Establishment Republicans: Newt vs the Establishment

I am not crazy about Newt, I much preferred Herman Cain.  But sending an establishment republican like Romney against Obungler will give us 4 more years of Obungler and change we cannot afford.  Newt has weaknesses and skeletons but Romney has Romneycare which if he gets elected he will not get rid of Obunglercare.    He says that he will but I have severe doubts.  Obungler will run the class warfare machine on Romney big time...rich white person.versus minority person....can you see the ads now.....?
Who ever gets the nod for the Republicans I will support, but I will hold my nose when I pull the lever.  There is nobody to really get the base fired up.  We Tea party people have been squeezed out by the establishment GOP interest and they will run an establishment candidate against the Obungler and the establishment is so inept that they will hand Obungler 4 more years.  The GOP will be the tax collector for the welfare state.

    I got this off Politico

The conservative Republican base understands Newt Gingrich better than the GOP establishment thinks.
They are aware of his intermittent apostasies and occasional adventures with crackpot policy. They know Mitt Romney is the one with executive experience and that Gingrich can’t really run things.
And they don’t want Gingrich to run things. They want him to destroy things.
If you are in Washington and you see a member of the Republican establishment, say, walking down K Street, wrap your arms around them. He or she needs a hug, because probably for the first time ever in a Republican presidential primary the establishment is in danger of being completely ignored.
The Republican establishment believes that the birth and rebirth of candidate Gingrich should have ended in the cradle, that he had no right messing up Romney’s coronation in South Carolina and had better be stopped in Florida.
The establishment knows Gingrich. He’s kind of a friend of the Republican establishment. And Gingrich, the establishment says, you’re no president.
The establishment may be right. But it may not get its way. Win or lose Tuesday in Florida, Gingrich is in the game for real, because the Republican base is giving him a chance.
The grass-roots conservatives, tea partiers, evangelicals and the like who compose the base have had it with the establishment. The base is not only angry at President Barack Obama. The base wants to eat its own.
It was nice, polite Republicans, like Romney, who colluded with Democrats in expanding the federal government and who piled up the $15 trillion debt that now threatens to destroy the country. It was upstanding members of the GOP who added a new Medicare entitlement without paying for it, who created new agencies and wove myriad regulations to govern the lives of regular folk.
The base wants someone who is not polite, who is not conventional, who has the potential to grasp the established order in Washington by its cuff links and rip out its entrails.
For the same reason conservatives fell in love with blunt Herman Cain and his cigarette-puffing campaign manager, they now have eyes for Gingrich.
And the establishment is desperately trying to figure out what to do.
Sure, Republican primaries have, on occasion, created some turmoil. But in the end, someone “sensible” with the imprimatur of the establishment has always prevailed.
The nomination has usually been passed like a monarch’s crown — to the runner-up in the previous contest. George H.W. Bush prevailed over Bob Dole in 1988 and then fended off the anti-establishment upstart Pat Buchanan four years later. Dole got the nod in 1996.

Steve Bridges as President Obungler

Steve Bridges doing an impression of Obungler, the Same Steve Bridges has done "W" Bush, Bill Clinton and the Governator.   As I understand it, Obungler is offended by this act whereas the other people mentioned think the acts are great.   Obungler's skin is kinda thin...but I guess the Messiah complex was supposed to shield him from satire.

Here is Steve Bridges as "W"     you can go to www.stevebridges.com

Sale of F-16 C/D models to Taiwan

Sorry for the lack of postings for the past few days, went camping with the cub scouts and was away from the computer.   Now I am back:)

Here is some more information on the F-16 go here and here.

You know that it is funny that the Obungler administration will not sell more advanced weapons to a valued U.S. ally for fear of offending the mainland Chinese.  Something is wrong with this picture.  Obungler and crew has this affinity for throwing long time U.S allies under the bus for political gain.  I wonder how much the Red Chinese will contribute to his reelection campaign.  In 2008 Obunger got a lot of donations from Hamas and after his election Obungler proceeded to voice his opinion that Israel needs to go back to the pre 1968 borders in exchange for peace.  Funny that the palestinians can break all the peace accords and it is OK but Israel has to compromise again and again...for peace.   I see the same thing happen to Taiwan.  Part of the reason that the Red Chinese hasn't invaded their"breakaway" Provence is the United States Navy 7th Fleet.   Wonder if Obungler orders them not to interfere in what he calls a domestic issue.  Funny that he fails to comment when the Iranian people tried to overthrow the mad mullahs but he sticks his nose in Libya and encourages what he called ""Arab Spring"    I guess it supports his agenda of screwing up the American foreign policy and lessening the United States.

U.S. Congress to debate sale of F-16 fighters to Taiwan

ROC Central News Agency
2012/05/18 14:32:02
Washington, May 17 (CNA) The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to debate Thursday and Friday a proposal to provide Taiwan with new F-16 fighter jets, Rep. Phil Gingrey said.
The amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act will require the administration of President Barack Obama to sell at least 66 F-16 C/D fighters to Taiwan, the Republican lawmaker said while taking part in a discussion on Taiwan-U.S. relations hosted by the Heritage Foundation.
The co-chair of the Congressional Taiwan Caucus said Congress will continue to ask the U.S. government to fulfill its defense commitment to Taiwan and exert pressure on the Obama administration on the arms sale until it is accomplished.
With China having deployed 1,400 missiles targeting Taiwan and developed a new generation of military technologies, Washington should pay attention to whether Taiwan's military capabilities are sufficient to deal with the challenge, he said.
Taipei, whose fleet of F-16 A/B fighters is aging, has repeatedly asked Washington to sell it F-16 C/D jet fighters, but to no avail.
In September 2011, the U.S. approved the sale of a retrofit and training package for F-16 A/B fighters worth an estimated US$5.85 billion instead of offering new F-16 C/D fighters, but Taiwan still covets the more advanced fighters to narrow the gap with China.
In a letter to Republican Senator John Cornyn last month, White House assistant Robert L. Nabors said the United States will consider a proposal to sell new fighter jets to Taiwan as one of the options to address the military imbalance across the Taiwan Strait.
Asked to comment on the issue Thursday, Randall Schriver, a former deputy assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific affairs, said the possibility exists for Washington to sell the F-16 C/D fighters to Taiwan this year.

