the country, especially our broken political process. Right now the globalists are working overtime to crush Trump and his message. They believe that if they can stop Trump, Americans will go back to being bovine worker drones in their globalist machine. But that is impossible. What has been seen cannot be unseen.
Here are some of the ways that Trump has forever changed US politics.

The message is more important than money

Up until Trump announced his candidacy, the assumption has been that the candidate with the largest war chest wins. DC beltway analysts and New York marketing experts had elections down to a science. If you can afford to pay the best experts and buy more ads than your competition, you’ll win. A good example of this was the Marco Rubio campaign. Everything about Rubio was done according to the textbook. His message was created and market tested in conjunction with Frank Luntz to ensure it would have maximum voter appeal. All that Rubio had to do was execute, run the requisite number of television ads, and he would win. That conventional wisdom was forever destroyed by Trump.
Instead of following this conventional route, Trump went with his gut. No doubt he consulted certain people such as Senator Jeff Sessions in constructing his immigration message, but his general approach was to bypass focus groups and target big issues that voters felt strongly about. Because Trump staked out positions that resonated with the GOP voter base he was able to build a durable following without spending a lot of money. According to Bloomberg, Hillary has spent roughly $432M on the campaign while Trump has spent $213M—less than half. Yet the polls are still close so Trump’s focus on message over Madison Avenue advertising experts is paying off.

Another piece of conventional wisdom that has been proven wrong by Trump is the idea that you cannot offend anyone in the electorate, even very tiny portions of it. You can see it in Hillary’s message, which is 100% focused on women and minorities. Mainstream Republican candidates are a little less politically correct but not by much. While they might say “radical Islamic terror,” they are always very quick to point out that Islam itself is a religion of peace. All terrorists are, in the GOP view, “perverters” of Islam. The reasoning behind this “don’t offend” approach is that a politician cannot afford to lose even one vote.
There are many problems with this approach but the biggest one is that sometimes solving a problem requires offending a group of people. Trump’s statement that there seems to be a problem with Islam and terrorism could definitely be construed as being offensive toward Muslims, but until we have the courage to have an open discussion about it, we will never solve the problem of terrorism. Trump’s defeat of 16 of GOP’s best and brightest proves that it is more important to speak the truth than it is to worry about who you offend.

The greatest gift that Trump’s candidacy has given us is the realization is that the Conservative Movement that powers the Republican Party was never meant to change America for the better. It’s only purpose was to provide the appearance that voters have a real choice. This allowed the progressive agenda of feminism, gay marriage, and the elimination of national borders to advance without the masses rising up in open rebellion.
The fact that the GOP was only a fake opposition party became evident from the moment that Trump announced his candidacy. During his speech Trump mentioned two distinctive policies that have defined him ever since. The first is the idea that illegal immigration must be stopped. The second was that the US has negotiated bad trade deals that are decimating US manufacturing. While other Republicans had mentioned immigration as a problem in the past, none of the 2016 batch of candidates had made it a priority. And none of the other Republicans had chosen to attack existing trade deals.
There was swift retribution for Trump’s comments. Several companies canceled contracts that they had with Trump’s company. The Republican elite rushed to condemn Trump’s statements as offensive to Hispanics. They also dismissed Trump as not being a serious candidate.
As it became clear that Trump was winning, the GOP establishment tested various other attacks  to no avail. At the GOP convention, most of them grudgingly endorsed Trump, but they were just waiting for a more opportune moment to attack Trump. That moment came after the “grab them by the pussy” tapes were released on October 7^th. GOP leaders and pundits coordinated their statements against Trump with the media and the Democrats.
The reason the GOP establishment is working to stop Trump because he represents a genuine departure from the standard Democrat and Republican policies. Trump’s policies threaten to take away power from the donor class, the wealthy plutocrats who really run the country. By attacking Trump the Republican establishment demonstrated that it was only interested in representing the interests of its wealthy donors, not its voters.
If elected, Trump will have a chance to change the Republican Party into a party that really represents the interests of most Americans. If he loses, the GOP will likely try to revert back to its fake opposition policy but no one will be fooled into thinking that it presents a real alternative.

The media is a mouthpiece of the ruling elite

Regular readers of Return of Kings have seen the perfidy of the mainstream media before. When Roosh tried to hold meet-ups for men, the international press went into attack mode. Newspapers all over world obediently printed minor variations on the same false headline that Roosh was “pro-rape.” The same thing has occurred with Donald Trump when women began to accuse him of groping them.
Before publishing a story that tarnishes a person’s reputation, it is standard journalistic practice to check the accuracy of the story. This includes contacting the person who has been accused to get their response. It involves doing some checking of the accuser’s reputation and looking for corroboration. In the case of the women that Trump allegedly groped, none of this was done. The media ran the groping accusations even though the women’s stories were easily debunked because the media’s only job is to carry the water for the globalist elite.