Legal Short hand.......Yeah that is it.

How stupid of us.
Obungler's propaganda minister Jay Carney has not told us what OUR problem was with Obungler's statement earlier this week that it was “unprecedented” for the Supreme Court, “an unelected group of people,” to overturn an act passed by a “strong majority” of the congress.  Now we know, thanks to Minister Goebbels Carney, that Obungler was talking in some short of a “legal shorthand” that is only clearly understandable to law professors and other elitist such as himself.  In other words --- the rest of us were just too stupid to understand what Obungler was really saying, and we should all be so very ashamed.

Musings and rants(yep, here we go again...)

Well the Elections will be coming up soon and the first thing I and many of my friends are doing is...

Yep, as they say in Minnesota "You betcha".    As the election is coming up, I recall a choice 4 years ago and 75 million of us choose Trump, but "somehow the donks "Pulled 81 million votes out of the hat for that dottering vegetable"  I had posted a meme for the 2020 election...

Well everyone has seen the results of 4 years of the "Xiden Administration" and Kamala is running to basically become Obungler 4.0

Now we have again upon the cusp of most likely the last free election in our lifetime the 2024 election.

There will be hard choices to be made and I hope people choose wisely.  I have told the younger voters that "if y'all buy the snake oil that Kamala is peddling, y'all are gonna pay the freight for choosing poorly, I am toward the back 40 of my life, y;all have your lives ahead of you, so choose wisely."

There is a huge belief that if Kamala gets in, that the way that the democrats are "Legalizing illegals at warp speed to get them citizenship to allow voting in 2026 and later"  This meme was from the Obungler years, but since I consider Kamala( Obungler 4.0), it has merit.  Remember for the past several months, they have had to revise job numbers downward because the labor dept got caught "fudging numbers" and most of the jobs that did get created, the illegals got.  There is a huge fear of the "great replacement" where we as native Americans are replaced by 3rd world outsiders because they are used to doing what they are told and will toe the party line which the donks and deep statist will love.

Meanwhile Former GOP VEEP from the 2nd Bush administration endorsed Kamala, and the donks fell all over themselves praising Cheney for "Being Brave".  The rest of Americans consider him "dishonorable " for endorsing her especially after the treatment he got from the democrats since 2004 because he was seen as "the Warmonger" "Darth Cheney", and so forth.

Meanwhile The President of the Ukraine, Zelensky flew into Pennsylvania in a U.S. Airforce plane and do some politicking for the democrats 2024 tickets in a battleground state and a lot of people are crying "Its a political stunt" and the House GOP wants to investigates because it broke several laws including campaign laws.

The Israeli scored a major coup and nailed the entire leadership and middle management of Hamas and Hezbollah when their pagers literally blew up...
Meanwhile word on the street the main mullah from both Iran and Hezbollah and Hamas are hiding in bunkers due to the success of the pager program.   and in that vein, word on the street is that the USSS you know these guys...

The guys that keep managing to bungle the protection around President Trump, word on the street is that there is a mole feeding intelligence to various kill teams and the 2nd attempt was an attempt to exploit a hole in the security net at Trumps Golf Course..A lot of people "Believe that there will be at least another assassination attempt" before November.  My honest concern is that 35% of Americans put their hopes and dreams of saving America into this man and what do you think their emotions will be if he gets capped and then the explosions of glee from the media and hollywood and the politicians and academia go "darn" and smirk and cheer and celebrate, what do you think their reaction will be?   It ain't gonna be pleasant.     And speaking of dodging..
While President Trump is dodging bullets, and assassination attempts, Kamala avoids the press unless she can find a very friendly venue that can "feed her campaign" the answers in advance so she can study up. so far it has been a mixed bag, and the pictures from the ABC debate shows what appears to be an earpiece in her ear.  Despite all that, she did *meh*, and now she is pushing for another debate on CNN again...and President Trump has already had 2 debates, and as far as he is concerned he is done, he has offered "Fox News" and it is more impartial and Kamala flat out refused because she won't get any "assistance" from that network

Meanwhile I think the DOJ wants President Trump to Use a pager as part of his security net....you know the same DOJ that has been weaponized  to go after the "enemies of the State"

You know...Veterans, Native Born Americans, and Legal Americans that don't like the agenda of the "elitist", whereas illegals, terrorist, and other neardowells get a pass...yeah...them. because the end state is to tear up the fabric of the country to such a state that the people will surrender their sovereignty to the state for the state to "save them" from the problems that were caused by the state to begin with.    Funny that...

Meanwhile the Democrats are pushing the Project 2025 is President Trump's baby despite President Trump has no involvement in it, and has disavowed it, and has no interest in it.

   Funny That....

And Hillary has crawled out of whatever sewer she has been residing in, I guess she is trying to make herself relevant after getting passed over on the VEEP nod from Kamala and she has been commenting about the extreme danger of President Trump being a "Danger and a Threat to Democracy" There has been talk about putting Trump supporters in camps before, especially during the covid crisis especially for the "Unvaxxed"
     Meanwhile

All the drama has been stirred up by the DNCMedia and has scared the crap out of people, stirred up the fear and animosity of various groups of people because the donks thrive on chaos and pitting group against group.

Remember the election is coming up soon, vote early in case something happens and you can't make election day voting, and stay away from large groups of people, that is where the stupidity will happen.

Obungler's Debt End Bus Tour(Debt)

Obungler has been traveling around 3 states in s huge bus touting a prosperity tour, I read this from the Washington post that It seems that the taxpayers are on the hook for Obungler's incessant campaigning....he cannot lead but he can campaign like nobody else can.   Also the bus is making an impression with the political cartoonist.

President Obama wants us to believe that his bus tour of three battleground states is an attempt to get to know Americans better. No one is falling for it.
The commander in chief kicked off his roadshow in Rep. Michele Bachmann’s home state of Minnesota on Monday. He’ll follow up with a visit in Iowa right after the GOP straw poll and a final stop in Illinois. The three-day excursion sounds a whole lot like a campaign swing through key 2012 states, but federal taxpayers - not the Obama campaign - are picking up the tab.
The White House is pretending the “economic bus tour” is part of the president’s official duties. Aboard Air Force One on the flight to the heartland, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said, “The fact is that the president is not engaged in a primary election, and he is doing what presidents do, which is go out in the country and engage with the American people, have discussions about the economy and other policy issues.”
The bus was supposedly necessary because rural areas can’t handle the president’s usual mode of travel. “A plane this size is hard to get into small communities and small airports,” explained Mr. Carney.

Elephants are up in arms. Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus fired back at what he called “Obama’s Debt-End Tour.” He told reporters at Mr. Obama’s first stop in Cannon Falls on Monday that, “We are not going to stand idly by while this president perpetrates this fraud of a bus tour while using taxpayer dollars to spin his failure to put America back to work.”
Hawkeye State Republican Party Chairman Matt Strawn added, “The only difference between the GOP presidential campaign buses crisscrossing our state this summer and the president’s bus is the taxpayers are footing the bill for the president’s campaign swing in northeast Iowa.”
The RNC will air radio ads, web ads and call independent voters while Mr. Obama barrels though each state reminding the public of the damage he has done to the economy.
Just last week, the Obama administration approved job-killing fuel-economy mandates for trucks. Beginning in 2014, heavy vehicles - including buses - must live up to design standards set by the bureaucracy. The official regulatory impact analysis of the scheme predicted compliance costs of up to $47 billion.
When asked if the president’s blacked-out-window bus lived up to the new federal rules, a White House spokesman referred the question to the Secret Service. The presidential protection agency refused to give out any information on the capability of the vehicles.
Of course, a president is always vulnerable to attacks for using taxpayer resources for campaign activity as the lines are often blurred near election time. However, this case is clear: Candidates, not presidents, take bus tours. Plus, there sure isn’t any history of this president wanting to hobnob with middle America.
The Obama campaign is raising money hand-over-fist in its drive to get $1 billion in the bank for an uphill re-election bid. It can afford to reimburse the public for this expensive stunt.
It’s obvious Mr. Obama remains oblivious to the economic plight of ordinary Americans. After just three days in the rural midwest, Mr. Obama will vacation on Martha’s Vineyard with his real friends: wealthy liberals.

Obungler legacy

I remember back when Obungler was running for President and the liberal idjits were calling RINO McCain W Bush 3rd tour.  They did well running a campaign against W, Obungler was running as the Anti-Bush.  When I heard the frequent references to RINO McCain as being the 3rd term of W, I responded that Obama will be the 2nd term of Jimmy Carter.   History has proven me right.     Dang..I was hoping I was wrong for the sake of our country, it sucks being right.

Racist for Cain

I have stated more than once that I do prefer Herman Cain.  All of the candidates in the GOP field will do a better job than Obungler has done.  From what I have seen and read, Obungler is trotting out the class warfare rhetoric, it will work with those Americans that don't pay taxes( the bottom 50%) and have a huge case of wealth envy and having Obungler promise to take money from the people that work and give it to them.
"Give me some of that Obama money"