Nowhere has this been more apparent than with the release of the Wikileaks Podesta emails. The emails show a high degree of coordination between the media and the Democrats. In one particularly egregious case, Politico writer asks Podesta to review what he has written to ensure he has not “fucked up” anything.

Conclusion

Although Trump has changed US politics, we will suffer a serious setback if he loses on November 8th. As I have written before, it is likely that Clinton will move quickly to modify US demographics to prevent another conservative from ever being elected. The big difference will be that we are now wiser as to how things really work. We’ve been rudely woken from our sleep and injected with 500 mg of caffeine. There is no way we are going back to sleep again.

Watching some movies on NETFLIX..

I have been taking a bit of time to relax. I do find myself a fan of movies that I watched when I was growing up.  I decided to talk about a couple of them.  These movies are what I call my "Top 10" movies that I will watch over and over again. 

The Enemy Below is a 1957 war film which tells the story of the battle between the captain of an American destroyer escort and the commander of a German U-boat during World War II. The movie stars Robert Mitchum and Curt Jürgens and was directed and produced by Dick Powell. The film was based on a novel by Denys Rayner, a British naval officer involved in anti-submarine warfare throughout the Battle of the Atlantic.

 I really liked this movie.  The Star Trek (TOS) episode "Balance of Terror" with the cloaked Romulan ship attacking the federation outpost was based upon this movie.

  I also watched or am watching "300 Spartans", the movie The 300 Spartans is a 1962 CinemaScope film depicting the Battle of Thermopylae. Made with the cooperation of the Greek government, it was shot in the village of Perachora in the Peloponnese. It starred Richard Egan as the Spartan king Leonidas, Ralph Richardson as Themistocles of Athens and David Farrar as Persian king Xerxes, with Diane Baker as Ellas and Barry Coe as Phylon providing the requisite romantic element in the film. In the film, a force of Greek warriors, led by 300 Spartans, fights against a Persian army of almost limitless size. Despite the odds, the Spartans will not flee or surrender, even if it means their deaths.
        This movie is where I heard the term "Molon Labe"   or come and take them.

Additionally, there is a modern monument at the site, called the "Leonidas Monument", in honor of the Spartan king. It features a bronze statue of Leonidas. A sign, under the statue, reads simply: "Μολὼν λαβέ" ("Come and take them!"—as in answer to Xerxes' demand that the Greeks give up their weapons). The metope below depicts battle scenes. The two marble statues on the left and the right of the monument represent, respectively, the river Eurotas and Mount Taygetos, famous landmarks of Sparta

     And  I watched this movie last week The Siege of Jadotville is a 2016 historical drama war film directed by Richie Smyth and written by Kevin Brodbin. It was first screened at the 2016 Galway Film Festival.The film received a limited cinema distribution in Ireland in September 2016,and planned for simultaneous worldwide distribution on Netflix and a number of US iPic Theaters during October 2016.The film is based on Declan Power's book, The Siege at Jadotville: The Irish Army's Forgotten Battle (2005)
     I thought it was a good movie told from a perspective that I didn't know much about.  I had mentioned to Mac that this movie made the UN look like bumbling fools.  Here is more information at the Link  and a good PDF read of the events are Here.

     And finally I watched the movie "Zulu is a 1964 epic war film depicting the Battle of Rorke's Drift between the British Army and the Zulus in January 1879, during the Anglo-Zulu War. It depicts 150 British soldiers, many of whom were sick and wounded patients in a field hospital, who successfully held off a force of 4,000 Zulu warriors.

 The film was directed by American screenwriter Cy Endfield and produced by Stanley Baker and Endfield, with Joseph E. Levine as executive producer. The screenplay is by John Prebble and Endfield, based on an article by Prebble, a historical writer. The film stars Stanley Baker and introduces Michael Caine, in his first major role, with a supporting cast that includes Jack Hawkins, Ulla Jacobsson, James Booth, Nigel Green, Paul Daneman, Glynn Edwards, Ivor Emmanuel and Patrick Magee. Future South African political leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi played Zulu King Cetshwayo kaMpande, his great grandfather. The opening and closing narration is spoken by Richard Burton.

 I figured I would make a few pithy comments on a few things....First off we have the DNC, you know the people that are trying to push Hillary on us "little people" as a viable candidate for President.   The same people that believes that the rules don't apply to them.  You know the same people that are trying to foist the most corrupt politician since Huey Long on the American people...Well they got busted dumping crap down a storm drain...