         I got this from Townhall
Do not suppose for a minute that Herman Cain's victory in the Florida straw poll will alter the liberal narrative about the Tea Party and Republicans. No, we will continue to be instructed by the Congressional Black Caucus, the Today Show and The New York Times that the eruption of the Tea Parties is a reflection of the dark id of American conservatism; that it is primarily racist and xenophobic; and that the Tea Party movement is radical and extremist.
Waving the "bloody shirt" of racism has been the most reliable workhorse of Democratic politics for at least a generation. Remember the wall-to-wall coverage of the "epidemic" of black church fires in the 1990s? Remember George W. Bush's "insensitivity" regarding the ghastly lynching of James Byrd? The epidemic turned out to be imaginary and Bush was happy to sign the death warrant for one of Byrd's murderers, but the tactic is too precious for Democrats to abandon.
It will take some imagination to explain away Herman Cain's success. Among the very voters Democrats demonize, Cain achieved a resounding victory with 37.1 percent of the vote -- more than twice the percentage of his next, nearest competitor Rick Perry, who received 15.4 percent.
And it wasn't that Republicans and conservatives were acting upon an affirmative action spirit -- trying to prove that they too could pull the lever for a black guy. It's that Herman Cain delivers a great speech, is willing to propose solutions commensurate with our problems and is possessed of a remarkably sunny personality. As the Washington Examiner's Byron York reported, "It's not an exaggeration to say that his power as an orator sealed the deal for hundreds of delegates. They believed Cain was speaking to them from the heart, and they were carried away by it."
And it doesn't hurt that Cain embodies the Horatio Alger rise to success that liberals dismiss as myth but conservatives still believe.
Raised in pre-civil rights Georgia by working class parents (his mother was a maid and his father worked as a janitor, a barber and a chauffeur), Cain got a degree in mathematics from Morehouse College and then a master's in computer science at Purdue. While in school, he worked for the Navy in ballistics. Upon leaving the Navy, he entered the heart of corporate America, working first for the Coca-Cola Co., later for Pillsbury and then Burger King. The division of Burger King he headed went from the least profitable to the most profitable in three years. He performed similar magic for Godfather's Pizza, but in a shorter time, turning the company to profitability in a mere 14 months. He served as chairman and later CEO of the National Restaurant Association, and he also became chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, before achieving the true pinnacle of human achievement with a syndicated newspaper column.
Cain's proposal to reform Social Security along the lines that Chile and 36 other nations have adopted is the sanest entitlement policy prescription of the campaign thus far -- and with Mitt Romney playing it safe and Rick Perry having taken so much heat for the Ponzi scheme wording -- it is likely to remain so.
Cain's 999-tax plan is similarly refreshing. Our 11,045-page tax code, barnacled by layer after layer of complexity and special interest loopholes, is a drag on productivity and national sanity. A government watchdog agency estimates that Americans spend 6.1 billion hours annually complying with the code. Something like Cain's plan would cut the Gordian knot.
But as historian and political analyst Richard Brookhiser put it, in another year when the political world was rhapsodizing about some other newcomer (it may even have been Ross Perot), "The presidency is not an entry-level post." It isn't that Cain lacks the stature to be president, it's that he lacks the kind of experience the office requires. Though we perpetually disparage politicians in America (for good reasons much of the time), it cannot be denied that political skills are necessary in a political job. Beyond delivering a good speech, a successful president must know how to build coalitions, apply pressure to friends and foes alike, deal with a hostile press, appoint officials who won't embarrass the administration, handle ego and turf battles among his advisors and cabinet members, and know when to spend and when to husband political capital. And all of that is before he begins to deal with other nations.
Cain is a great American. His sudden rise in the presidential contest should (but won't) give pause to the bigots who have defamed conservatives and the Tea Party. But he is not our knight in shining armor. There may not be one. He'd make a heck of a Treasury Secretary though.

Hillary will not be back in 2013.

I saw this on Yahoo, I wonder if she will challenge Obungler for the nomination.....Obungler is incompetent, Hillery is ruthless.   Her supporters havn't forgotten how she was screwed by the Obungler Chicago machine.

Hillary Clinton talks to President Obama ahead of the State of the Union on Jan. 24, 2012. (Evan Vucci/AP)
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told State Department employees Thursday that she will not stay on in the job if President Obama wins re-election, saying that after two decades, she is ready to step off "the high wire of American politics."
"I think I have made it clear that I will certainly stay on until the President nominates someone and that transition can occur," Clinton said at a "town hall" forum with State Department employees Thursday morning. "But I think after 20 years—and it will be 20 years—of being on the high wire of American politics and all of the challenges that come with that, it would be probably a good idea to just find out how tired I am."
"I don't want to think about what might come next, because I don't want me or any of us to divert our attention," Clinton continued, adding that she plans to "work as hard as I can to the last minute I have the honor of being Secretary ... to support all of you."
A State Department official confirmed Clinton's comment, writing to Yahoo News: "Yes, she did [say that]. She said she would stay on until Obama nominates another Secretary of State."
Clinton was answering a question at a State Department meeting with department employees Thursday morning when she made the statement. The event was ostensibly to mark the anniversary of the Department's issuing of its first "Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review" (QDDR)--a major agency vision/planning document that Clinton sees as a key legacy of her tenure as Obama's top diplomat. But as often happens with Clinton--(see for instance the dozens of reports noting the return of her famous headband when she attended Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday night)--her own celebrity news instantly eclipsed the subject at hand.
"Clinton tells State employees she's not staying on if Obama re-elected but will work until last minute," CNN's Elise Labott first posted on Twitter.
Clinton has previously said in numerous interviews that she would serve only one term as Obama's Secretary of State. She has said that she loves the job but has found the constant international travel physically grueling, and has longed to work on promoting women's and children's development, writing and travel, from private life.
"There's so many things I'm interested in, I mean, really going back to private life and spending time reading, and writing, and maybe teaching, doing some personal travel, not the kind of travel where you bring along a couple of hundred people with you," Clinton elaborated to Tavis Smiley last year.
But her soaring popularity numbers and global celebrity status have fueled constant speculation on her future political plans. She and the White House have vehemently denied a persistent rumor that she might be nominated to run as Obama's vice president at the DNC this fall. She has also previously denied that she will pursue another run at the presidency in 2016 (though not all of her aides are convinced).

Dismayed and discouraged....

I an dismayed and disheartened by what I have seen, I have seen the establishment GOP knife the conservative members in the back, I see more of the same in the future.  I am wondering if we as a nation have the stones to continue to fight or have enough of the American people have gotten addicted to the government cheese to sign away their birthright for the illusion of security.  I remember the Reagan Revolution from the malaise of Jimmy Carter who until recent memory was the crappiest president in modern American history.
I remember when Bill Clinton got away with perjury(not oral sex) as the pundits claimed during the impeachment hearing.  I remember W getting his win over legions of Chads and democrat lawyers who tried to kick out the military vote the same time they were trying to pad the election results with extra democrat voters in very democrat areas like Broward county.  I remember the attacks on 9/11 when we became a united country until the democrats more interested in loyalty to party than loyalty to country.  I also remember W becoming the spendiest president until the petulant boy king assumed the Presidency in 2008.  I remember Bush the younger pushing through the Patriot act and forming Department of Homeland security 2 organizations that Obungler has used to great effect on his political enemies and the American people to help establish a police state the likes that would make Stasi proud and the KGB envious.
I am disheartened and dismayed that the establishment GOP saw the need to stick it to the Tea Party when the Tea Party caucus was the reason of the GOP getting the house back from the democrats in 2010.  The establishment GOP is more concerned about getting along with the monolithic democrats than standing on principles.  They keep forgetting that life goes on outside the beltway and many people have given up on the GOP, you know the same people that gave you John McCain who threatened to leave the GOP earlier in the decade.   The Establishment GOP after getting the House back in 2010 had the real opportunity to boot Obungler out and make him a 1 term president like Jimmy Carter was. , After running the most inept campaign in history instead of winning, we got Rommney, Who had good credentials but couldn't go against Obunglercare the most hated piece of legislation in recent history.  Many people like me held my nose and voted for him even though we were not happy.  Many other conservatives knowing that Mitt was establishment GOP refused to vote at all and giving Obungler a win and a mistaken belief that he has a mandate.
Now they have caved and surrendered like SOP for the GOP, now we will have to deal with this crap again in January which plays to the democrats plan to drag this to the 2014 elections where they will use it as a blugeon against the GOP instead of the 2014 being a referendum on Obunglercare.  We have a crushing debt, massive entitlement spending and no one wants to make the hard calls to fix the problem.  I am a fairly sharp guy one of the sharper knives in the cutlery drawer, I wonder where the Ginsu blades on the GOP are?  Don't they see the same thing? or are they just blinded by life in the beltway and forget what the real world is like.   I fear for my country, the future that my son will inherit and his generation will have to deal with the failures of the politicians to fix the problems instead of kicking it down the road.

I pulled the following article from Breitbart and I liked what Ben wrote, perhaps somebody in the GOP can do this to keep from getting hammered  in January........

The latest Republican cave should teach conservatives two particular lessons. First, crisis politics never benefit conservatives. When there is a crisis, the side with the media at its back and unity in its caucus will always win. That side is the Democrats. Crises do not work to conservatives’ advantage; the left can simply demonize conservatives by suggesting that their stance against massive government interventionism is a stance against the American people. In the fact of that pressure, the fractious Republican caucus is likely to buckle.
Second, the American people understand and like funding on a case-by-case basis. When Republicans passed an individual bill funding vital defense concerns, President Obama was forced to sign it, even despite his moratorium on signing funding without doing so for the whole federal ball of wax.
On January 15, America is slated to require a new continuing resolution. President Obama is itching for a replay of this fight closer to the November 2014 midterm elections. Republicans should not give it to him. Instead, they should spend every day between now and then passing individual spending bills and forcing Democrats to reject them in the Senate, or President Obama to veto them. Then the creation of a funding crisis itself will be on President Obama from the start. This also happens to be the way the founders envisioned funding the government, rather than through massive, pork-filled omnibus packages.
Can Republicans win victories by controlling the purse? They sure can, but only if they don’t wait until President Obama and the Democrats demand, at the point of bayonet, that Republicans open the vault. Instead, Republicans should pay the bills one at a time, just the like other Americans do. Then we’d be spared the drama and the crisis – or, at the very least, the cynical dramatics of watching the President of the United States and his Senate Majority Leader henchman claim that Republicans are the bad guys, even as they kill hundreds of spending bills even their own constituents like.

A few thought.....

I will be going camping again this weekend for NYLT.  Work is settling down after the problems that happened on Monday.  I am glad, I was tired.

I am sure the Vikings in Vahalla are raising their mead glasses in honor that another warrior has joined them.  I knew Mike only through his writings and that Mike and David humiliated the Obungler administration  when they tried to gin up a crisis with their back door attack on the second amendment.  I remembered when the news broke after Hillary was parroting the party line about 95% of the guns involved in the crime in Mexico and it comes out that the ATF allowed guns to walk into Mexico to run up a body count and generate a crisis that the Obungler administration would then offer a solution....more Gun control.   Lenin said it best...the means justify the end.  Mike and David did the work of real journalist, not the hacks in the D.C press corp that parrot the latest talking points from the DNC.  Mike's work on behalf of free people will not be forgotten.

Also the blatant bias of the mainstream media is amazing.  They piled in The Donald about his comment about the 2nd amendment people stopping Cankles.  They totally ignore the father of the Orlando Shooter standing behind Hillary and he endorses her...You know the same guy that believes in Sharia law, and gays get stoned....and he stands behind Hillary on a stage...?    the media circle he wagons to protect her and deflect the questions but Donald gets piled on...?  Jeez media...can you make your bias less obvious ?

Also I saw the payoff for the hostages in Iran....People are thinking that Obungler broke some laws...but nothing will happen to him...Remember he is a democrat and the rules are different for "our betters ".

Obungler and Hitler Youth comparison

I got this link from my Dad and watched it, it is a comparison of Obungler and Hitler youth.  Both uses propaganda and children.  The Children are the most impressionable in our society.  What Hitler was doing with the HJ(Hitler Jungend) or as we called it "HItler Youth".  You push a long term change of society starting off with the children.  The Soviets did the same thing, especially with Stalin,
 his NKVD
used the children to basically spy on their parents and if the parents were "disloyal" then the internal security apparatus would pay a visit and depending on the transgression, anything from a beating to making a visit to a Gulag for an extended stay at the behest of the state.  I see this video and all I can think of with those little American kids, they were singing to make their teacher happy but it also is indoctrination.  What will happen if Obungler gets reelected, will we have this stuff happening here?  Can you imagine what it does for the traditional family structure when the kids can use the state to punish the parents?   maybe that is what they want, having the new generation swear loyalty to a figurehead rather than their parents.  the government will be both mother and father, can you imagine what the kids will turn out as?