Witness: DNC tour bus dumps human waste into storm drain

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA (CBS46) - Lawrenceville police are investigating a claim that involves a Democratic National Committee tour bus illegally dumping human waste into a storm drain between campaign stops.
The incident happened on Grayson Highway Tuesday morning after the bus left a campaign stop near the Gwinnett County Board of Elections Office where hundreds of voters were lined up to take part in Early Voting.
Police say when officers arrived on the scene, toilet paper was scattered on the roadway near the storm drain, there was a foul smell.
Mike Robins, manager of a nearby business, took several photos of the tour bus dumping waste into the storm drain. In the pictures, a liquid can be seen coming from the bottom of the bus.
According to Robins, a hazardous materials crew responded to the location and collected the waste to keep more of it from entering the storm drain.
"I don't care who you are. I don't care if you're Hillary Clinton. I don't care if you're Donald Trump. I don't care who you are, you don't throw human waste down a storm drain," said Robins. "Waste water just dumping all out in the street, poured out in the storm drain, and at this time I've got my cell phone out and I'm taking pictures cause I don't care who you are. That's just wrong."
CBS46 reached out to the DNC, which issued the following statement:

This was an honest mistake and we apologize to the Lawrenceville community for any harm we may have caused. We were unaware of any possible violations and have already taken corrective action with the charter bus company to prevent this from happening again. Furthermore, the DNC will work with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, as well as local and state officials to determine the best course of corrective action.

Gwinnett County's storm water department is now involved in the investigation along with the State Environment Protection Division.

   Now if us "little people" had done that, we would have the EPA on us like a ton of bricks...because we are citizens and not government.   Now if the Government makes a mess....nothing will happen...remember the huge EPA mess, the one that the EPA drilled where they were not supposed to, then broke through, caused a huge spill that polluted 3 states and the Navaho Nation's water.  Yep that one....After a year + of stalling, blowing off the IG and a myriad of other things, the person that caused the spill, noting happened to him.  If it was a company or a person....aw crap, we would be inundated with lawyers and investigators and any environmental group would be having a field day....but they make a mess.....move along.....move along..nothing to see here

     Millennial...you know the people that overwhelmingly supported Bernie and now support Hillary....Yep them.....Apparently there is an article out there that the large percentage of the millennials...support socialism and communism...

Of the 2,300 Americans polled by YouGov, 80% of baby boomers and 91% of the elderly agree with the statement that “communism was and still is a problem” in the world today. Millennials? Only 55%.

Furthermore, almost half of Americans between the ages of 16 and 20 said they would vote for a socialist, while 21% would go so far as to back a communist.
Capitalism, on the other hand, is viewed favorably by 64% of those over the age of 65, compared with only 42% of millennials.

In fact, more than half of millennials say the economic system works against them, while four out of 10 call for a “complete change” to ensure that the highest earners pay their fair share.

There’s a lack of historical perspective, according to the foundation, that the survey showed among a big chunk of the younger generation. For instance, a third of millennials say they believe more people were killed under George W. Bush than Joseph Stalin.
As far as familiarity with historical figures, this chart sums it up:

“One of the concerns [the foundation] has had since its establishment is that an emerging generation of Americans has little understanding of the collectivist system and its dark history,” said Marion Smith, executive director of the organization. “Unfortunately, this report, which we intend to release on an annual basis, confirms this worrisome impression.”

    Now I am disturbed, it shows how deep  the rot is in the educational system when people in the ivory towers are able to indoctrinate generations of students on a system that is a failure and their belief is that one day we will get the right people in there and it will finally work.  The problem is that as Margaret Thatcher stated "The problem with socialism is that one day you will run out of other peoples money".
     I remembered "Communism" and "Socialism" and what it did, I saw East Germany that had to build a wall to keep people inside so they wouldn't flee to the west for Freedom.  When I was in Berlin in 1987 I saw the lack of hope the crushing of the spirit that communism brings and the only people that seem to get ahead in communism and socialism are the leaders, every one else pays the price.

    Now back to politics,  A couple of GOP election offices have been vandalized, the one in North Carolina was burned down and a note was spray painted on the wall "NAZI Republicans get out".   And in Delaware, a GOP office had their windows busted down.  Now it is funny that the democrats are always blaming the conservatives for violence but they are the ones causing it from interrupting rally's for Trump to vandalism of vehicles, and many other things...I have never seen the emotions as inflamed as they are now and I blame the media for that, they have as a group overwhelming are in the bag for the democrats.   It is funny that something that is supposed to be protected in the U.S Constitution, the 1st amendment is being used by the statist to suppress the opposing candidate and it is troubling that more people are not aware or flat don't care.  I truly fear for my country and what my son will have to deal with as an adult.