Syria and how our President got punked by Putin...

Well, if you’re one of those out there who has thus far failed to see the dominance of Vladimir Putin in the Putin/Obama relationship … the light surely must be shining now.  In the last 24 hours The Chicago Messiah has managed to show not only America, but the rest of the world, just how weak he is on the world stage.
A bit of a recap here to show you what kind of a bind Obama was in:
  • Obama goes off-teleprompter (always a dangerous thing) and comes up with this “red line” gaff.  He is then on the record as saying that Assad will be dealt with harshly if he dares to use chemical weapons.
  • Assad uses (or at least Obungler and Flipper say he used) chemical weapons against his own people.
  • Obama realizes how badly he screwed up with his “red line” comment.  His credibility, whatever is left of it, is on the line.
  • Obama seeks help from Great Britain.  For the first time since 1792 the British Parliament refuses to go along with a request from the Prime Minister to use force.  Obama is in this on his own.  I guess repeatedly being dissed by Obama has its repercussions.
  • Obama needs someone to stand with him on this, so he tells the nation he will seek an approval vote for the Congress.  Nothing like pushing the possibility of failure on Congress.  It soon becomes clear the congress is not going along.  The Senate .. maybe … but not the house.  Obama is feeling even more lonely and exposed.  I guess Congress don't want to be the fall guy for another Obungler failure.
  • Obama calls in the campaign team, Plouffe et al.  It’s not policy he’s looking for, it’s words.  They tell him to tell the world that the red line isn’t really his.  Fail.It doesn't matter that there is proof all over youtube that Obungler drew the red line.  Perhaps the media will cover for him...as they always have.
  • Virtually all polls taken of the American people show strong opposition to Obama’s planned attack on Syria.  We as Americans know that there is no American interest to be served getting involved.  The attitude is basically "they are killing each other....not us."

Putin (background – ass-kicking KGB operative) sees a way to take advantage of this situation to both embarrass and establish a stronger dominance over 0bama (background – pot-smoking community organizer and freeloader).  Putin heard John Kerry make a bit of a mistake at a presser.  Flipper is asked what Assad can do to avoid an attack.  The Flipper suggests that Assad could turn over his chemical weapons.  The White House immediately refutes the idea, and Flipper’s handlers start trying to walk the comment back.  But Putin was listening … and he makes his move.
Putin, loyal to his primary goal here is to keep his pal Assad in power, immediately seizes on Kerry’s idea and makes it a firm proposal.  Just that quickly Putin takes control.
Now Obama sees a way out.  He knows that Putin is controlling the situation here, but at least now he can avoid an embarrassing congressional “no” vote, the first in American history.  But hmmmmmm.  Maybe Obama can get some of his grove back here.  So he tells us that he was actually talking about this plan for Assad to give up his chemical weapons when he was meeting with Putin last week!  Yeah … sure.

So …. Here we are.  Harry Reid has already put off the Senate vote.  After tonight’s speech by Obama Reid will probably announce that the vote is postponed indefinitely.  The House may go ahead with a vote, but in light of Putin’s little parlay that vote will be cast as nothing more than an attempt to embarrass the anointed one.
An agreement will be reached between the ass-kicker, the community organizer and the gasser for Syria to turn over “all” of its chemical weapons.  Of course “all” of the weapons will not be turned over.  There will be inspections, but Putin will work with Assad to make sure the inspections are not too thorough.  In the end Assad will keep a good portion of those chemical weapons, and Putin will supply him with even more arms including the S-300 series missile system.
Down the road chemicals weapons will be utilized again and Assad can say " I turned in all the chemical weapons...Must be some rebel faction using it."
Obama's foreign policy is like an episode of the "Keystone Cops", total amateurs bumbling from one crisis to another most of them due to their own making.

Dammm, I hate being right....

Well I was riding around doing errands and I was listening to the news today and I hear "Dear Leader" say that any negotiations with the GOP will have to have no stipulations, he wants to have a clean slate budget passed and he also want the debt ceiling raised BEFORE he is willing to talk to the GOP.   Damm, I hate being right, I figured the intransigence was due to the debt ceiling, so the FEDGOV can borrow more money to keep the bennies flowing to the looter class so they can expand it and stay in power.  I talked about it last Friday.  Even the lamestream media is starting to notice the strident tones coming from the White House,  and the total unwillingness of the president to want to talk to congress, he is acting imperial and they are starting to notice that.  Not enough cracks are in the facade to break the total support they have for him.     The affordable care act has started off to a rough start, and many people that actually are trying to use the exchange are discovering that the system is crashing due to many incompatibility issues and plugins that it is using.  I have heard guestimates of 6 months to fix all the problems.

That isn't all, they are finding out that all the information that they are entering is freely available to all facets of the government, that there is no expectation of privacy and there have had sites hacked and peoples personal information stolen.   Also people have started getting their adjusted insurance in the mail the new insurance that is in compliance with Obunglercare:   Here is an excerpt:

Cindy Vinson and Tom Waschura are big believers in the Affordable Care Act. They vote independent and are proud to say they helped elect and re-elect President Barack Obama.
Yet, like many other Bay Area residents who pay for their own medical insurance, they were floored last week when they opened their bills: Their policies were being replaced with pricier plans that conform to all the requirements of the new health care law.
They voted for Obungler and Obunglercare and now they are getting just what they deserve. Ain't Schadenfreude a bitch
Vinson, of San Jose, will pay $1,800 more a year for an individual policy, while Waschura, of Portola Valley, will cough up almost $10,000 more for insurance for his family of four.
The Messiah said that if people like their policies and their insurance companies...they can keep them....Yeah Right...
…
I was laughing at Boehner — until the mail came today,”
Waschura said, referring to House Speaker John Boehner, who is leading the Republican charge to defund Obamacare.

“I really don’t like the Republican tactics, but at least now I can understand why they are so pissed about this. When you take $10,000 out of my family’s pocket each year, that’s otherwise disposable income or retirement savings that will not be going into our local economy.”
 "Welcome to the Party Pal..."
The Republicans are trying to help you, you clueless idiots. They told you this law would be a disaster, but you believed all the bullshit Obungler, ex-Speaker Nancy "You have to pass it to see what is in it", and Harry the ghoul  were pushing and you voted for this disaster. You voted to screw yourselves.  You voted against your economic interest in the interest of "fairness" and Diversity....and it now bit you in the ass...
“Of course, I want people to have health care,” Vinson said. “I just didn’t realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally.”
You can read more at the Link

I have been told by several liberals   "Well it is the law of the land...so deal with it."  I replied  "Well so was Dredd Scott and 700,000 Americans died fixing that little problem.   You really want to go there again?"

Now "Dear Leader" is pushing for a blank check on the debt ceiling, and he is totally expecting the establishment GOP to fold and capitulate like the French did in 1940, and for those that don't understand the reference, France had what many experts considered the most powerful modern armed forces in Europe, but Germany had a new way of fighting and the French were divided up with internal division, also a social rot had permeated the culture and many of the French when the time came to fight for their country, they just rolled over, they were mentally beaten by an inferior force but better tactics and leadership.  Now Obungler wants more money to spend,
I also hear the same place at the Washington mall that was closed by imperial fiat to the average citizen and WWII vets, somehow is open so a  future democrat voters pro amnesty rally can be held today......The double standards are galling and many people still are clueless what is going one.   I am trying to wrap my head around this and I am having a hard time with it.

Rick Perry and changing the constitution

 I got this off here

I will add my comments in RED

(Kelly West/AP)
Rick Perry has many ideas about how to change the American government's founding document. From ending lifetime tenure for federal judges to completely scrapping two whole amendments, the Constitution would see a major overhaul if the Texas governor and Republican presidential candidate had his druthers. Perry laid out these proposed innovations to the founding document in his book, Fed Up! Our Fight to Save America from Washington. He has occasionally mentioned them on the campaign trail. Several of his ideas fall within the realm of mainstream conservative thinking today, but, as you will see, there are also a few surprises.
1. Abolish lifetime tenure for federal judges by amending Article III, Section I of the Constitution.
The nation's framers established a federal court system whereby judges with "good behavior" would be secure in their job for life. Perry believes that provision is ready for an overhaul.
"The Judges," reads Article III, "both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behavior, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office."
Perry makes it no secret that he believes the judges on the bench over the past century have acted beyond their constitutional bounds. The problem, Perry reasons, is that members of the judiciary are "unaccountable" to the people, and their lifetime tenure gives them free license to act however they want. In his book, the governor speaks highly of plans to limit their tenure and offers proposals about how to accomplish it.
"'[W]e should take steps to restrict the unlimited power of the courts to rule over us with no accountability," he writes in Fed Up! "There are a number of ideas about how to do this . . . . One such reform would be to institute term limits on what are now lifetime appointments for federal judges, particularly those on the Supreme Court or the circuit courts, which have so much power. One proposal, for example, would have judges roll off every two years based on seniority."
I tend to agree, the activist judges that legislate from the bench goes against the intent of our 3 branches of government.  The Legislature proposes the law, not the judiciary.
2. Congress should have the power to override Supreme Court decisions with a two-thirds vote.
Ending lifetime tenure for federal justices isn't the only way Perry has proposed suppressing the power of the courts. His book excoriates at length what he sees as overreach from the judicial branch. (The title of Chapter Six is "Nine Unelected Judges Tell Us How to Live.")
Giving Congress the ability to veto their decisions would be another way to take the Court down a notch, Perry says.
"[A]llow Congress to override the Supreme Court with a two-thirds vote in both the House and Senate, which risks increased politicization of judicial decisions, but also has the benefit of letting the people stop the Court from unilaterally deciding policy," he writes.
I would go with 3/4 overide, to make it more difficult, the judicial branch is to intrepret the constitution to its meaning and uphold the law.  The 3/4 vote will make it difficult for the legislature to overturn a ruling to prevent the legislature from acting in a fit of emotion.
3. Scrap the federal income tax by repealing the Sixteenth Amendment.

The Sixteenth Amendment gives Congress the "power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration." It should be abolished immediately, Perry says.
Calling the Sixteenth Amendment "the great milestone on the road to serfdom," Perry's writes that it provides a virtually blank check to the federal government to use for projects with little or no consultation from the states.
Fair tax or flat tax, abolish the IRS and vastly simplify the tax code
4. End the direct election of senators by repealing the Seventeenth Amendment.

Overturning this amendment would restore the original language of the Constitution, which gave state legislators the power to appoint the members of the Senate.
Ratified during the Progressive Era in 1913 , the same year as the Sixteenth Amendment, the Seventeenth Amendment gives citizens the ability to elect senators on their own. Perry writes that supporters of the amendment at the time were "mistakenly" propelled by "a fit of populist rage."
"The American people mistakenly empowered the federal government during a fit of populist rage in the early twentieth century by giving it an unlimited source of income (the Sixteenth Amendment) and by changing the way senators are elected (the Seventeenth Amendment)," he writes.
This would restore the balance in our federalist system, the senators would represent the states interest rather than becoming vassels of an overreaching federal system.
5. Require the federal government to balance its budget every year.
Of all his proposed ideas, Perry calls this one "the most important," and of all the plans, a balanced budget amendment likely has the best chance of passage.
"The most important thing we could do is amend the Constitution--now--to restrict federal spending," Perry writes in his book. "There are generally thought to be two options: the traditional 'balanced budget amendment' or a straightforward 'spending limit amendment,' either of which would be a significant improvement. I prefer the latter . . . . Let's use the people's document--the Constitution--to put an actual spending limit in place to control the beast in Washington."
A campaign to pass a balanced budget amendment through Congress fell short by just one vote in the Senate in the 1990s.
Last year, House Republicans proposed a spending-limit amendment that would limit federal spending to 20 percent of the economy. According to the amendment's language, the restriction could be overridden by a two-thirds vote in both Houses of Congress or by a declaration of war.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and reform entitlements
6. The federal Constitution should define marriage as between one man and one woman in all 50 states.
Despite saying last month that he was "fine with" states like New York allowing gay marriage, Perry has now said he supports a constitutional amendment that would permanently ban gay marriage throughout the country and overturn any state laws that define marriage beyond a relationship between one man and one woman.
"I do respect a state's right to have a different opinion and take a different tack if you will, California did that," Perry told the Christian Broadcasting Network in August. "I respect that right, but our founding fathers also said, 'Listen, if you all in the future think things are so important that you need to change the Constitution here's the way you do it'.
In an interview with The Ticket earlier this month, Perry spokeswoman Katherine Cesinger said that even though it would overturn laws in several states, the amendment still fits into Perry's broader philosophy because amendments require the ratification of three-fourths of the states to be added to the Constitution.
Republicans need to run as fiscal conservatives, the social stuff can wait until our house is in order.  This will stampede the independents right into the the Obungler's camp for 2012.   What 2 people do in their bedroom is their business, not the government.
7. Abortion should be made illegal throughout the country.
Like the gay marriage issue, Perry at one time believed that abortion policy should be left to the states, as was the case before the 1973 Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade. But in the same Christian Broadcasting Network interview, Perry said that he would support a federal amendment outlawing abortion because it was "so important...to the soul of this country and to the traditional values [of] our founding fathers."
Republicans need to run as fiscal conservatives, the social stuff can wait until our house is in order.  This will stampede the independents right into the the Obungler's camp for 2012.    The LSM and the democraps will paint all the republicans with this statement and this will also stampede the independents to Obungler in 2012.  I don't like abortion, but it is the personal choice that all people have and the government will be legislating morality and this goes against the concept of limited government.

Rick Perry just marginalized his election chances and boosted the democraps and their 2012 chances.

Obama infographics

I saw this on the Mitt site and I liked it.  If they stay on task and hammer Obungler on the economy and stay out of the social issue minefield, they can beat him.  If the GOP gets involved on social issues, Obungler will beat him.  Especially with the National Media carrying his water for him.

Obungler's administration kills more jobs.....

Obungler administration beholding to the enviromental lefties killed another 20,000 jobs.  2012 can't come soon enough.

HONOLULU, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Canada expects strong interest in its heavy crude oil reserves from China after the U.S. government balked on a major oil pipeline project, the government said.
The U.S. State Department last week said it was reviewing alternate routes for the planned Keystone XL pipeline to avoid environmentally sensitive territory in Nebraska. That decision could move final approval, originally expected at the end of this year, to after the 2012 presidential elections in the United States.
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said during a meeting with Asian trading partners in Hawaii that the State Department's decision highlighted the importance of working closer with the Chinese.
"This does underscore the necessity of Canada making sure that we are able to access Asia markets for our energy products," he was quoted by The Wall Street Journal as saying. "And that will be an important priority of our government going forward."
The Canadian government said a heavy crude oil pipeline would get built to carry oil from tar sands projects in Alberta province one way or the other. The direction of that pipeline would depend on the end consumer.
Harper, in a statement, said he was disappointed with the U.S. government on the pipeline. TransCanada, the company behind Keystone XL, said they expected the project would be approved eventually.

Asshole opens his mouth again.,

I saw this on weasel zippers.

Ya know Obungler praises muslim holidays but "forgets" Easter, Thanksgiving and probably Christmas.  He goes out of the way to praise islam and refuses to acknowledge Christianity?   I know that we are supposed to be a secular society and I have no problem with that, the idea of having a state sanctioned religion is one of the big reasons why we had the pilgrims come to America to escape the persecution from the church of England.  Now with Obungler, we have a state sanctioned religion...and that religion is islam.

President Obama and the First Lady mark the Hajj and Eid al-Adha
Michelle and I extend our greetings for a happy Eid al-Adha to Muslims worldwide and congratulate those performing Hajj.
Thousands of Muslim Americans are among those who have joined one of the world’s largest and most diverse gatherings in making the pilgrimage to Mecca and nearby sites.
As Muslims celebrate this Eid, they will also commemorate Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son by distributing food to those less fortunate around the world. They join the United States and the international community in relief efforts to assist those struggling to survive in the Horn of Africa and those recovering from the devastating earthquake in Turkey.
The Eid and Hajj rituals are a reminder of the shared roots of the world’s Abrahamic faiths and the powerful role that faith plays in motivating communities to serve and stand with those in need.  On behalf of the American people, we extend our best wishes during this Hajj season.
